    Personality and Abilities (Required)
    • First Paragraph:
Roger is seen as a kind and just man. Rather than adhering to a purely white knight narrative, his presence is rooted in his own capabilities backed by years of experience and knowledge. His goodness is an extension of these years and his experiences within the Viridian Order. However, he is not a stone figure and possesses a personality which is visibly present within the man. He is soft spoken and in a positive mood more often than not. At times he is seen to be worried or fearful, but hardly in a lax situation as these are hard to come by for Roger and are a welcomed relief to a strenuous day of different services from his background.
    • Second Paragraph:
Inside of himself, Roger has a sense of longing and loneliness. While he is able to develop different relationships, he longs to return home and see his family once again. It is the single aspect of his character that he has ambitions for, to be capable to make his return journey to Essalonia. In other senses he is fearful of failing in his duties. He has spend many years to develop his craft and skills to become a capable warrior, yet there is always that lingering possibility of failure, especially when confronted with the unknown, which is something that Roger believes exists in all men. And even still he possesses his own confidences within himself and his position within the world. Being a servant of the Empire which allows his family to survive, he is devout in his service and his faith. All around, the internal development of Roger is rather typical for a man within his status in life.
    • Third Paragraph:
Roger is a fatherly figure and open and caring towards his family. They are the reason he has sought to improve his position in life. He regrets that at times this self improvement has resulted in his separation from his loved ones, however they are the ones that give him the motivation to do what he does so that he can inevitably return to them. His actions towards friends are that of camaraderie and trust. He is comfortable around them and rather trusting in that he holds no secrets worth hiding away from others. This allows Roger to be an open friend and able to approach his friends for advise and to escape the struggles of his reality and his anxieties. They are a way for him to improve himself through advise as well as to let loose.
    • Fourth Paragraph:
The morality of Roger is towards the good end of the spectrum. He will not engage in actions or behaviors that are morally corrupted or inherently evil. In some philosophies, murder and the act of killing another are viewed as evil, yet it is a necessary cost for peace as such it falls outside of the moral spectrum for Roger. If actions have a good cause, then they are justifiable. He is not a man to betray or set up others for failure, rather he only focuses on his own performance and self improvement. This causes his morality fall outside of the political cut-throat nature of others he surrounds himself with.

    Life Story (Required)

Roger Lionel was born on the Old Ceardian continent in the year 266 AC. At the age of two the destruction of the Old continent hit which resulted in his family fleeing as refugees into the Essolonia landmass, forging themselves as colonists. In his youth, Roger was exposed to the struggles of colonial life. While his family had much wealth to their name, the reality of the situation was that wealth could only do so much to forge themselves into the new environment, having to result to physical labor to just get by in surviving.

When Roger was old enough to comprehend the world around him better, his family was able to gain a foothold within Essolonia, establishing themselves to a higher status. At the age of ten, Roger was sent to the Regalian Empire to have a knight prepared to serve in war, something that would not be able to occur if the boy remained in Essolonia. This is due to Roger's father to being partial to an ideology similar to Dogartan which resulted in his beliefs of martial service to further the Great Way best.

Within the Viridian Castle, Roger performed to his best ability. His skillset was more focused on the agility of the longsword, yet adhering to practices of the heater shield for a heavy defensive companion. As Roger grew in age, he became more involved in various campaigns the Viridian Order required of him to serve in. This is when the young man saw a lack of benefit in using the heater shield in combat, decidedly abandoning it as a swift blade was more than enough to handle the opposition he faced. The armor he used was more than enough to keep him safe.

As the years passed, Roger perfected his craft in the longsword, experimenting frequently to set himself apart from others. This resulted in his decision to utilize duel longswords in order to push his speed and agility with the blade to its highest levels. He would become known as a one of the fastest swords within the Order, taking the titles as the Knight of Crosses, a note to his blades frequently crossing over each other in combat scenarios. Alternatively he is known as the Lion Knight due to is surname.

As he reached to his current age of forty, Roger would begin to move from different assignments, operating as a guard to varying noble members as their rule is seen as an extension of the Emperor so their defense was moral. Presently the household which Roger serves is Kehlen under the Lord Wulfram.
