So I’m trying to make a scholar type Altalar who seeks to learn Mira about the Seraphs and their society.

I’m struggling to figure out what languages would best aid this sort of goal.

Because of the 30 to linguistics my character possesses, he is able to learn ancient or forgotten languages like Seraph or Void Script.

Since a character starts with 2 languages (common and one learned growing up) what sort of languages would be proper to have? Because of my 30, I have a limit of 5 additional languages (I believe.)

In addition, am I limited to only one ancient language or may more than one be learned.

*I’m more focused on being able to read these languages, not necessarily speak them.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t. I was more looking for what would be of better use in the situation described above, rather than a list of the possible languages. Some of my questions are left unanswered.

I think there's a Sereph expedition storyweb group that might work.
