He often goes to visit regalia and has his own ship to do so. Visual Information Body discription Standing at roughly 6'10ft and 239lbs, Rexus Dragon's head is very tall and in quite good shape, most of his muscle primarily resides in his arm's and stomach area, as he frequently works out by lifting heavy objects such as swords or axes, and working on his home or the garden and lands. He has relativly long limbs also making up for his hight, he is also very broad shouldered, though strangely enough he has pretty small feet. Rexus has a pretty standard Ailor skin Color with a slight darkish tone, a large tatoo of a black dragon head marks his right shoulder, and a couple freckles marks his arms and legs though it is rarely seen at first glance. Rexus also has a standard(perhaps a bit above) amount of body hair though mostly concentrated on his arms and legs. Head and Facial discription Rexus has semi-long black hair, and a moustache with a little goatish beard on his chin, he has very shown cheek bones and a rather sharp chin, he also has a pair of dark grayish eyes on each side of a long slightly crooked nose, he has a rather broad jaw and for some reason his teeth tend to be a bit pointy, also not visible at first glance but easily noticed if you would feel his teeth. Clothing and accessories Rexus usually wears a long leather coat, it only has one sleeve on the right, the other connecting to a shoulder-cape on the left, underneath that he wears a tight silk suit with a couple straps here and there and the Head of a black dragon head that is the symbol of the Dragon's heads broaded on the back of it. Though in the summer he likes to wear a shirt and a no-sleeved leathervest. Rexus doesn't wear jewelery as, eventhough he is a noble he likes to be able to blend in with the common folks, from witch comes the shady coat aswell, the only things to suggest he was of higher rank would be his hygiene and a couple of buttons of solid gold that mark his coats lining. Behaviour information Personality traits Honor : Rexus cares a great deal about the subject of honor, he will usually react quite aggresivly to things such as, people critizising his work badly and throwing insults to him, his friends or his family, though he has learned to adapt as he likes to blend with the common folks where the tune is a bit more.. "harsh" yet he still dissapproves greatly and will often choose to confront such insults. Protective : Rexus is a very protective soul and will defend his loved ones, friend or family, valiantly if ever attacked, this came of a very traumatizing event in witch he was unable to defend his sister from a tresspassing vampire one night. He promised himself he would never let anyone die on his watch again. Intimidating : Rexus, once agitated, would seem extremely intimidating, mostly due to his apparent muscle and hight, he could essentially make even an orc feel uneasy at the least, along with him being a fierce fighter who rarely would surrender until death or very apparent defeat, although this aspect can easily get him into uncomfortable positions in witch he would charge on even if his fellow warriors were down, leaving him with the entirety of the enemy to fight himself. Active : Rexus likes to keep himself active and as useful as possible in all situations, unlike many other nobles who likes to have their servants do physically demanding work for them, Rexus might even take it as an insult at times if a person asked if they should do it for him. Optimistic : Rexus will always tell himself and other people to look on the brightside, even if there is none he will surely have a way of consoling the person, either his warm and caring attitude or his kind uncle-ish behavior. Accountable : Rexus will never skip work or his duties unless there was no other alternative, he tries his best to be as accountable as possible to his duties to his family, friends and buissnes, he is also always very precise on dates and will be slightly offended if someone forgets a date or meeting. Past : One of Rexus's soft spots and a weakness he tries his best to ignore.. is his past. As a child his father was very abusive and often beat him, his brother and his sister, if they disobeyed him. He was very cruel to peasants and owned a larger shipping company, and in secret a small smuggling/Pirating industry too in witch he would smuggle all from slaves, to jewelery and for a friend or a close buisness partner, anything at all. When confronted with questions of his past Rexus's mood will become very depressed and will try to talk around it. Curiosity : Rexus is a very curious person and loves to explore new places, he would sometimes take a ship for month long explorations, to various locations, all from Hardar to the Northerne expanses. He has an unstopable urge to explore Aloria, and he is insistant that he will see it all before he "kicks the bucket". LIKES Honesty : Rexus likes people who are honest and say thier actual opinion when asked, and not some politician gibberish, he came to develop this trait from the immense amount of deception and lies that took place in companies and he experienced alot of it from his father who pretty much cheated himself to the top, by either having his buisness opponents go bankrupt through bribery and such, or simply having them asassinated Generousity : Rexus approves of generosity and will think of it as a very positive act to give something that you value yourself to another being, no matter appearance or species. Dislikes Vampires : Rexus nothing short of hates vampires, this is mostly due to the traumatic event of his sisters death, in witch a vampire was the purpetrator, he will usually try to engage a vampire on sight and take them to the guards, although in this matter he will take into consideration wether or not he would be able to beat, lets say it was a group of three, he could perhaps take two and maybe three if he was lucky but it wouldn't be likely for him to choose to engage, ofcourse this all depended on the situation. Cloak and Dagger : Rexus holds a certain amount of dissaproval towards all deceptional social acts, these include : Lying, murder, cheating, stealing, violence, Bribery, kidnapping and robbery, along with certain others, the grounding