Singleplayer Senility

So, lets have it: all that random crap you build while in single-player. Skytowers, giant volcanic wastelands, cast cityscapes, elven towns, giant spaceships, pits of doom to the ether (void below bedrock), anything and everything goes for this. The only rule is that you need to have built it yourself - no taking credit for other peoples stuff. I'll start with a few very interesting forts I've made during my "I don't have internet but I've got electricity and minecraft" time...

Hey, I name everything after screwed up names and words. Osai was named when I half-sighed, half-sneezed and that was the sound. Paloin was originally going to be Palion, but I mispelled it. Okyno was the words Oku No (Many in Japanese) squashed together and with a y instead of a u. So why not use Mecharia? I wasn't joking in ally chat when I said my next faction will be called that

I go to build cities... but instead I just terraform and build hills. Then I delete the map and start over. I hate and love it.

Here is a small town I was making, suited with a wizard tower, a rich district and the common grounds. I plan to add slums and a mine as well.

So I was bored some more, so I made a town. I call it Lapitza Town, named after the (rather impressive) fortress in the mountain behind it.

Step 1: Build the wall and restructure the steep hill into a smooth hill.

Step 2: Build the houses from ze ground up. Church & Graveyard is in the background.

Step 3: Make ze fortress of Laptitza, which comes with a catacomb, a back-way out (to prevent a proper siege), and is awesome.

Step 4: Get a picture with the sun in the back, because that makes it cooler.

Step 5: Populate the town with villagers and iron golems, then make sure it's mob-safe.

Step 6: Close ups for the win!

Fun Fact: that wall would keep out 85% of all Middle Ages raiders, but wouldn't do jack against a raider on Massive. Enjoy

๖ۣۜNendai-Ki Hensha, after such a toiling fight against the Regalians, caught sight of a light-house upon the edge of an island shore. He was weak, hungry, and in no condition to pass up such a place which may have grandly needed supplies.

He approached cautiously upon the foreboding creation, hoping the place would be empty.

Quite frankly, it was not.

However, the man was very friendly. He ushered him inside, showing him all that he had, remaining quite proud of it as he stepped aside to retrieve some gauze. Good ol' Samson!

๖ۣۜI suck at building too. I just took an hour to build that lighthouse. Wanna what though? It looked like because I experimented with my resource-packs, followed a familiar real building I've seen before, and I used every thing I had to change it and make it less looking like a cube. Experiment with stairs, slabs, and since you're in creative mode, rare items. My lights were beacons. It made the lights look a ton better than glowstone! You can do it, Shawn!

Look! I built a train!

At the back we have a simple boxcar, nothing special:

Next we have a 1st class passenger car:

The interior is fancy with flowers and plenty of luggage storage:

Coupled next door is the 2nd class passenger car:

Not nearly as fancy as first class:

And last but certainly not least, is the engine! this one is a steam locomotive, and even has a tender:
