|Curae I - A Statement Regarding the Duke of Norrland|
After long prayer and discussion on the issue of atheism in the North with many inquiries into the matter, the Synod has determined to lift the Synodical punitive taxes placed on the Duke of Norrland's realm and support the inquest done by the Secretary of Faith. From various inquiries done, from the Secretary of Commons to the Imperial Marshal, the Synod believes the Duke of Norrland has shown he is not the Unionist has claimed he is. His Grace's refusal to state his religious beliefs multiple occasions, his Grace's general disregard for the Unionist Divine by the outlawing of the Missionary Order of the Synod in his realm, his Grace's refusal to seek penitence with the Synod even though the offer has been extended, and lastly, his continued support of an atheistic sect of Old Gods has proven he is not a Unionist to the Synod.
The Synod, as such, deems the punitive tax unnecessary and religious inquest done by the Secretary of Faith to be just. The Synod believes the Secretary of Faith will determine the unbiased truth of the Duke of Norrland's religious affiliation, whether that is truly of the Unionist faith as the Duke of Norrland claimed, or otherwise.
|Curae II - On The Guiding Eye's Role|
After a proposal from the Reverend-Minister Aelfric Harhold, the Synod has permitted the Guiding Eye to search for lost Unionist artifacts and relics. While their main goal shall always remain the conversion of the non-Unionist populace across Aloria, this offers a side goal to the organization and the Reverend-Minister looks forward to returning many important symbols and objects lost with time to the lands of Aloria, awaiting to be reclaimed by the faithful servants of the Spirit.
It shall be stated however that the Guiding Eye shall not actively search for these artifacts and only reach to reclaim them when they have found or heard of clues of their location and therefore Father Aelfric Harhold calls out to anyone who may have or find in the future ideas of the locations of these important pieces of faith. May the Spirit's eye shine light on the location of these items for the Guiding Eye and may the missionaries be successful in their quest to piece together Unionist history with these key heirlooms of the Unionist Divine and the Unionist population at large.
|Curae III - New Co-Legatus in the Synodical Army|
With the current Sword Legatus stepping down from his position as the leader of the Synodical Army outside of the Regalian Capital and taking charge of the Claw of Union within the Regalian Capital, a new experienced Commander to lead the Church's military fist around Aloria was needed. On the Diet of November Eighth, such a person presented themselves to the Holy Collective. Mister Henry Yates-Varley has been voted in as the Co-Legatus of the Synod's armed forces. This change in the Synodical Army will more efficiently allow Father Vladislav Volkovich to focus on the protection of the Synod within the Regalian Capital while allowing Mister Yates-Varley to focus on martial-related areas outside the Regalian Capital. May Saint Ruedin intercede on his behalf as he leads the loyal troops of the Spirit to glory.
|Curae IV - On the Nonnatean Order|
With the inquiry of Revered Mother Margaret Henriche under the tenure of His High Holiness Manfried II and after a large amount of backlog, the Nonnatean's proposal was finally put into deliberation and passed by the Synodical Council. Nonnateans will now be permitted to sit in on Diets. However, the Revered Mothers will not be allowed to vote or speak. We welcome them to the Diet Chambers with open arms as sisters of the cloth.
|CURAE V - On Silvens|
After a long discussion about the nature of Silvens, the Synod has determined to uphold not providing the sacraments to Silvens. According the majority of the Synod, while they may not be demons in a literal sense, their affliction allows themselves to be open demonic influence. The Synod reaffirms its right to provide the sacraments to Silvens who have been granted humanum or deemed overly zealous in the faith. The High Reverend would like to add that devout Silvens may experience rebirth without the affliction of Silvenism into a mundane form of their race should they choose to live the remainder of their lives solely to the cause of Unionism.
|CURAE VI - On Synodical Oversight of the Swords of Bulwark|
The Swords of Bulwark Mercenary Commander has requested the Synod provide Synodical oversight over the Swords of Bulwark. The Synod has reviewed this request, accepted it, and has offered the Curate Julius Peirgarten to provide spiritual oversight. Curate Julius Peirgarten will provide needed spiritual wisdom to the Mercenaries of the Swords of Bulwark and inform the Synod on any happenings that they need to be informed about. Should the Swords of Bulwark ask for more spiritual guidance, the Synod extends more of its wisdom to them.
