    • Remet Asha can control a special substance called Living Metal, which is a solid Metal that becomes liquid by their thought and imagination, and can be reshaped to whatever they can imagine, and telekinetically moved around.
    • Remet Asha have perfect night vision, capable of seeing in dark and low-light environments without needing external lights. Additionally, their claws when struck together create flint and steel like sparks that light up.
    • Remet Asha have a natural bodily reaction to non-combat Magic in their proximity. This can for example cause the fur in their neck to stand upright. It can also be used to warn of a magical presence before it is spotted.
    • Remet Asha have a heightened sense of smell, sight, and hearing out of Combat. This is fairly flexible and should be discussed with people in a scene in terms of what advantages this may give an Asha in varying scenarios.
    • Remet Asha either through a combination of excellent acrobatics, or shock-dampening limbs, or using their claws to slide down buildings, never take damage when falling from heights, so long as this fall is below 50 Blocks.
    • Khama Faith Mechanic 1: Any Believer of Khama, even non-Asha, gains access to the Remet/Savent Asha Heritage Mechanic regarding Living Metal. Living Metal is also called the Blood of the Gods among Khama believers and has great religious significance to them as a result. For more information about Living Metal, refer to the Asha Page. Additionally, Khama Believers, due to their access to Living Metal, gain the Living Metal variant of the Shapeshift Pack for free. For rules on Living Metal Shapeshifting, see the Page. Re-buying this Pack with Proficiency results in the normal variant being given instead, or the Magical variant if it is chosen.
    • Khama Faith Mechanic 2: Believers of Khama can appeal to the Gods through a ceremony or in-game Event to deal Karmic justice to someone who has wronged them. These Calendar Events must be held with more than a few believers, but do not require Divinium. Staff should be notified of such an Event in a Ticket, and either bear witness to the ceremonial request or receive information about it in said ticket. The core function is that the faithful come together to lament about the injustices perpetrated by either a Player or Event NPC after the fact and beg the Gods to deal Karmic justice to them. For Player Characters, this will never cause permanent damage or death, but can cause them to become cursed, or temporarily receive debuffs. It will be very obvious to the target that the faithful of Khama requested they be punished, though the Gods may reject for a variety of reasons.

  • Satzaret is a street performer who specializes in playing the Darbuka drums, ask her to play for your event, or find her jamming on the street some time!
  • The Asha is extremely unsure about her stance on magic (despite secretly being a mage herself), one could easily sway her mind either for or against it with valid arguments.
  • Satzaret is a devout worshiper of the Khama religion, with Zaret as her patron god. She was raised in a Khama temple and is always keen to meet fellow faithful.


Backstory

Satzaret's condition at birth was almost unheard of within the kingdom of Gizkh; A Mageborn. Her parents were woefully unequipped to deal with a mage child & handed her off to the local Khama clergy in hopes they could provide her a safe upbringing.

The Khama priests & priestesses that cared for Satzaret were kind, but incredibly strict on the Asha, encouraging her to keep her emotions in check & keep her secret, never to cast in public. Naturally, her magic manifested through music & sound, subconsciously affecting the way people felt & thought.

Seeing this as an especially dangerous magespark, the younger members of the clergy decided to call upon the gods to bless Satzaret. Zaret answered the call, much to their dismay. The Trickery god blessed Satzaret with more magic; soul magic. Her ability to alter minds spread to their memories & personalities in a much more permanent capacity.

Satzaret saw it as a blessing at first, gifted with a newfound ability to erase memories or suspicion of her 'condition'. She rarely had to use it for most of her youth, only occasionally erasing short-term memories in emergencies where she'd had to utilize her magic in front of others.

Mid 312 AC, there was a terrible accident in the Asha's home town. A multitude of people became aware of her magic- rumors & fear spread quickly, and more conservative locals began organizing 'witch hunts' of the mage. In a panic, Satzaret called upon her god-blessing to cast a massive memory-altering spell, desperate to erase her mage status from the minds of the townspeople.

The spell went awry, misfiring severely. All memories of Satzaret were wiped from her loved ones, and some people lost all sense of self. The town was a mess, no one had any clue what had happened, and Satzaret didn't know how to fix her mistake.

She took her closest friend, rebuilding their memories together & constructing an elaborate holiday the two had been planning for 'months' in the other's head, and fled to Regalia to hide from what she'd done.​
