The letters have been received for sign-up and the roster for voting is now made public. The Emperor has applied a new voting weight system where colonial realms may also vote, but their votes weigh very little compared to other lords, whose votes have been doubled. For the first time, office holders of various institutions may also vote, regardless if they already have a right to vote based on their landed titles. As per usual, the votes may be supplied in whatever order the voters deem necessary. There will only be a single voting round where votes are tallied and the winner is declared on the 23rd of September. The candidates are as followed:

  • Lord Regent Andrieu Anahera, Regency Girobalda of Alejandro Anahera
    • The Lord Regent has indicated that he aims to better the relation between the state and the colonial realms, the ones owned by his kin in particular. He also rides his votes on loyalty to the crown.
  • Kemion Alvaris, commoner
    • The Patriarch of the Alvaris family has indicated he will "help" Regalia.
  • Lord Regent Hadrian Typhonus, Regency Calemberg of Ulric Typhonus
    • The Lord Regent has indicated he wishes to maintain his son's policies in office, though aims to do so with more competency and vigor than his predecessor.
  • Earl Anton Ravenstad, Earl of Hinterlands
    • The Earl has indicated he will lead the realm with strong will in direction and purpose should he be elected.
  • Violette Coen, cousin to the Lord of Galloweg
    • Violette Coen is the only female in the line-up, indicating that she aims to focus on internal peace and securing safety in the Imperial capital instead of focusing on foreign affairs.
  • Cedric Kade, Sixth Prince of the realm, Regency Dorinn of Astrid Kade
    • Cedric Kade's entry is blank, meaning the court aren't even sure if he seriously joined the race.
  • Taenor Crawley, commoner
    • The Patriarch of the Crawley family has indicated he does not expect to win, but simply joins in to "get into Politics".
  • Lord Commander William Coen, Lord of Galloweg
    • The Lord has indicated he aims to strengthen the military power of Regalia to a new zenith and increase both efficiency and control over the Empire with the military arm.
In summary:
Names are marked to political identity in which the court sees them.
  • Andrieu Anahera is seen as the "foreign relations" choice. (Liberal)
  • Kemion Alvaris is seen as the "helping" choice. (Liberal)
  • Hadrian Typhonus is seen as the "conservative" choice. (Reactionary)
  • Anton Ravenstad is seen as the "decisiveness" choice. (Central)
  • Violette Coen is seen as the "inner peace" choice. (Social-Liberal)
  • Taenor Crawley is seen as the "losing" choice. (Central)
  • William Coen is seen as the "military" choice. (Jingoist-Reactionary)
  • Cedric Kade is seen as no choice at all. (Conservative)
All votes that follow are marked in political preference of the voter. Note, Political preference does not mean they will actually vote for the corresponding candidate. Final voting decisions are complex and rely on many factors

Remember that all NPC's that are named have their own political preference, policies, dreams, ambitions and personality. You may send a letter to them by sending a PM on the forum to me and Babayonce, and we will reply as quickly as possible. You may be able to do some research on the families on the Wiki, and some may be known to PC families in-game. Every voter votes based on a complex algorithm of factors based on the IG performance of the candidates as well as their rank, status, family, wealth, political ideas and plot powers.

Best of luck to the candidates!

Vote end result changed to 23rd of September.

I think the clear winner is Cedric Kade...How great would it be for the Arch-Chancellor to not even run for it?

No joke. Literally nobody in the noble management system knows who the earl is, and by extension nobody in character knows who the earl is since everyone says something differently.

Cedric Kade /literally/ told Faustina who the Earl would be, in front of Ulric, William Coen, Dianne, Max, Basium, Chris, Milahme and a couple other nobles, am I not right?

And the Finley incident was a voided mishap, merely a mishap during the concerto on Catcat's side, as far as I know.

Most of the IC nobility call William earl in day-to-day conversations too.

But don't mind me.

Never met William. Tyler Connel never spoke to me (or Baba for as far as I know) The internal listing is still empty. Tyler Connel is not in the Noble skype chat. You switched character some days after that event.

There were bows and introductions between Sid and Willie the night in the noble lounge Sid told Alaric not to mingle with Estella. But I approve, minor interactions. Reminds me to RP with Cedric more, if possible.

Tyler Connel is not in the Noble skype chat.

I asked the night Faustina was made regentess whether you'd need house heads or the title bearers in the chat, and I was told it'd be the former one. Reminds me to switch myself with Pariahfolk, though, now that Charlotte married.

You switched character some days after that event.

And yes, the loss of titles and the conclusion of her affairs gave Faustina the IC reason to leave, and finally a reason for me to shelve her for being too time-consuming and destructive to other characters.

I thought an IC letter wasn't required as Cedric lectured Faustina about the succession laws in front of a large number of nobles, and Faustina clearly stated that she accepted it, correcting her introduction to regentess, becoming a governor afterwards.
