The Hounds of Betzikya​

As of today, the city of Regalia has now witnessed one of the greatest horrors to ever occur in its long history, its citizens slaughtered by what now seems to be hordes of invisible monsters (three of which have been confirmed by the Regalian State Minister) roaming the streets in hunting cycles. I had fair cause to believe that the jihad against the Dread Kathar had been won, and that our blades raised against them in that final battle would be the deciding blow. I now realize with full clarity that what happened in the Elven Moors was only an opening act, and that once we were lulled into false security, the Demon Queen Betzikya would release what is among her most terrifying creations of evil so far. Through either the vengeful Dread Empire or some other force, she brought down a falling star from the deep pit of her soul, releasing her demonic Hounds to overpower all who do not bow to her.

Do not fear the end of the world, nor believe that everything is hopeless, for I know that we can beat back the monstrous abominations who stalk unseen! I personally attest that I have wounded one of these creatures during a confrontation with but a swing of the blade, a sign from the Yaradan that we can find salvation if we stay strong! Know today that the jihad is still active against the Dread evils, for it is the sacrosanct right of all to slay these Hounds of Betzikya once and for all, whether for faith or to protect your loved ones.

Even with divine faith, one must be careful and ensure that they take the role of wise defender instead of rash attacker. Do not go seeking them down out of some need to be a hero if you are not prepared, and if faced with one such beast, engage these Hounds with caution and wisdom while others fight beside you, for only the fool would engage such a horror alone. Their horrible clicking noise and crunching of snow alerts their presence, and any method to break their demonic invisibility, whether it be mud or oil, may be tested against them to nullify the power given to them by Betzikya. Take heed for methods, research, and weapons being worked on by the State to counter the threat, for we need every miracle and advantage we can acquire. Finally, no matter what, know that approaching the crater where they spawn from is nothing short of suicide, for it is here where demonic essence draws the Hounds in as a nest.

During this crisis, we Ibadet are willing and able to assist the State and Unionist church in delivering charity to the needy or mitigating the Hound threat. Our imams will provide guidance, food, and medical aid for those stuck in the city, and we will give refuge to any unable to find shelter. The Yaradan has not abandoned you, commoner or noble, and He will deliver you from the demons.
