    Name: Shae Keya Wren

    Age: 26

    Race: Tigran (Reggss)

    Gender: Female

Main ambition: Freedom and Love, with a hint of Power on the side.

    Visual Info:

    Photo on 10-14-16 at 9.50 PM.jpg

    Eye color: Yellow-green

    Hair color: Tan/gold

Hair Style: Covers her entire body, with tuffs on the tips of her ears like a bobcat.

    Skin color: Pink??

Clothing: Simple strapless top and very long loincloth reaching down to about her lower legs. This outfit varies, her often switching out between black and white.

    Height: 6 foot.

    Weight: 180 lbs

Body build: Slim but incredibly fit. A bit curvy in figure.

    Weapon of Choice: Her claws.

    Visual Expansion:

    • Shae has abnormally large claws, never having once filed them down or trimmed them. She actually went to lengths to sharpen them. Even when hiding her claws, the tips of them can still be seen peeking out of her fur.
    • Shae's fur pattern is similar to that if you were to mix a Bobcat with a Puma. She shows similar features to both such as Puma's markings, body shape, and tan fur, along with the Bobcat's ear tuffs, spots and very long whiskers.
    • Her accent is nothing special. While she does have a nice vocabulary, she speaks mainly common. The only other language she knows is Ithianian, taught to her by her best friend after she came to Regalia.

    Personality:

Charming: Often times the first word out of Shae's mouth is the same one that captivates any who meet her. While people often judge her first and foremost as a Tigran, most who take the time to just talk to her end up becoming good friends with her. Shae even has a few friends among high nobility.

Compassionate: Shae has always been rough around the edges, and I dont just mean her claws. But despite that, and while always skeptical of strangers, this will never stop her from showing kindness. If ever she sees someone in need, she'll be the one to help, even if it puts her in an unpopular light.

Playful: As rough and tough as Shae may appear, she has a sweet, even mischievous side to her. She loves pulling very small pranks on her friends, including but not limited to tackle hugs, and throwing pebbles. This sometimes gets in her trouble, even when she means no harm.

Impatient: The one time she spent in jail, she spent asking "Am I free yet?" every few minutes or so to the poor guard who kept watch over her. She lacks patience in about all the spectrums where its needed. Weather its dealing with waiting, or dealing with an idiot. When Shae has something to look forward too, she will make it very clear that it is one of the only things on her mind and wont let it go until said event has come to pass. She can often times be a pest because of this.

Oblivious: She knows no personal space. She will get all up in your face and have no clue that she's doing anything wrong. She also has a hard time taking hints. They fly right over her head. This often comes across as her being ignorant or even just dumb.

Opinionated: Growing up in Ssil, she never really grew up with rules. Showing up to Regalia's citizen classes was hard for her to wrap her head around. She has quite a few things she'd love to tell quite a lot of people, and she will say it if she thinks she can get away with it. Sometimes she'll say it even if she cant.

    Strengths:

Physical Combat: Shae always looked up to her father, who was in the Daendroc army. Because of this Shae worked to become as fit as she could to one day follow in her fathers footsteps. And while she's never been formally trained in a weapon, Shae was taught by her father as a young child to fight effectively with her claws in hand to hand combat. It was for this reason she never once filed or trimmed them down.

Light footed: Very fast, and very quiet, Shae loves to run and climb. She's a pretty big cat but can be quiet as a mouse when she wishes to be. And Shae has no problem using every advantage given to her, including running on all fours just for more speed, even if she looks like an animal while doing so.

Perceptive: Shae's feline senses come of much help when she goes to the tavern for a little info grabbing. No one gives the tigran a second thought as she sits and listens to every conversation among the busy establishment. Her sharp eyesight and hearing have lead her to come up with some pretty interesting findings.

    Weaknesses:

Temperamental: Shae has a nasty little temper that often clouds her judgement. Insult her or any of her friends and she'll go ballistic. It especially makes her mad when someone picks on one of the lower races. More then once she's stood up for lower class races such as herself. And once she's gone to prison for it.

Missing tail: Shae cherished her tail but lost it tragically to the Usque, who cruelly chopped it off. Since then, her sense of balance is not what it once was. While she is lowly learning to balance without it, climbing trees requires she use her claws to keep herself from slipping up. Its also a disadvantage in battle, unable to get her balance quite as fast when under attack.

Oversensitive: Ever since coming to Regalia, Shae's emotions have been a bit fragile, having to adapt to such a new and somewhat cruel lifestyle so quickly. While she wont show it, Shae is quick to assume and often takes things the wrong way. This can and has lead her to making poor decisions.

