• Shina has lived atop the Sollerian mountains all her life, up until now. Her family's legacy is that of profoundly intellectual and charitable priests and priestesses--philosophers who became encouraged to speak the word of their goddess, Sinnavei.
• She has left her home, Avonn, to acquire worldly knowledge, perspectives, and understanding. And to her, the place the Solvaan's Regalian allies call home is the perfect place to begin. She has come alone and searches for hired personal guards, warriors, or Solvaan mercenaries to protect her for surely, with this job comes risks to her wellbeing.
