When he transforms, his skin takes on the colour and consistency of dark granite. From an onlooker’s perspective, the Altalar becomes akin to a gothic-styled Gargoyle with reptilian features. Curling horns of basalt erupt from his forehead and taper backwards along his skull into sharp points, his eyes appear to be made of polished obsidian with an icy-blue glow, and a maw of jagged stone teeth appears in place of his mouth. This beastly mouth never moves however and purely appears to be carved stone. Furthermore Rhys’ limbs thicken, and his digits grow into granite claws, with the occasional vein of obsidian coursing through his skin. His facial features are sharper and more define, with angular cheekbones and tapered jawline. Having lived most of his life in disguise as various elves, his Birth Form manifests the pointed ears of an Altalar. His eyes are slitted like a reptile's and a deep shade of violet. The Slizzar has a wide & lipless mouth often pulled into a smirk, from which his forked tongue occasionally darts out. He has no hair, though his forehead features slight cranial ridges akin to horns that taper back along his skull. Body: His natural body is lithe and toned with little to no fat present. It is coated in dark grey & black scales with varying hues of purple, lilac & indigo, and patterned similar to a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake's. Solvosszyn prefers to unfuse his tail into a pair of humanoid legs given the practicality of it & his many decades of walking on two feet. Clothing: See Glamor Form. Spoiler: Visual Information (Expanded, Glamor Form): Face: In his favoured Glamor Form, Rhysvir’s face is squarish with a narrow jaw and cleft chin, holding the youthful complexion of someone in their twenties. He has curved eyebrows under which a pair of violet eyes can be found, standing out from his darker eye sockets. His nose is straight with a gently upturned tip and set between ruddy cheeks, and his ears are gently pointed. Rhys can usually be recognised by the sly smirk that is pulled over his lips and the natural relaxed expression on his face. He keeps the coal-black hair on his head shaved down to a thin dark stubble as a measure of practicality. His beard however is well-groomed into a goatee & styled into a forked ducktail at his chin with stubble covering the rest of his cheeks and jaw. Rhysvir has a few ear piercings; notably a pair of small bronze rings hanging from his right earlobe, and on his left ear he has a beaded Nightsilver stud piercing the earlobe and a helix cuff forged from Pattara. Body: Rhys appears naturally tall and stocky with lightly tanned. He is broad-chested and has well-built arms from exercise, keeping a mildly toned physique with a low amount of body fat. He has dark brown hair coating his arms, upper chest, and legs. His left arm has several grey-green tattoos stretching from his forearm to his shoulder blades and across his upper left chest and upper back. These include be a great Sea Serpent coiling around his limb with assorted designs splitting off from it, and he likes to include new additions with each city he visits. He has no visible scars, purging them with his abilities to keep his body unmarred like polished marble. Fashion: Rhys enjoys the comfort and practicality of the Sollerian fashion. He wears a dark brown Alaanh tabard with braided golden linings and mahogany highlights, fastened at his waist with a mustard-yellow sash and silver pin. Rhys also wears a studded leather belt bedecked with small pouches and trinkets, using the sash to hide anything precious that could be snatched from him by thieves. Life Story Solvosszyn Szerassalla was born on the 15th July 192 AC in Tanaar Ivaëlle to parents who spent their time meddling in the local Altalar politics, and as such he had an isolated upbringing so that others could not witness his true nature. His parents taught him to speak Modern Altalar and gave a basic education with what they could muster. Upon turning 18 he was sent back to Sassrakkand by his parents to find a Slizzar Mentor and gain a proper education. He spent several years in the ancient city and attended the Sassrakkand Mentoring College from 210-213 AC, learning various espionage techniques & tactics. After leaving Sassrakkand in 230 AC he returned to Tanaar Ivaëlle & neighbouring Principalities. Enjoying the hedonistic and regal Teledden lifestyle, Solvosszyn glamored into the form of a Teledden and spent a few decades there studying Arcanology & Sorcery. Around 270 AC, the Slizzar booked passage to the Regalian Archipelago to expand his horizons and opportunities. He assumed the form of a Solvaan and the name Rhysvir Corlaach. With what funds he had amassed embezzling in Teled Methen, Rhys forged a persona for himself as a well-travelled scholar returned from decades of venturing abroad. Rhysvir spent a further five years learning medicine and horticulture to support his persona & open further avenues of opportunity. From there, Rhysvir studied medicine for three years at the Regalian Ecological Academy in Vultaro & earned a Doctorate. Following this, the Slizzar sank into the seedy underbelly of San Selin and offered his services in forgery, manipulation & the occult. Largely removed from the machinations of Miko Missa's court, Rhysvir was content pulling strings between criminal circles in San Selin during the Chrysant War. He eventually returned to Solleria for several years, accumulating finances and contacts in various shady organisations and politics. Rhysvir returned to the Crown Isle in the summer of 309 AC, becoming afflicted with Cahalism, and engaging in aberrant machinations during the Vampiric Occupation.
