This is another idea for a Premium Feature .
The ability to apply on the forum for roleplay faction claims.

- What is a RP Faction Claim?

A RP faction claim would be a claim made by a staff made faction (like for example the starting citys of each continent). The naming of the faction would be dependent on the requester faction. For example if the faction Ithania would get a RP Faction Claim then it would be named something like IthaniaRP.
The claim would have pvp disabled, which is the main feature of this claim.

- Restrictions

  • Little or no storage containers may be inside.
  • Normal claiming rules apply. All factions within 16 chunks have to agree (proof of agreement has to be provided in the application of the chunks).
  • It may not be abused by the requester and his/her faction. This includes using it as a safe haven after starting a war or to hop away from pvp.
  • It comes with a price per chunk . This cost could be anything from 100r to 2000r per chunk.
  • And of course you have to apply which has to be accepted and could be denied if you, or your faction are not deemed fitting (for example raid factions would be unfitting as they fight a lot.)

An area of a faction that is pvp enabled? Nope.

No, a seperate faction which has the same propertys factions such as Ithania/Deandroc etc etc. E.g factions that have everyone truced automaticly with no members inside.

Btw. maybe I should add another restriction:

  • No claim within X chunks of the requesting faction.

The only problem with this, is that it's an RP server and a PVP server. Adding a feature that stops one that anyone can have access too is a bad idea. This has been suggested many times, and rejected even more.

Thats why I added all these restrictions. People would have to manually apply for it and it is only for rp factions which in a raid would never come out anyway. The kind of faction that is generaly not involved with pvp.

Altough this might as well be a bad idea (honestly I am not sure) but I feel I gotta try out this suggestion and see the reactions and general opinions to the topic.

Thing is, PVPers in general stop RP.
This stops PVPers from stopping RP...
In all honesty, no matter what happens, someone's losing.

The only real way I could see this is if you did the standard " Schedule your rp event two weeks ahead of time thing" and the area your event was being held was claimed with said chunks, eliminating any fear of PvP.

I like the idea of having more RP hotspots outside of Regalia, however, I'm not sure this is the right way to go about it. I understand the server wants to cater to the PvP community, however, the server is flagged as an RP server. Right now, the major RP revolves around one city, while the other parts of the world are given to the PvP community. Some may disagree with this, but look at it this way. The only world where PvP is disabled is the Regalia zone, there are 7 (I think?) other worlds in the game in which PvP is enabled. For a server that is primarily flagged an RP server, it would appear to some that it caters more heavily to the PvP community. That being said, I realize that people still /technically/ can RP outside of Regalia. However, it's not entirely safe to do so for fear of Raiders and Wars. This suggestion brings a possible balance to this order, giving places for both PvP and RP within the wilderness. As it stands, there's more overall land for PvPers to have "free reign" than there is for RPers.

You can RP outside of regalia. The chances that you get raided is low. But this could heavily interrupt RP.
The main reason I am against this is that it will take more money out of the economy. The 750 regals for premium is problary going to be removed (The EULA changes). So another money sink will cause even more deflation.

The 750r bonus was removed already, as seen here.

Here is what I suggest. a group of players builds a cool looking city on a creative server. They apply to the staff to have it put into one of the worlds as a new regalian colony then it is claimed a lot like the spawn sections of each of the world and given a unique name and lore