    Backstory:

    Childhood:

Shae was the only child born to a loving tigran couple living in Ssil. Most of her childhood was very kind and loving, her family living in a safer part of the lawless city. Her father, Shyr, was part of the Deadroc army and wasnt always home much. However the days he did spend there he spent making his family smile. Shae loved her mother, Vashti, but she adored her father. Shae would always be waiting outside her home on the days she knew her father got to come home. The father daughter duo was inseparable. While Vashti never approved, Shyr spent his time with Shae teaching her to either fight, or play the flute. Often both in one day. Vashti taught Shae more practical skill such as cooking and reading. Vashti also ended up teaching Shae to paint when the little tigran saw her mother doing it. This all started around the time Shae was 7. Overall, Shae had a creative and happy home life.

While she did have friends, Shae was always much more quite and observant then most and often sat by and watched her friends play. She preferred to sketch, often making pictures of the objects around her. When she was about 10, she started helping her mom with her work, her family having a small but popular cafe they ran.

    Adolescence:

Shae had a drastic personality change when she hit about 15. After all the training she and her father had done, Shae suddenly went out looking for fights. While still responsible and loving towards her family, her calm demeanor turned into a feisty one as she grew eager to test her new skills. Doing so she started stealing jewelry from those she beat in combat. The day her father found her jewelry stash, Shae had a serious reprimanding. He made it very clear that while he was happy she could defend herself, she should never be so reckless. Abusing her skills was something he started teaching her never to do from that point on. After forcing her to return the jewelry from those she stole it from, he eased up a bit and promised to take her to get her own first piece of jewelry one day.

Shae, from that point on, refused to ever lay a hand on those who didnt deserve it. From that stemmed her kindness and sense of justice. Her version of justice is similar to that of Karma. She just believes in getting what you deserve, no matter who you are. But instead of looking for fights, she chose after that to spend her free time getting more fit. She practiced running, climbing, and even her own version of parkour. The rest of her time was spent either at the Cafe helping her mother, or at home, doing chores or playing her flute, the flute always reminding her of her father and that he would come home to see her again soon.

    Young Adulthood:

Sadly as she grew, things became harder in her family's life. As Shae grew older, shady people started coming to her side of town. With her father almost always away, Shae alone had to fend off attackers trying to steal from her or her family's Cafe. Her mother was older and had no fighting skills, leaving Shae to mainly support the two of them. Shae never did smile much during those years. Things only got worse when she hit the age of 25. Her father returned once after many months only to have to go to war against a strange foe. He promised to finally take her to get her an earring when he got back, but sadly that day never came. He want off to war against the strange bone monsters that had risen up, and he was one of the poor souls who fell to them on the battlefield.

Both Shae and Vashti were crushed, however neither could mourn with the bone horrors still out there and starting to head their way. They made plans to head to Regalia, and within the week started their journey the the imperial city. The journey was slow it and took a few months to travel safely there, and about halfway, Shae and her mother were separated when attacked by a stray bone monster. Both fled and lost each other. Shae off and alone thought her only option was to continue onwards to Regalia, hoping her mother would be there waiting for her. Her heart only suck when she finally arrived within the city, her mother nowhere to be found. To her relief, she later received word from her mother by letter that she had fled elsewhere with some of her family, but that she was safe and perfectly fine. However her mother would not be joining her in Regalia, which left Shae alone in a place foreign to her. It was a shock to her when she learned people viewed her as nothing more then a mere slave. Used to being an equal in Ssil, she was outraged but learned that if she was to survive, she had to adapt to the cruel society of Regalia. She still struggles to follow the rules laid out before her, but she now works hard to make a better, safe life for herself, hoping maybe her mother will join her in distant future.

I see that your personality is shown in Shea a bit. ;) Good reviews take time. I was actually reading your app for the first time when you last bumped it, but didn't have time to post.

I was very impressed at how little work this app requires to make it approvable:
    • Impatient is only two sentences. Expand on this a little bit.
    • Calm seems to conflict with Opinionated and Temperamental. If she has very strong opinions and will blurt them out, it seems to diminish her otherwise Calm personality. I imagine that this means that she is calm except when she has an opinion, but I would still say someone with opinionated outbursts would not be personified as Calm. I also didn't really see much calm in the life story. Replace this with a different positive personality trait.

Can I ask why this was rejected? When it was in fact approved? Does it just need an update?

It's pretty out of date aside from the format. There's a new proficiency system, but the app is behind in other aspects as well- Tigran are now Varran, and the personality section doesn't demand individual traits anymore. You're best rehauling the entire thing seeing as it's from all the way back 2016.
