On one evening you may find yourself in at the harbor in the dark of the dusk, on the street are poor laborers carrying cargo to and from the ships. Some workers sit along the peer in exhaustion, their bodies wracked with pain and cold. In the Alleys you can see the shivering of crippled war veterans abandoned by the empire they once fought for. And frozen corpses of those too poor to afford food or shelter. Just as the lamps are being lit the evening fog starts to roll in. A gray fills the sky and the thick cloud falls on the evening activities of the docks. You find it impossible to see very far at all. From above comes the uncanny and quiet sound of creaking wood and canvas. No matter how hard you stare nothing can be seen, and after a moment you can no longer hear the sound. Later that night, you think for a moment you can see the shape of strange looking ship on the horizon, how bizarre.
The name Storm Crow Consortium may not sound familiar to most, but to some, it invokes memories of quiet shipping company. However the company is referred to by another name which escapes the grasp of your mind. For those who exist in the undercity, you may have heard rumor of a smuggling operation working for the blackmarkets. Some say that at night and with the cover of fog, they fly over the harbor district in, of all things, airships. And while no one really believes it, a few dock workers swear up and down that they once saw crates dropping down from the sky with parashoots and being picked up and taken away by shadowy men. But for those looking for work in the harbor, all those with experence on a ship, and don't mind work that is nefarious in nature, look in a place the sun will not shine and find a man dressed black robes he may have a job for you. Or so they say, anyway
The Crown City has once again attracted the criminal attention of yet another smuggling ring, and this one has Airships (Oohhh fancy). If your character is active in either the harbor district, a sailor, owns ships, etc then they would have heard these rumors. Characters who frequent the sewers would know of the Consortium and know that if you want to have something smuggled in to the city, you need only ask. If your character is a guard and you feel that the above post was power gaming as it did not allow your character the ability to react to it, remember, the above event avoids all forms of confrontation. As such no athority would have reason to suspect it would be happening. Imagion your character trying to explain their suspicions to their commander, might make them seem a tad crazy. However your characters reaction is entirely up you, have fun~ (But not too much fun).
