    • Title(s): Count of Féar Glas
  • Race: Aontaithe Ailor
  • Age: Twenty-Eight
  • Gender: Male
Core Concept
Rían is the incumbent patriarch of House Glenmore, and 8th Count of Féar Glas. He is a strong-willed character, who is courteous, friendly and sociable, however, he is often internally guarded and reserved with strangers, and very slow to show his true emotion to those he doesn't trust. He is a Unionist, though has respect for the Fornoss faithful.

Appearance Information
Rían stands at a modest, yet respectable, height and carries an athletic-muscular body build. He dons a head of wavy brown hair, with reasonably well-groomed facial hair and pale porcelain skin. His facial features are gruff and sharp with a diamond shaped jawline, whilst his eyes glisten an emerald green. Life Story / Plot Hooks
  • Rían was born in the town of Ard Croí in the province of Féar Glas, Eidda, as the first born and eldest son of Count Eóin Glenmore and his wife, Lady Niamh Glenmore. His childhood consisted primarily of physical activity, participating frequently in hunts from the age of seven, alongside wrestling and swimming from an even younger age.
  • During his late childhood, the expectations placed on Rían increased as he began to receive an education into his people's histories, laws and politics ensuring he understood the responsibility he would hold to protect them and their ways of life. It was also in this period from whence he developed a taste for combat, excelling in swordplay in both defensive and offensive stances.
  • It was not until early adolescence when Rían's focus turned towards the seas. As customary with the family, the head of the house was to be an accomplished captain and as such he received intense training in navigation and sailing before being sent to the Regalian Naval Academy in Narlas at thirteen, where he spent five years honing his knowledge and skills.
  • Throughout late adolescence, Rían continued to become an adept captain, inspiring a strange loyalty from those under his command, despite his tender age. Whilst at the academy, Rían also learnt to be more reserved and guarded with his emotions, not knowing whom he could trust as he was surrounded by strangers from all walks of life and reaches of the Empire.
  • In adulthood, Rían was suddenly thrust into taking over the reins of his family, as his father abdicated as Count following a severe injury which rendered him inert. He spent the first couple of years consolidating his position before deciding the family was stagnating and would prosper more if it dragged itself free from its isolation. Thus, he set forth for Regalia and lugged his Aontaithe-militant siblings with him to expose them to what the Empire had to offer.
