((This Skirmish was announced previously on Discord, but the Forums were down at the time, so it is being re-posed here for recordkeeping's sake.))

The Regalian Archaeologist Ithania Jameson has long sought to be the one with the honors of excavating a series of ancient Dregodar Ruins near Amontaar. However, the Ex Sword of Caius Suadhira seeks to claim these ruins' relics for herself and her flock. They compete for the Sol's favor by jostling and attacking each other's caravans, but at the end of the day, the Sol does not care which of the two ends up with the 'rights' for the Ruins, and because of this Augustin Roca has no favored party either. While the two could still benefit from either outcome, the two parties Mercenary Companies will be fighting for are Suadhira and Ithania Jameson.

Altered Rules: Excavation Party
While Skirmishes in the past have operated on a "winner take all" result, and future Skirmishes will include a second and third place, Skirmish 4 will count Victory Points as the following:

Groups must promise themselves to either Ithania Jameson, or Suadhira, when they make their first point submission. Groups can swap who they are fighting for, however their points will not swap with them, and will remain with whichever side they "won" them for.

At the end of the Skirmish, each side's total points from all mercenary companies will be tallied. The winner will either be Suadhira, or Ithania Jameson, depending on which side has more points.

Once a winner is determined, the % of points earned by each mercenary company will determine how many characters they may send into the Dungeon. For example, if Ithania wins with 10 points, and has Team A with 5 Points, Team B with 3 Points, and Team C with 2 Points: Team A will get to send more characters than Team B, and Team C will only get to send one or two characters. The final "Party" for the Dungeon Event will be composed of members from each of the winning Mercenary Companies, up to a maximum of 15.

Altered Rules: A New Challenger
Lured in by the promise of glory and ancient relics, the Mercenary Company "The Sarvaya" (The Band of the Serpent Sword in Common) will be taking part in fights during this Skirmish. Members of Sarvaya will be played by Staff Members, and join in Skirmish Battles. The Sarvaya are a skilled band of mercenaries, and a challenge: Any CRP with Sarvaya NPCs present will reward +1 Skirmish Point to every Player Company who takes part in the CRP, provided the Sarvaya does not come in 1st or Last Place.
