"This Imperial Spirit has chosen the Emperors of Regalia as its host, as we see the world of Aloria our host. As we guide our world, so does this Imperial Spirit guide our hand to the future that lays beyond, the Great Way that will take us there"

-Excerpt from the First Creed of Unionism

As time has progresses, the Lore of the Regalian Empire's rulers started to have minor hotfixes here and there. Over time, these hotfixes started to contradict one another, until we ended up with scenarios where some Emperors were dealing with Chancellors that had died decades before, or Chancellors who were young men now having children the same age due to timeskips with the lore. In short, the timeline of the Empire started to get out of synch, and so a revision was necessary.

Effects:
  • The entire continuity of Emperor tenures has changed. While you will still see core Emperors such as Theomar and Justinian II ruling around the same years, we have also included many new Emperors, bringing the current total to 28 (Alexander I is still counted as a single Emperor with two separate reigns)
  • Likewise, the Arch Chancellors (the title given to the Kade Chancellors in the new continuity) have also been expanded, featuring 24 total rulers.
    • Some Arch Chancellors co-ruled with their brothers or wives, and several female-only tenures are featured, in order to provide a source of capable female rule throughout history.

Player Effects:
  • In terms of rp impact, minimal. Only a few characters actually mention the impact of certain rulers in backstory, of which the continuity has not broken.
  • Historian players now have a lengthy list of people they can build their rp off of. The pages offer only a small description of what each ruler did, allowing for theories to be constructed organically to fill in any gaps (or to create historical revisionism, go ham).
Finally, we want to note that with a change in timelines as lengthy as this, some pages on the wiki will see contradictory information. We will be spending the next several weeks looking through articles, fixing them where applicable, fixing redirects, etc., in order to bring everything into synch with the new timeline. Give us some time before sending in tickets via the discord, as many things still need to be fixed. But for now, enjoy the new pages.
