I wasn't sure if there was a forum where suggestions are specifically posted so I came to general, but here it is.
I think having the server get More Player Models would be really cool. They give new models like nagas, dwarves, elves, undead; races that are already on the server. It is my understanding that if the server has the mod then anyone who wants to install it can and everyone will see their new model but nobody has to install it to play. If only the server has to get it then I think it wouldn't inconvenience anybody and really add to the visual difference between the races (better RP). Just a suggestion if I'm right about it.

I know that ulumulu1510 started a player initiative thread to encourage players to download the client side mod, which allows for you to see other players different skins who also use the client side mod

The More Player Modules is a mod. If the server installs the mid then we will still have to download the mod. I'm not exactly specified here so maybe Ulu can add what really happens or any other admin.

I am currently already using more player models and overall I like it, however I don't like the naga model. I think it's too small, and it's not really how I envisioned naga's. If you look at the naga skins, and naga description on this http://books.massivecraft.com/lorebooks/races/, you see that the model doesn't really fit what our lore defines naga's. I have only just begun this and have only seen the naga model in pictures, so if the small female body with a snake-ish lower side is not the only option, please correct me. Also, I don't believe that naga on more player models have a male form.

Now, I don't play as a naga, and don't even know anybody that does (It seems that very few people roleplay as type 2 races, most of them just do it for the stat changes. Although idk if naga is considered type 1 or 2 now, considering the nerfing that happened a while back.) I have never seen anyone do serious roleplay unless they were an elf, dwarf, human/vampire, yanar, undead, orc, or tigran. (I have seen a couple decent maiar roleplayers, but in general type 2 roleplayers are rare.)

So anyways, this naga thing wouldn't really affect me, nor would it affect a lot of people, so I'm ultimately still incredibly "pro-moreplayermodels". Heres the math. Take the amount of players that are going to be using more player models. Despite the community initiative, I would say that it probably is not going to be used by more than about 60% players ever, due to the amount of people who don't know how to use mods, or those that simply ignore/don't know about it. Then if you take that percentage of the playerbase and take out everyone who isn't a naga, you probably only have 1 or 2 people. So while this would annoying for me if I was a naga, I don't really think it is significant. I just wanted to point it out.

Im not sure if it is a plugin, but If you get the client-side mod it improves rp alot, and If you dont get it, then there is still no problems while playing the server.

I used a naga skin for my son's agni character. There is a male version, and there is a typo in the basic skinning guide, the hex 08 should be 80 for all occurrences for the male and female naga models. I like the idea of a tail, which is the unique feature for the naga model (instead of long hair or a beard), given the agni lava swimming ability. Size is an adjustable parameter for all the models, with slightly larger than normal, normal, slightly smaller than normal, or small being the options. I might start with a naga skin for a maiar character too, but would probably put in feature request to add the option of a dolphin like tail (there is enough room in the skin graphic under the tail for this to work), but haven't had the time or the need.

I have also confirmed that the bubble talk graphics work on our server, but still trying to figure out in what contexts. I saw it work, and have seen other conversations where it doesn't show.

Oh really? Well, I was not aware that some of those things even existed in the mod :0. Anyways, you have just made much of my concern go away. However, while I think it's interesting to use the model for an agni, I personally imagined the naga as a humanoid with scaley skin and webbed hands and feet, maybe gills, as they are partially water creatures but live on the land as well, unlike maiar. However I suppose there can be some of each :)

Regarding bubble chat, I'm not sure how I feel. A year ago I would've loved it, because I went from Runescape as my main game to Minecraft as my main game, and at first I nearly stopped playing the game with my friends because I hated having to read the smaller chat rather than easily viewing above their heads. Now, though, I've gotten used to minecraft chat, and think I would get annoyed by the bubbles. Idk. It sounds like a fun feature, but one that I will have to get used to again.

Cayorion stated that we will not add the plugin ( it is only for the emotes however). All correcly adjusted skins can be seen by anyone using the mod clientside, there is no limitation for you.

Feel absoluty free to use the mod.
