[The following notice can be found littered across the sewers and Regalia]
__________________________________________

We, the Citizens of Crookback, stand in solitarity with the City of Regalia.

Our homes fells victim last night for the selfishness of a destructive minority that does not represent the peoples of Crookback proper, just as the arsonists that attacked our home do not represent yours. My heart is with those who have lost their homes and their livlihoods to these horrible atrocities, and I vow to do everything I can to correct the damage that has been done.

As such, the Requisition will pay what we can towards the redevelopment of Crookback.
Rebuilding is hardly enough to repair the spirits of our peoples. Nowhere near enough. To the ones responsible, you will be found and punished for what you have done. No crime, no matter how hard, should be punished upon a collective peoples, over the individuals. Despite this desire for revenge the Crookback Council will not pursue those responsible on the surface. Instead, we offer our brethren on the surface a simple offer.

The Crookback Militia will do all it can to capture Khaal Sarnai, the Withered Rose Coven, the Athanasia Scion, the Vlae'lona Cult and whoever else partook in the burnings of the Regalian Overcity. In turn, we expect the Violet Order to capture those responsible for the Crookback burning, namely those of the Goretaan Throng, La Fra'ae, House Reinard staff and these Orthae Hold Sihndar. Should both parties be successful, I invite a trade of prisoners for us both to see justice.
Together, we will rebuild from the choas. With our determination combined, we will recover and those responsible shall face a pain ten times of that they have inflicted. I invite both communities to do what they can to bring those responsible to justice and bring any information on their whereabouts to the relavent parties.

To aid this with, a bounty sum of two hundred regals will be paid to anyone who captures any of the arsonists responsible for the surface burnings. Bring the captive to the Requisition Bank for the reward.

Finally, I place a special attention on the one known as "Cal", or whatever else they call themselves now. An envoy of destruction, this thing has been the cause of endless headache. Their current plight of gathering artifacts to offer to some Arken for whatever it is they were after was somewhat admirable, but sloppy. Just as their capturing of Jocelyn von Duerr, during which they cut him open to steal their ring, was sloppy. Just as your planned burning of the surface was sloppy. And because of your foolish actions, you have brought an unrivalled wrath onto our home: Our Paradise of Freedom. You are a danger to us all in how you tantrum about like a toddler without their toy, and you listen about as much as one too. If you have an ounce of decency in you, you will meet with me personally at the mountain camp above the bay at noon and we will see to you put in your place.

Signed,
The Shadowman

TL;DR:
  • The Requisition will pay what they can towards the repair of Crookback.
  • The Crookback Council offers the Violet Order an offer: We will capture those responsible for the surface burnings if they capture those responsible for Crookback's. If successful, we will trade prisoners and see to the punishments ourselves (@Osowiec, if the Lord Commander is up for discussing this further, please DM me! Or if anyone else fancies to. I know there's some shift around in commanders rn, so I have just about no idea who is in charge of what anymore)
  • There is now a 200 prog regal bounty out for anyone responsible for any of the arsonists (Oh boy, here's a lot of tags: @ZiggyStarDusted @TheBearistotle @Caelamus @Eronoc @CainsTedTalk @Acosmism @SaltyLikeTheSea. Sorry if I missed anyone, but if you were involved in the burning, you now have a bounty on your head)
  • Cal has been accused of being responsible for the von Duerr attack, and Shadowman has invited them to the camp in the mountains above Crookback at noon for a duel (If Cal accepts, @Yurs please get in contact with me to arrange a time)

Amidst the scorched remains of Crookback Bay, a mutated hunter lingered. The white-haired aberrations silver eyes caught notice of the papers being scattered throughout the region, prompting the swordsman to descend from his trusty seed and give the parchment a read.

"Noble words, for a thief." murmured the gravelly-voiced Dothraen, taking notes of the bounties placed and pocketing such to his leather satchel. Afterwards, the hunter returned to his horse, mounting the steed and giving it's reins a yank. He rode through the scattered ashes and burnt buildings, disappearing into the bleak scene.

Amidst the rubble and soot that was the burnt Petalcourt, a booming voice resounded out; hooves slammed onto broken masonry, maleficent horns swayed in his stampede amidst smouldering embers.

"Surface-dwellers. Go after me - I dare you."
It was very much obvious who said it, a loud decleration - defiant to all; these were Einherjar's words.

"Ha! Looks like the Militia is a ton of noble-boot sucking people after all! Do the Milita even think for a moment they truly have the power, number, or even strength to take down these Covens? Pathetic. Can't wait to see how this flies, they already have traitors among their mists.. They'll take care of all of this..."
Mumbled the Dark Sorcerer, who then staked off...

The sounds of a soft violin ring out through the burned ruins. "This shadow man has sense...though I doubt he will get the ones he wishs to trade. All of you underestimate the extent your anarchy has damaged you. Return to theft for the Red Bard's sake, you all have only brought your own destruction with meaningless violence."

