The Regalian Event Assistance Thread The Regalian Event Assistance System is designed to make massivecraft as entertaining for you as it possibly can be when it comes to events and gameplay. We have expanded upon the traditional system of world staff assistance, and instead, now, it is also focusing the day to day events of the players. Here, you will be able to request a temporary venue construction, a teleport, temporary NPC staff characters to act as a supporting role during your event, an encounter system, and various IC and OOC assistance techniques to give your event a sprinkle of professionalism. The Encounter System is majorly similar to the D&D aspect of a dungeon master overseeing your characters actions and intentions. Event Staff will take on this role for encounter events, requesting players to roll for the outcomes of their attempted actions, twisting the scenario into a surprise ending, a shock to all involved. Anything is possible with an encounter event, be it your hunting party stumbles across a frightful scene of blood and gore, a monster has run rampant through the wilderness, or pirates take over your humble trade ship. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to these scenarios. Event staff is eager, and more than willing, to host these for you. Animals are also available upon request but will be mostly stationary. If you want to ride horses through the wilderness of Eotor on a hunting party, for example, you would need to specify this versus them being stationary for an auction. Having mentioned Eotor, we will now be extending our event assistance to this separate world. Like Regalia, you will be able to request a temporary venue construction, a teleport (/tp eotorevent), a world announce, temporary NPC support characters, etc etc. You can also request event staff play smaller roles during your events, such as freaks at a carnival, a fortune teller, or a world-famous politician giving a lecture. This will also function as the thread to apply for world staff to alter or add to existing event sites. Please note that while you can request a build at a certain location, world staff will have the ultimate control over where the build is placed and how it is arranged. A pirate crew led by the heiress of the former host of the Trouve (House Ombre) will attempt to break into the Trouve to obtain lost heirlooms, documents, and loot. What is the approximate number of people expected? Pirate crew will be between 7-9 people, guards may be up to 10-12, so a total from between 17-21. Is this a public or a private event? Public as in only Guard Charters may apply to participate; i.e. Violets, Wardens, etc. Former allies of House Ombre may have their House Guard apply as well (von Rahm) if they wish. What date? Also, there may be a better event location for you that doesn’t entail building an entire ice skating rink from scratch for one occasion. The event venue is on the road as you leave the noble park, is on the water (which can be iced over and made into an ice rink), and has a party tent. Accepted. However, I believe that the regalian museum would be a much more fitting venue than the amphitheatre. It’s an inside venue with various exhibits for your guests to take a look at after the lecture, tables for them to sit at, and a podium already made.
