Name: Samara
Heritage/Culture: Bene Rexit Isldar, half-Teledden
Age: 172
Gender/Pronouns: girl
Occult: Geist, Ordial Soul Mage
Samara, like most Bene Rexit, is a fervent Glacial cultist. She seeks control over the souls of the dead and over the Undead, in order to see Malefica dethroned and assist in the Glacial's rise to ultimate power in the Beyond.
==========================================================================
Samara stands at a respectable six feet and two inches tall, sporting split-dyed black and white hair and the titular Geist eyes, with black sclera. She has a habit of wearing flowy robes over form-fitting underclothes to retain range of movement. Samara has augmented her appearance with various tattoos in typical Bene Rexit fashion, portraying the Beyond or the dead over most of her body, and on her back a particularly large piece displaying the Glacial ruling triumphant over all the other Ordial gods.
Samara bends Ordial Shades to her will, keeping many in her possession in order to help bolster her Magic in a fight. She also carries a pair of long knives, one an ornate fighting dagger with a black pommel inlaid with green gemstones, the other a rugged and durable dagger best called a "sword breaker."

Born to a Bene Rexit Isldar and a Teledden near a Crystal Spire in the Allorn Empire, Samara spent her formative years learning from the Allorn, her Bene Rexit family members, and some of the surrounding cultures.
Samara had been born with a Magespark, and was trained to use Ordial Magic in worship of the Glacial, instilling in her a lifelong religious conviction. Eventually, her conviction led Samara to travel to Rexavaal, honing her Magic further and fighting against the Vampires that threaten Ellador. Samara picked up skill with knives while in Rexavaal, using daggers to break through the defenses of powerful Vampiric Mages that her own Magic was ineffective against.
Before leaving Rexavaal, Samara performed a ritual in which she dedicated her life to the Glacial, making a pact that blessed her with Geistdom before she set out into the world at large, intent on spreading frozen death in her wake. Samara took up mercenary work sometime during her travels of the world, as it gave her a more socially 'acceptable' reason to kill, and access to various groups she could use to gain information for her purposes. She also gained an interest in firearms, learning to use them during her travels.
For a long time, Samara held little interest in Regalia, rumors of violent cycles of oppression of the Occult and Occult uprisings causing her to keep a keen and cautious eye on the City, but content to wander the world as a verglas huntress. The mass-destruction event in the Allorn Empire sent her rushing back to her original homeland, only to find the Crystal Spire she had been raised near utterly destroyed and devoid of life - or unlife - with her entire family being wiped out. The apocalyptic scale of the apparently mundane mass-death garnered great interest in Samara, and on finding only rumors and terrified whispers of what had happened, she set her sights on Regalia, the City known to be full of knowledge and information.
Filled with grief and rage at the death of her family, Samara wishes to find out who or what could possibly be responsible for the destruction in the Allorn Empire, intent on taking her revenge.
Despite her anger, Samara sees the mass-death as an impressive display, and wishes to replicate such an event - preferably directed towards Dorkarth, or even Islavaal, to destroy some of the greatest foes of the Bene Rexit as well as send countless souls to the Glacial.
