I would like to advise players to not take scamming as a light thing, I was almost scammed earlier today when I sold an axe with expensive enchantments. We met up at the Regalia spawn and this is what happened: Me:"I have the axe right here" *I pass it over to him* Him:"Alright, thanks (Now keep in mind this happened just after the auction) *He walks away* Me:"Hey! You forgot to pay me my 15 Silver... Him:"Oh,...whoops

I believe that if I was less assertive I would have just walked away ignoring the fact that he didn't pay me. I also know that this was no mistake because nobody forgets that quick or the fact that he just wanted to sword badly. I am just reminding players to keep in mind that the person you are making a deal with doesn't take the item and run off or take the money and run off or visa versa. I am saying to remember your soul person is to make business not to be the robber's bank.

take a screen shot and put it on ban appeals... problem solved

Indeed, there are rules against scamming, just post screenshots and you get paid and he gets banned. If did didnt take screenshots then you cant do anything short of declaring war and attacking until they give the item back.

Why did you give him the axe before he payed you? That's just asking for trouble.
Someone has to pay first. Lets reverse the rolls. Hypothetically, lets say that Xanderab was the scammer. He receives 15s and then never hands over the axe, and then the other guy was scammed. I myself am just paranoid, so I never do business unless it's with people I know, or at least know of, (ex. If someone like Mecharic replied to me saying he would buy whatever I was selling, I would know it wasn't a scam, even though I don't really know him personally), or if it's a chest shop.

Just a quick question, did I sell it for a good price? The axe was Fortune III and efficiency IV for 15S
Well, seeing as fortune doesn't actually do anything at all for the axe, it would be more valuable if it wasn't included, cause now you have to pay extra levels to repair it for something that serves no purpose. Efficiency 4? On a good day that's worth 10s, but that's when it's on pickaxes. With tree feller, efficiency is close to useless on an axe as well.

So I'd say you got a great deal. Its true value is closer to 4s, 5s if it didn't have fortune on it.
