    Regalian Event Assistance Application

    The Regalian Event Assistance Application Thread is designed to aid players in making MassiveCraft as entertaining as it possibly can be when it comes to events and gameplay. Utilizing this thread, you’ll be able to request help from Lore and World Staff alike for various facets of your event - whether that’s temporary venue construction, a teleport, and various IC and OOC assistance techniques to give your event a sprinkle of professionalism.


    The Encounter System is majorly similar to the D&D aspect of a dungeon master overseeing your characters actions and intentions. Lore staff will take on this role for encounter events, requesting players to roll for the outcomes of their attempted actions, twisting the scenario into a surprise ending, a shock to all involved. Anything is possible with an encounter event, be it your hunting party stumbles across a frightful scene of blood and gore, a monster has run rampant through the wilderness, or pirates take over your humble trade ship. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to these scenarios. Staff is eager, and more than willing, to host these for you.


    This will also function as the thread to apply for World Staff to alter or add to existing event sites. Please note that while you can request a build at a certain location, World Staff will have the ultimate control over where the build is placed and how it is arranged.

    Players can request the following types of support to enhance their scheduled events:

    ✧ Request World Staff to complete or renovate a venue for an event.
    ✧ Request a Lore Staff member to ‘DM’ your event via an ‘Encounter System.’
    ✧ Request Staff actors to enhance the roleplay experience for all attendees.​

    We ask that you apply a minimum of two weeks prior to the event for anything that requires a new venue / building, and at least 72 hours before the event if you only need decorations added. Encounters can sometimes be done faster, depending on staff availability. If there is no response to your application, assume we are unable to meet your requests. We ask that you communicate with whichever staff member that picked up your request should they fail to reach out to you.

    When needing actors for an event, please look for played-characters before requesting staff actors -- chances are there are players willing to tend / act for your event in character.

    What would you like to have as an event?: Feast & cliff diving for anyone (commoner/noble), hosted by House Typhonus.
    What is the approximate number of people expected?: A lot.
    Is this a public or a private event?: Public.
    Will you need staff actors? If so, how many and what roles?: Beach babes? No. I don't need any staff actors.
    Will you need the use of NPCs? Which ones and why?: No.
    Will you need something built for this? If so, what?: There is a lot of water by Hostessse Village. I'd request a cliff to be made on one of these mountains OVER water, along with tables and such for eating and drinking... maybe a dance floor as it progresses into the night? Basically I just need a mounting terraformed by the village to those specifications.

    What would you like to have as an event? A traditional Burdigalan L’Aube festival, with a commercial emphasis!
    What is the approximate number of people expected? Probably 20-25? I don’t have much of a clue for an actual number.

    Will you need something built for this? If so, what? Perhaps some sort of rollercoaster, and a cleared path upon one of the hills to hold a cheese-rolling contest. Along with a podium for the winners of various contests. And a wide variety of carnival activities!

    First choice would be the area where the Ethereal Escape Masquerade occurred. The large tree and decor were all incredible and hard to forget.

    (I am not sure if you can place environmental emotes that go off when someone enters the ballroom but if so it would be very helpful to have one at the entrance that says "A mixed bowl of ornate silver pins is offered out to the guest as they enter /roll 1 2 . If you roll a 1 you receive a dog rose pin. If you roll a 2 you receive an Allachian Wolf pin.")

    Also at the entrance to the area i'd like a emote sign saying "A bowl of wooden charms were laid here of various types of animal prints. The sign saying, 'Take one.'"

    • Memorial Art Gallery can remain the same.
    • Allies of the Empire room to be changed into a "History of the Regalian Guard" exhibit. Armor stands are found in the greygate main lobby. The Violet Order Armor should be placed in the center of the hall. This allows for armor to be placed two to a direction. An ideal orientation going clockwise from entering the room is as follows:
      • vigilant & hammers
      • halberds & lo (crimson inquisition)
      • New Violet & bluesteel
    • The main exhibit hall will undergo some changes to scenery. Some things in the current exhibit may remain just as "filler junk"
      • a Replica deculvert cannon: ideally where the current war map is
      • A replica catapult, ideally near the front where the elven statue and bone horror is

    I would love to have a ratking (bunch of rats connected by tails) that have been infected by void and have some powers (like telekinesis or sorcery spells) so it is like a small boss. And if a mayor of Rothburg was the one to inform the hunters of weird rats eating out granaries and was the one to give them the job, that would be optimal. So one staff memeber to play them both I would say be enough. But if some staff want to play normal rats, they are welcome

    A lot of rats. They will be played by player volunteers. Won't be a rathunt without sea of rats.

    It would be preferable if the straight entrance was walled off and over the big hole there ot be shaky bridge, but seeing that it is less than two weeks it is not necessary

    ✧ Will you need something built for this? If so, what? Yes, I will need about 10 signs placed in various locations across Rothburg for the scavenger hunt. I have a google doc (which I will pm to whichever of event or world staff takes this) with what I need to be written on each sign, the location it should be placed in, and a screenshot of that location showing where I think the sign should be placed. Additionally, If the event house at the coordinates 5976/107/1454 could be decorated so the top floor is a dancing and party area with red and black themes while the basement has some more seating and tables and perhaps a small bar or stage that would very helpful. I would also appreciate some changes to the hiding location to optimize it for the event which I have listed at the bottom of the doc but this is already a tall order already so I understand if there just is not time.

Please keep in mind event assistance needs to be posted at least two weeks before the actual event - because of the short time period, there might not be enough staff actors available to meet your request.

    If possible we would love a few entertainers to do fire-breathing and fire dancing, around the bonfire.

    Due to not seeing a public venue that suits the idea of my event. I'd need a LARGE bonfire with banquet tables around it but not too close. Tables with food and atmosphere descriptions when you approach them (Will be getting a menu from Attic and it will be on the event post once it's finished). I also would really love perhaps a little boat out into the ocean near the event where there can be fireworks let off, by maybe a button or trigger, unless a member of staff can release them at the time. Some description signs around, one specifically asking people to be /ptime night for the event, others to describe the surroundings. I'd love a very cosy but grand atmosphere. (An Apple Bobbing tank would also be extremely good if possible! With signs of the rules). I'd say the event colour scheme would overall be reds/oranges.
