Life Story ☼ Qiyara Isilimyr is born on the 23rd of September, 235 AC, to Suvial Altalar merchants. She is the youngest of nine siblings, all of whom are afforded a relatively comfortable lifestyle due to their parents’ occupation. ☼ Most of her youth is spent idly in transit, often in caravans or on the open seas. The girl receives a decent education, though she treasures the insight and stories traded with other merchants instead. ☼ The girl discovers her talent for bartering, picking up her father’s penchant for cutthroat deals and haggling. Despite her aptitude, she finds her passion in wielding the blade. Her family’s caravan encounters an entourage of Griffer in Ithania, and she is instantly enamored by them. ☼ After numerous shows of persistence, she is eventually taken on as a student by one of the retiring women. She stays in Ithania for a while to develop a strong base for her swordsmanship, before striking off on her own. ☼ The young Suvial gains a small reputation as a travelling merchant and sellsword, honorable only in single combat, and more than willing to finagle those who would purchase from her. It’s this mindset that enables her to yearn for more power, something that would elevate her ability. ☼ From a particularly weaselly black market merchant, she learned several spells from the school of Darkness sorcery. This would assist her in more clandestine endeavors, helping her to remain out of sight. From an encounter with a cultist from the Daughters of Chaos, she learned a handful of spells from the school of Chaos. ☼ When business runs dry on land, she turns to guarding merchants and assisting smugglers. Qiyara takes on a plethora of odd jobs, in order to keep her skills honed and money rolling in. ☼ Armed with decent skills in the blade, several trusty spells, a cutthroat attitude, and several decades of experience, the woman sets out for Regalia to make her fortune.
