Has the idea of room-mates not been discussed? Adding to that, deciding who has to pay water/post fee/bedroom tax.

Delete if so.

I don't follow what your question is asking? Could you elaborate with more details or examples?

Apologies, I would have thought 'Dated' meant giving the post a post-date.

As for the idea, I'm currently looking for a home about the role-play section and I'm struggling if I'm honest. Anything that's remotely okay, is very much taken about three rows down the street, and using /as find rent <> is pretty much redundant as the more appropriated 100r shops for sale are just that, and the 80r halls in what I know now as the -old- sewers are about to be demolished. In my opinion, those halls are very nice and I'm curious to wonder why they couldn't be used for something else.

As such, could sharing accommodation, or home-sharing be a real option within the limitations of Minecraft for those in need of housing that's more affordable/closer/ascetically pleasing to the eye?

You can share a house, just buy one and add people and if you want them to help rent have them pay you every month so that their sharing the price - if they don't pay kick them out and take their permits

I would say it's much easier just finding someone you would like to share with and see if they would agree to do so. Get your characters to mingle and get to know one another and that would settle that problem.

As for TPing around the old sewers with the /find rent command try doing /as find rent price Regalia. That will make it so you only TP to available rents within the city. I will be looking into removing the old sewer regions soon, they've been there for far too long now.

I would be all for this idea- of someone who is added to a region being able to pay rent. Because I used to share a rent with someone who went inactive for around 4 months, and I only barely managed to get them to come on to add a ton of months to the rent.

If there was anyway to make that happen I would love it. I also think AS is made by a different dev though, its not In-House.
