    SAMON RAYMOND EYNSFORD
    [IMG]
    Basic Information
    • Full Name: Samon “Salmon” Raymond Eynsford.
    • Age: 28 years.
    • Gender: Male.
    • Race: Ailor Human of Ceardian descent.
    • Main Ambition: To spread the word of Unionism in the sewers and purge the filth around him. By establishing his own Unionist Cult in the sewers, he hopes to break it apart from within.
    Skill Information
    • School: Blackmark.
    • Level: Warrior.
    • Source: Taught by a freelance tutor in Regalia, and maintained during the frequent fights in the sewers.
    Visual Information
    • Eye Color: His left eye remains intact, naturally retaining a deep grey colour. Due to his Vilitatei mutations however, his left eye now has deep grey sclera and a strongly orange iris. His right has been seared near shut, yet whatever is visible of the iris and pupil is a blinded orangeish white.
    • Hair Color: Muddily black.
    • Hair Style: Left free to grow, mostly swiped to the side to avoid a fringe. Short and slicked back.
    • Skin Color: A near deathly pallor.
    • Clothing: When casual, loose garments that often show off quite a few of his scars. He additionally owns a large, heavy set of improvised Blackmark armour.
    • Height: 6 foot 2 inches naturally, yet turned 6 foot 5 inches after his mutations.
    • Body Build: Strongman.
    • Weapon of Choice: A heavy and hooked one-handed waraxe, along with a tall shield.
    • Double-lidded eyes, like those of a serpent or reptile's.
    • Stronger and more coarse finger and toenails, a deep black colour and visibly sharpened. They look almost like the claws of a beast.
    • An additional eye settled in the side of his neck. Samon can open it and close it at will, yet it has no sense of sight for him and doesn't aid him.
    • Longer, sharpened canines and incisors. They are far longer than a vampire's and stick down over the edge of his lip when he closes his mouth.
    • A set of deep black scales engrossed in his side. He normally had a badly healed scar from an axe cut here, and it's been replaced by the thick scales.
    • Reddened and protruding veins near the black scales.
    • Deep grey sclera and coppery orange eyes - not to be confused with gold.
    • A few miscellaneous scales on each of his shoulder blades.

    Personality
    • Samon is very pragmatic, acting based on reason and circumstance, and not based on theory. He is more likely to stick to a method he’s learned and practiced, and is far from innovative. Others see Samon as a charismatic, yet hard-to-get to man. Judgmental far beyond what a normal person should be, Samon has a tendency form immediate opinions about somebody based on their religious views and the way they carry themselves alone. As such, he’s very opinionated. Samon is very much a doer, not a thinker. What would be heard of Samon is his incredible passion for Unionism; he’s ambitious and follows his beliefs with a firm energy. Others may interpret him as a bit of an extremist; yet if that word is what it takes to be truly Unionist, he’d happily take it on. One of Samon’s best yet most detrimental traits is his faithfulness to his best friends; before their deaths, he was known as a loyal and grand man.

    • An avid follower of Unionism, Samon has an incredible sense of self-justice, believing that if his actions are justified and benefitting the Empire, they are right and shall be carried out. He’s been known to take matters into his own hands, and has once taken his extremism so far as to purge the Dulofall Grove from filth and heresy with his fellow believers. Samon isn’t necessarily a very self-confident man, showing selflessness in his actions. Additionally, Samon has an intense dislike for people associated with the Void or the Sanguine curse, known to be easily infuriated.

    • Strangers mean very little to Samon unless they’re higher rank than him within the religious hierarchy or explicitly need help. Family, however, is a completely different matter. Taught by his belief to value his parents and elders, he treasures simple people like his mother greatly, even if this value is only placed on her due to his religion. His mother is a relatively unremarkable person. His friends, however, start a burning sense of loyalty with in him; he’d give anything for them, even his life, and so would they; and have in the past. Samon takes a long while to form relationships, but when he finally does, they last for life. Samon has no experience with lovers at all. While not a virgin, he’s never found a woman worthy to keep around him who’s not a heretic.

