Regalian Institute for the Performing Arts
- General Music Studies: Basic building blocks of music. This class teaches the basics of how to read music. It also touches lightly on music composition and piano playing.
- Advanced Music Studies: Digs deeper into the building blocks built up in General Music Studies, including advanced music reading, finding a tempo without a metronome, sight-reading, and more.
- Music and Cultural Studies: Learn what music is like across Aloria, and how it both is influenced by and influences the culture it comes from. Also studies how music plays into other religions.
- Instrument Studies: Learn to play an instrument of your choice. Some instruments are provided by the Institute, like a harp, piano, pipe organ, and other large instruments. Other instruments will need to be acquired by the student seeking to study it. Note that not all instruments can be taught, as our instructors do not cover every instrument, especially new instruments.
- Vocal Lessons: Learn to sing, including sight-reading music, and how to project your voice.
- Speech Classes: Be taught how the art of oratory, also known as public speaking. This focuses on speaking prepared speeches, debate, improvised speaking, and more.
- Acting Classes: Learn the art of bringing characters to life on stage. This covers many topics discussed in our speech classes, but focuses more on how to get into character and stay in character. It also focuses on movement.
- Dance Classes: Learn to dance, plain and simple. This mostly covers ballet, but also teaches other forms of dance.
We are looking for instructors for many of these classes. If you have knowledge in any of the above catagories, please be sure to contact Wan-Xia, Dean of the Institute, for more information about getting involved, and be prepared to demonstrate your talent in the necessary category. Salaries vary based on how often classes are taught and perceived difficulty of the class being taught.

I have opened a performing arts school at /tp tyrian premise! I plan to teach in-character classes, which will be announced when they'll take place. I hope to have classes throughout the week. Anyone interested in any particular area of study for their character, feel free to let me know below, and I'll be sure to tag you when I announce an in-character meeting for that class. You do not need to sign up prior to take part. Simply show up!