Sadeldrus of Sarnai reads the notice in his hand, a growing pit in his stomach as he continues. Gradually, the 'Kathar' literally shrinks into his clothes, until a Qadir stands in his place.

"Good luck, Cal."

A cloaked warrior silently looks upon the notice, among the many others recently posted related to this. He looks upon a unique coin with a symbol of an Orchid on it, and simply nods. "Hopefully we can do something this time."

With that, he leaves, taking the notice with him.

Milena squints at the page. ".. Bounties. On two titled nobles and their families. This'll go over well with the Guard."

The red-hooded figure still held the stench, that of wine, of cinder, of smolder. The taste of burnt, the scent of brimstone and sulfur, and too did ash still linger upon it, plastering itself in a film of gray, in a coating of silvery sands and the fire's snow.
Patches did not care to comment
, words to it had less worth than worthlessness, and thusly; it used the page to fuel its lantern.

"Humaira, you..." Novellia rose up from her bed, wearing her her night robe as she read over the notice. She breathed in deep, smoothening the fabric over her stomach. She lowered her shoulders, shutting her eyes tight. "Dragons guidance be with us." After a moment or more, she made her way to one of the desks in the bedroom, beginning to pen a letter.

Dantalion, clutching the notice in silk-gloved fingers, sighed as he looked out over the burning wreckage of the Bay.

"They cannot hope to capture all of us...

...can they?"

Yet, as the many-faced sanguine princeling slipped into the City, he vowed to make good on the deal he had struck.

The Prideful Scorn would receive its promised bloodshed.

The hunt had only begun.

Plastered upon this notice came a cautiously written, but emotionally charged document from the swirling cursive of the skeletal Lich. It was from here he made certain to scrutinize parts of this letter and the Underworld with great care.

"It is with a heavy heart that I see my allies, who once swore to be best as leaders and controlling the Underworld for only the better, to blind themselves to the ill-justice of the surface world and believe it to be a damning punishment to those who, truthfully, received only an uncomfortable bout of swearing from the Peerage and had their mistakes paid for by the Emperor when he had no stake nor blame within the matter. As a matter of fact, the Emperor of Regalia has shown to the world that he has taken more responsibility for the burning of Crookback than any of those who actually did it have or ever will.

According to this bounty, "The Crookback Militia will do all it can to capture [these organizations]. In turn, we expect the Violet Order to capture those responsible for the Crookback burning, namely those of the Goretaan Throng, La Fra'ae, House Reinard staff and these Orthae Hold Sihndar. Should both parties be successful, I invite a trade of prisoners for us both to see justice." However, there is a distinct lack of this happening. The Goretaan Throng was all but ignored for their participation, La Fra'ae mysteriously 'evades' the eyes of the Violet Order when, truly, the guard forces have not cared to pursue them, the Orthae Hold Sihndar have all but received a slap on the wrist that is not spoken about, and the familial member of House Reinard still remains a very wealthy noble who only lost her legal prowess.

However, there has been no mention that the members of the Goretaan Throng, House Reinard family member, or the Orthae Hold Sihndar have actually been captured to be handed over to the Crookback militia to receive the justice they truly deserve. If such has happened, it has not reached my ears, and by all means, if it has not reached the ears of a creature who scans thoughts and has all but dominion of the Underworld, then there is a distinct problem that insinuates that the clandestine organizations of the city have become lap-dogs and sold their values in exchange for another pat on the head from daddy. Worse yet, there is an implication that the work of the Violet Order isn't needed to be done at all, for we will simply snitch and throw ourselves on the execution block for them while they scramble for ways to look like they have control over the situation for a higher salary they have not earned, given the La Fra'ae still remain at large with minimal investigation.

As such, I declare this:

Those Kathar who pursue the Kaahl Sernai, who received an answer from a Void god for extreme effort and who has all but been deaf to the plight of the Manathar and Kathar, are indeed not Kathar, but elves with grey skin and a submissive want to be accepted. Those thieves who claim that they are all for 'even-revenge' values are fools, for they are actively allowing themselves to get the worst deal- dead allies and a slap on the wrist for higher-ups whose negligence caused over 1,000 deaths, more than four times what came from Petalcourt, and financial damage to businesses owned by the Clandestine that dwarfs the value of the entire Regalian state bank.

And I declare that each Clandestine group that pursues this clearly wrongful bounty should never again claim that they are oppressed by the world's forces above when they are contributing to their own moral poverty with the wanton slaughter of allies and Kathar clergymen with an answer from their real gods only so that they can watch a lone rich woman, only one of many who perpetuated the slaughter of the Crookbackians that were punished, be granted a warm bed at night to rest her sorry little head upon when those who burnt Petalcourt will have their many heads resting in a bloodied basket."