    • Samon is moralic, but his morals are determined by his religion, so are naturally up for debate. He’s near dogmatic in the way he follows his treasured teachings; and as such, his morals can be interpreted by other religions as evil and extremist. He’s very passionate in his beliefs, but believes himself to be far from corrupt. Others’ evil deeds are however heresy to the Imperial Spirit - and should be moderated with force accordingly.

    • Hardly has there been seen a person more passionate about his faith than Samon. Partly due to his background in the Isle of Basta, Unionism has been a heavy influence on him all his life. Practically breathing the Imperial Spirit, he stays true to every code of the Emperor and Regalian law. Samon’s views tilt slightly towards Dogartan Unionism, as he’s been known to be self-destructive in an attempt to help his cause. Being a Human, Samon views himself as a pinnacle of Unionistic belief. While not obnoxious and self-absorbed, he still feels he’s due more credit than he’s given.
    Talents
    • Blackmark Warrior
Trained in Blackmark, Samon wields his axe with deadly efficiency, essentially a tank. Not focusing much on fighting theory or strategy, he additionally carries a large kite shield to deflect hits. He’s built muscularly and carries much strength on his body; the signs of a true warrior. His training helps him be deadly on the battlefield, and he’s suffered many scars as a result.
    • Courageous
Driven by his willingness to please the Imperial Spirit and serve the Emperor, Samon’s shown extreme courage. Partly a product of his selflessness and lack of will to do anything purely beneficial for himself, his motivations are converted into courage to right the wrongs in the world and avenge what needs to be avenged. He doesn’t think twice about putting his life on the line if it’s for the right cause; a trait that’s often good, but also self-destructive and internecine.
    • Ambitious
He needs to be better, and he needs to prove that he’s worthy of the Afterlife alongside the Imperial Spirit. Driven heavily by his religious beliefs, Samon is a passionate individual who really strives to complete what needs to be completed. He takes initiative when others don’t, and does what needs to be done; often individually. Burning the Grove was just one example of the forceful ambition Samon shows; but also his need to avenge his friends. Samon strives for excellence.