for this trait is mentioned in the "Honesty" Trait. Abilities And Disabilities Strengths Strength : Rexus is very fit and is also in good shape, he usually trains most days when he gets the time and therefore is likely to have more muscle mass than most people, he once arm wrestled an Orc and won. Endurance : Rexus has a very high breaking point and can sustain incredible amounts of physically challenging tasks, and will take immense amounts of punishment if he feels it is for the greater good of his cause this factor making a straight up tank. Likeable : Rexus is very likable and only few persons will dislike him, this due to his very nice attitude and that he is very repectful to more or less everyone. People would also tend to put his trust in him, yet this ofcourse depends on that persons char. Weaknesses Inagile : While Rexus "isn't" really that slow a runner, he does lack a cetain amount of agility, he also has trouble when it comes to obstacles and would struggle heavily if he was, for an example on the rooftops of regalia, he can climb in trees and al but he would't be able to climb a building either. Trusting : While this weakness might not sound very negative it is in the way that he would essentialy put his faith in other people who seem nice, he will always look for the good in people and can therefore be easy to fool at times. Protective : Rexus will always choose to surrender if the enemy has a hostage, a sure way to neutralize Rexus would be to capture one of his friends or.. well pretty much just anyone, he will never let anyone die on his watch and certaintly not civilianz. Clumsy : Rexus will have a hard time sneaking and traveling unseen first of all due to the fact that he has the body texture of an orc, and that if there is anything on the floor that is going to make alot of noice he will be sure to hit it. Combat styles Rexus's Offensive combat style : Short-Sword : Rexus will always choose to engage an enemy with his Specially crafted Short-sword, he is quite skilled with the blade and sword trainign goes under his excersise rutine, though he prefers not to fight, he always makes sure that he is prepared for hostiles. He also deploys his sword skills for a friendly sword duel and such, in his style of combat he likes to use a series of defensive strikes to get closer to his enemy physically, he will then try to kick them in the groin or punch them in the throat or stomach before sending his blade in for a fatal blow. Weapons of choice Short-sword : Rexus usually prefers to engage in combat using his specially made short-sword and is also quite skilled with the use of the blade. The Blade was forged by dwarves and the handle made specially for his grip, on each side two diffrent anti-magic runes mark the blade, engraved in the steel. In the part of the handle that leads to the blade a small gem of Lapis Lazuli can be seen, this making the blade the perfect weapon against mages and pretty much anything. Fists : Rexus, if disarmed will engage in close combat witch he is also rather good at, though he isn't a master in any martial arts or anything he /does/ know a couple moves and tackles to get the upper hand, yet he prefers to use his blade. LIFE STORY... Rexus Dragon's-Head was the first born child of his father Malgus Dragon's-Head and born the 10th of april 263AC into the family of lower nobility of Dragon's-head. Rexus grew up to be a very polite young man with strong charcter features and was never afraid to say his honest meaning, this his father liked and he always played with him and at the age of five Rexus started being taught in combat by his father. One day His mother, Valissa, entered the bedroom where Rexus and Malgus had been playing, and told of wonderful news, she was pregnant... A couple months past and everything continued its normal rutine, Rexus trained, he played and he started to explore the surrounding area, and one day his father took Rexus with him to the Golden Willow Tarvern of Regalia. This was the so far greatest experience of his life, he had a small taste of his fathers wine and he met tons of new and interesting people, his eyes very quickly fell on the Naylar of the tarvern, at first he was a bit scared as he was also rather confused about how a Lizard could be that large and speak, but after a while of speculating he put hs thoughts to rest as his father escorted him home. On the way there he fell asleep... Rexus was woken from his sleep by a horrifying scream, he heard noices and voices from his parents room, Afraid that something had happened to them he grabbed his training sword from his room and peeked in his parents room, to see his father holding his mothers now limb hand, he would close her eyes, letting her arm fall limb to the bed. His Father Cried out as the screams of two small fragile beings sounded through the hallways... After that day his father was never the same, he would spend more time in the tarvern and he never played with Rexus, he never practiced with rexus either, and when Rexus met him in the hallways he would seem very far away mentally speaking. Though time passed as always and his brother and sister Mortem and Valissa(After her mother) aged and soon learned to speak and walk, Malgus never played with them either, he let the maid and the butler raise them, and along with time passing Malgus's behavior would start to seem more and more unfriendly and aggresive. More years passed and nothing seemed to be getting any better, Rexus would be starting his teen years of 14 as his brother and sister reached 8. Rexus had taken his brother and sister under his wings, and would always stand up for them if they were scolded by their father, Rexus would play with Valissa and he would also start training sword combat with his brother Mortem, though he seemed to take a better liking of the Rapier, a more nonchalante weapon than the short-sword, yet Rexus could still throw in some tricks and maneuvers to teach his brother. They would have duels and spars frequently and they were soon very equal with both their advantages and disadvantages, his brothers being his rapiers greater range for a counter on the Short-Sword and That he was more agile than Rexus, and For rexus it was his greater muscle mass and refined technique