A crisp, frost-kissed night found its volcanic terrain illuminated in a bright white glow; it was the full moon. Beneath it three more moons were born, all of whom were to be called Suyin Su.

Suyin, Suyin and Suyin grew up in an immensely overcrowded household situated in a poor farming village in Huo-Chang, the southernmost Zhong Kingdom, with far too many mouths to feed and far too few beds. A string of poor decisions and unwavering pride beginning several generations back landed the Su family in this predicament, and as such, the children were left to their own devices. Their parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents worked in the store and fields perpetually, so it was up to the eldest children to take care of the younger ones in the household. As such, Suyin was left to learn how to be self-sufficient from an early age and take initiative in any sort of education or other skills they wished to learn.

One morning whilst attempting to figure out how to reweave their shoes by the well, young Suyin was greeted by the neighboring Liu Majin carrying out chores. A tired, reserved boy belonging to an ill-reputed family of alcoholic cartographers. They spent the day together and became fast friends, hardly spending another day apart from that point.

When Majin began his martial training under his father, so too did Suyin. They often trained together, and soon found their respective interests in specializations. Fans for Majin, projectile weapons for Suyin. As they grew older this became a problematic combination for those that crossed them in scraps and cons. With the growing success in their endeavors, Suyin found a love for what they could not have, and began fashioning clothing and items out of the fine cloths, jewelry and other materials the two stole. This was eventually turned into a constructive hobby under the apprenticeship of a trusted adult in town, who noticed the poor cuts of Suyin's fine kimonos and shoddy craftsmanship behind their weapons. The Su family's natural inclination for fine control of earthen elements came in handy during this time, as Suyin gradually learned how to incorporate it into what they made, then craft tools entirely out of controllable material. The Sihai's hands were constantly covered in little bandages, as they spent the majority of their free time on this.

On the eve of their 18th birthday, Suyin was visited in their dreams by the Dragon Liu-Xing. A silent, frozen landscape marked by a singular, endless waterfall. It contained all the colors of light refracted from the water, dappling the surroundings with radiant patterns while it itself was clear. A beautiful, serene setting. Free. It was almost as if Suyin themself became the waterfall, winding and traveling through the sky in a rapid landscape, shedding light that illuminated friends and tore through enemies until all faded into white. From this they chose the name Beishu, white waterfall.

As soon as Maijin turned 18 in the following months and picked the name Kurahe, the two wed. Their relationship had only grown throughout the years, and Beishu had proposed some months earlier much to the disapproval of their own family. Unfortunately problems arose in Kurahe's own family that caused him to have to depart in search of his renegade brother not too long after. Beishu was left on their own for the first time in their life, and as such was in dire need of changing in order to adapt.

This was when they decided to formally join one of the private armies of a Great Family within Huo-Chang alongside their fellow triplets. The three climbed their way up the ranks rapidly to become officers, and experienced their fair share of skirmishes over matters of varying importance. After a few years Beishu felt she had rediscovered a sense of self and was living life happily despite only being able to communicate to her husband through letters.

It was after a particularly nasty post transfer and battle against Akula that Beishu sorely missed the one she loved most in life, as she had lost so many of her friends that day. Her heart soared when she received a letter from Kurahe beckoning her to move to Regalia, and she quickly appointed an officer in her place before packing a light bag of essentials boarding an airship for Dexai. There, she gambled her way into winning a complete luxury trip to Regalia, and spent the next month on a boat making friends and steering clear of new enemies. By the end, she'd managed to get herself a suitable amount of Regals to start her time off well in the city.

She has arrived to Regalia and happily reunited with Kurahe! Beishu looks forward to seeing where the tide takes her and whom she may befriend– or end up warring with.