    Life Story
    • Samon Raymond Eynsford was born on the 2nd of March, 277 AC to two rather insignificant Ailor Humans in the Holy Land of Basta. They were a family of flax farmers, owning a small piece of land along the Ciconia River.
    • The young Samon was raised with his older brother Nikas, the two close enough in age to have fun together, being only two years apart. Their father was deeply Unionist, and worked as a Curator for the Sancella of Union.
    • From the age of seven, Samon and his brother were taught simple Common writing and reading. They’d already learned to speak by word of mouth. Samon wasn’t particularly booksmart, yet learned just the same.
    • Around the age Samon was nine, the father of the family divorced Samon’s mother to leave and become a Father of Piety. Samon hardly saw him after this, yet was deeply moved by his aspirations to be something more important to the Imperial Spirit.
    • From the age of ten and onwards, Samon grew increasingly interested in the Unionistic teachings and the idea of selflessness and serving the Spirit. He worked hard with his mother from that time forwards, building up his strength through manual labour.
    • At the age of seventeen, Samon completed his first pilgrimage of Basta, visiting the assorted landmarks and religious sites. He went to see his father, yet couldn’t recognise him in the crowds - he must have grown much more radiant under the light of the Spirit.
    • As soon as he turned eighteen, Samon, invigorated by the Imperial Spirit’s power to change people for the better spiritually, left for Regalia in hopes of doing actual service for the Emperor one day. He hadn’t expected that the Holy City was filled to the brim with the Void.
    • Enraged by the city’s underworld, Samon wanted to take action. He had the strength he needed - just not the abilities. Not having the funds for more prestigious schools, he settled for Blackmark. Although he knew it was dishonourable, it’d have to do.
    • Finding a freelance tutor in the school rather quickly, Samon began his straining journey to become a warrior. He further strengthened his body mass and received many nasty scars and floggings in the years to come.
    • Finally, when 27, Samon reached Warrior level in Blackmark and decided to fight for the Imperial Spirit and the Emperor during the Lo occupation and Deathling crisis. He left Regalia temporarily to help defend various Nobility.
    • During his training and the wars, he met up with the people who would end up being his best friends. Oswald, Syles, Wolfram, Theodore and David were all people he’d met and formed bonds with either during Blackmark training or on the battlefield, or elsewhere.
    • Once returning from the wars, barely in one piece, the groups met up. Sharing their extremist and extremely loyal following of Unionism, they hang out together and developed an unbreakable friendship. One day, Wolfram brought up the idea of quenching the spirits of the sewer dwellers bringing down the Holy City’s reputation; by burning the Dulofall Grove.
    • On the 7th of April, 305AC, the group set off into the sewers, armoured with haphazard weaponry and the likes. Storming through the taverns and causing havoc and spreading the holiness of Unionism, they torched the Dulofall grove. On their way out of the sewers however, the resistance was great. In the end, only Samon and Oswald escaped alive; the rest brutally slain in the sewers.
    • The following day, Samon wanted his revenge. He hadn’t realised people were still searching to eradicate the escapees; and as such, was met with torture and hatred from the revolting Shendar and sewer-folks. Being torn around and nearly killed, a few Pro-Grove hoodlums captured and tortured Samon, resulting in the entire right side of his face being held in fire.
    • Saved and rescued just barely by various kind-hearted people, Samon escaped his fate once more. He sustained major injuries and blood loss; but he couldn’t just leave the bodies of his dead friends in that rotting hell-hole. They deserved to be remembered for their actions and their courage; Samon knew that he would do anything to retrieve their remains.
    • Shortly after, Samon joined a more honourable cause in an attempt to right the wrongs and injustice. Reasonably bitter and grieving, he was more motivated than ever to prove to the Spirit that his friends were worth salvation and had followed the Great Way; and that he was an honourable man and followed the true belief. He became a member of the Confessors of Volckamar for this reason, and lends his axe and body to their cause.
    • After being captured by Usque Galenas and their Syndicate on a trip to the sewers to retrieve the bodies of his fallen comrades, he was tortured and kept in isolation for days. Keeping sane only by holding the image of the Spirit in his mind and praying consistently for the five days he was captured, he was essentially put through torture and worse.
    • Eventually after the Confessors of Volckamar, also known as the White Order, refused to pay the ransom which Usque demanded, Samon was mutated into a Vilitatei through touch of the void blood magic.
    • Bitter, Samon attempts suicide before being talked out of it. He turns cold and more determined than ever to eradicate evil and heresy. Setting up an Extremist Unionist Cult of his own in the sewers, he aims to break the nest of heresy apart from within.
    • The heretics must be eradicated.

Personally, I'm excited to have seen a character have his life story shaped almost entirely around IC interactions. I've only got a couple criticisms! You should put your edits in obnoxiously hot pink.

This is actually two strengths. Blackmark training is one (as a Constitution and Strength boost through training), and an increase in pain tolerance due to his injuries are another (as a Constitution boost). You should either remove the last part, or tie in a weakness. Blackmark warriors already have an implied hardiness, but this talent pushes its limit as one.
You should try to pick just one. I'm not worried about the strength, but actually the fact of how a strongman has far less Dexterity than a muscular man, whereas the muscular man sacrifices Strength to maintain a very mild Dexterity.
His real name is Salmon, and there's nothing you can do about it.

You didn't change his name to Salmon. It's a tough call, but after some intense debate and a lot of disagreeing, I can overlook the lack of proper salmon.
    APPROVED.
    Check the title.