along with him being more fast in reaction time than Mortem. Were they to duel in the present they would stand equal with Rexus getting an edge in muscle mass. His Brother would also grow up to be more like his mother, not too high a muscle mass but still very tall and a bit more... how to say?.. "Noble" than his brother in the way that he acted more like a child of nobility. One evening when he was out playing with his sister and brother near the park, they would discover an opening in the streets leading into the ground, it would radiate a horried smell and there was made a slight blockade. Eventhough Rexus was protective over his brother and sister, he was quite an explorer himself with a great curiosity for exploration and so it wasn't long before his curiousity took control of him. It was a Putrid smell that met his nostrils upon entering the sewers of Regalia, he had brought his training sword just in case. He had also brought a torch and a sharp stone, so he could create a cut in the wall, so that he would not get lost. It had been about 15minutes when he noticed a Shade following him, he turned to adress the figure, but it duck in behind a pillar. Drawing his Training blade he neared the pillar witch the figure was standing behind, he then peaked around the side of the pillar only to see.. His Sister Valissa Squeked loudly as Rexus took her by suprise, he managed to stop his swipe before hitting his little Sister. "Valissa!" Rexus exclaimed, "Im sorreee" She replied. Rexus Let out a long sigh as he grabbed her hand starting to escort her back towards the entrance, following his markings with the stone. Upon reaching the entrance they were cornered by three large figures in black robes. One of them would pull Valissa forward, while the two other would grab Rexus's arms before he could react. Attempting to fight them off he tried kicking and shaking his torso rapidly, but it was of no use, his sword had been knocked to the ground upon being grabbed. The one grabbing his sister pulled his hood down, a pair of long shapr canines showing as he digged them deep into the throat of Valissa who would now be screaming in pain and confusion. Meanwhile Rexus could do nothing but watch as another relative was slowly drained of their life. Valissa's screams would start crumbling as she was slowly drained of blood, one of the vampires holding Rexus told for the other, who's name appeared to be Fallunus, to save some for them. He felt them loosening their grip as they slowly got into an argument over who got the final bite. Rexus saw this as his chance as he used the legs of the vampires holding him, as footing for a leap towards the Vampire holding his sister, on the way he would grab the wooden-Training blade powering it through Fallunus. He would Shriek Loudly, Combusting into an inferno of fire as his heart was penetrated by the sword. Meanwhile the two others had fallen to the ground from Rexus's Leap against their legs, Rexus would penetrate the head of one of them with his sword while stepping on the neck of the other, killing them both. Rexus fell to his knees besides the limb corpse of his sister as he held her hand, tears pouring down his chins. It was still warm... Rexus never spoke of that night again, he left the scene carrying the corpse of her sister, blood flooding down his body, he found a guard witch took care of Rexus returning him to his father, calling a crew to clear the corpses, he commended Rexus for his bravery and skill. Five years passed and everything was still going downwards, his father was still drinking, and his brother had gotten really quiet after the incident. But it all took a turn for the worse once again as one night, a large group of shady looking people arrived at the estate, Malgus went out and talked to them but he was really drunk and was only making things worse. Soon talking lead to insults and insults lead to yelling, and one person, an orc attacked malgus. His house guards rushed to his aid and started fighting the opponents, meanwhile a guard and the maid who had taken care of them through their child hood entered their room from witch they had watched the scene going on in the yard. The guard and the Maid hurried them to a ship, along with a couple other crew members and the ship captain. They left off watching their childhood home and memories as they slwoly burned to the ground along with the estate. Rexus clenched his old practice sword in his hand, tears flowing down his chins as the waving flames reflected in his eyes. This was either the end. or a new beginning... The Wolf paused from feeding as it lifted its head towards the sound of a bow string. Rexus took a deepbreath before letting go of the arrow, the sharp wooden and metal projectile soared through the air with intimidating speed, as it penetrated the lower throat of the wolf, that would leap high into the air from the chock and then run around in a circle before slowing down and falling to its side, dead. It had been five years since they left off from Regalia, they had recieved word that their father was dead. over the time after the incident more and more staff and guards of The Dragon's-Head family came to the summer estate of the Dragon's-Heads where they had set off to in the firstplace. The Summer estate consisted of a decently sized mansion on the banks of Ithania, it had a vast garden filled with flowers, and a big forest surrounded the area of the mansion. Rexus had reached the age of 19 and now took his fathers place as the Head of House Dragon's-Head with his uncle Draco, as his head advisor and right hand, Atleast until his brother Mortem would come of age. Rexus and the rest of his family lived there for the next many years. Rexus also took over the shipping industry, he had their name cleared of all sorts of crime and their finances seemed to only rise. Many years passed and in 303 AC upon his 40th birthday he ventured with his brother to Regalia for the first time since the incident, he now takes frequent trips to Regalia Socializing with the common folks and Nobles of Regalia, he will usually be found hanging around the tarvern. His shipping buissnes is in its best years and everything is more or less perfect for the House of Dragon's-Head. For now atleast...
