Knowing that the Crown City was one not shy from war, and her also seeing it as a place she could further train to fight in one of their many schools, which lead her to the School of Tenpenny then later Stealthmark. Her jaw has some squareness to it. Although Raja is athletic and agile, she still has some curves. Her body shape is pear-like in figure. Her body has a various scares from all the years of spars and fighting. Preferred colors for clothing are silver, white, grey, orange, black and brown. She will carry a legal sized dagger for protection unless a permit was had for a weapon she was more skilled with. She wears a pair of small gold hoop earrings. Raja can speak Common and Faraddi. Personality and Abilities By first impression, to those of nobility and possible employers, Raja is a soldier and business women. More reserved and methodical, her business mind is on. Vigilant, loyal, and disciplined she makes a good one. Raja is in general a relaxed person, staying calm in a lot of other situations others would not be. Observant, her having an attitude of only acting when necessary and in the most efficient way, she is pragmatic. To strangers, she remains guarded and proper, to make a good face for herself. Around those closer, she remains similar, though friends that get to know her will see her wit and love of banter. Raja has a serious and businesslike air about her. She is content with what skills she has learned in her life. She is confident in her abilities and outwardly with the things she is familiar with. Through going through the long process and struggles of training to become an expert fighter, she gained patience. She is certain of herself to get done what needs to be done. Raja has a dislike of magic (besides Soul) and anything void-like, and can grow suspicious around it’s users, watching them more closely. She can show compassion to those that have proven to be trusted friends. Though outwardly on the matter of herself, she tends remain reserved, more of a person to take action than to elaborate her feelings. But if asked for it and if she thinks it is something worth saying, she will give more personal advice. She thinks she must always retain her business mind, being serious for all that requires it. She may come off as cold to some. Her alignment is lawful neutral. She follows the laws because they are the smartest to follow in her eyes and she feels a sense of duty towards them. Breaking the law is bad for business and against what she would prefer. It could ruin her livelihood if it got out. She does think good is better than evil, but being the neutral her own interests and feelings are in mind first. Talents Stealthmark Expert. Certainly scarred and leaving many memories, the last fifteen years of Raja's life before coming to Regalia were working for this school in her mercenary band of six. She advanced her skill with the longsword and throwing knives, as well as learning how to efficiently use a dagger and how to sneak for missions. Qadir Combat Training. With Qadir fighting style preferring compact weapons and ranged combat over close quarters, a weapon that could be seen amongst their ranks are throwing knives; at least that is what Raja found with a pocket group of sellswords she found herself working with, and later training with on the road. In close combat however, Saqdaqs were popularly used, and this is where Raja acquired one and was trained with it. Weaknesses N/A. Relationships Spoiler Find out IC. Life Story Birth: Born on October 11, year 270 A.C, in a Qadir Hadritya as the Ahmad’s first child, her younger sister being born twelve years later. Both of her parents being the scholarly types, they pushed Raja to follow a similar and less risky path later on in life away from mercenary work, but they couldn't stop their persistent girl. Her mother a clockwork engineer, and her father a librarian in their Hadritya. Childhood: Raja’s childhood was normal. Learning the essentials and exploring her home and around. She was a a laid-back kid. Though living in the Hadritya, she enjoyed a bit of reading and 'tinkering' with the inventions she could get her hands on, having plenty of opportunities to being where she lived. Particularly liking mystery and history books when it came to reading. She learned Common after her native tongue of Faraddi, taught to read and write by her father. Teenager Years: As Raja grew older, she gained an interest in weaponry and the art of sparring. Starting by watching, and then participating in them with her little experience. She took up a job young, working as a tinkerer's apprentice that did more of assistant work than anything, though, she did learn to appreciate unique Qadir technology and weapons and gained more of an understanding of those things. When she reached age 15 with all of her money saved plus some from her parents, she made the decision to then leave Farah'deen and go to Regalia to attend the School of Tenpenny to properly train, where she stayed for two years until she reached Fighter level. Young Adulthood: The school she was left loyal to put her in shape, taught her stances, swordsmanship, military doctrine, and so on. She learned at the school for 2 years before leaving as a ripe and ready fighter at 17 to return to Farah'deen for sellsword work and briefly visit her family. This was her life, serving as a mercenary for 2 years, and oddly for a someone at her age, marriage was not on her mind, only work, business, and improving. Namely there, working as a bodyguard for a number of better off traveling merchant families and businesses. There on the road and with experience working with other sellswords hired, namely Qadir trained ones, she picked up and was trained with the Saqdaq and throwing knives; Qadir styles of combat. Her then showing them some Tenpenny techniques as a trade. Adulthood: Finally, at age 19, she decided to go back to school. Though this time, heading to the School of Stealthmark, a school for sellswords that used longswords and throwing knives that she already had training in, and had a reputation of taking in Tenpennies. Returning to training, now as one of their 'worn-swords', she made bonds with her group. Sadly, over Raja's long campaign at the school, all of her 'fresh-swords' died from her original band with their many dangerous jobs and missions. Finally, after deciding to leave the school after acquiring expert level, now at age 34 she moved back to the Crown City. Her plan to take up mercenary work again but now for a noble house, moving up she thought in her head.
I will be reviewing Raja for today. Sorry I took a short bit, my schedule changed suddenly! Remember: these criticisms are here to help you improve, not to discourage you. Place all edits in PURPLE and give me a tag when you're set! This feels slapped in. Where did this mentor come from? Were they hired, found, or was she sent to learn how to read, write, and use magic from this mentor as an overall teacher? It was even earlier mentioned that magic wasn't prevalent until later in her life. This description actually is more 'Lawful Neutral' than anything. True Neutrals will often outright refuse to take a side, whereas your soldier clearly has one since she favours good over evil. Your character sheet is really great! I can tell you've put a lot of effort into it.
