Pvp Q&a Thread

I got this idea from MonMarty's RP Q&A thread... This is essentially a place for people to post question about things they don't understand about PvPers and also a way to perhaps "fix" the obviously fractured community. I would like to see PvPers and RPers get along, but for that to happen, I guess I'd first need to know what the root of the problem is... That being said, MY personal question is "Why do PvPers feel that PvP is getting ignored and what do YOU think can be done to improve it?" That being said, please keep away from things like "Completely ignore RP until PvP is fixed" because this is first an RP server and secondly a PvP server... Though that doesn't mean that one should be praised above the other, both should be aware of each other.

Edit: If a question is asked, PLEASE only answer if you have an educated response and actually KNOW the answer. (For example if someone asks "Why was Bloodlust removed" please don't respond with "To make Vampires useless in PvP." that is not the reason for the removal of bloodlust, it was to reduce the amount of lag caused in wars where both sides would over use bloodlust leading to a massive amount of particles being released meaning that it would lag lesser computers)

The reason the QaA for RP was opened is because of how difficult it is to find lore on the server, and people don't really know you can helpop lore questions.

That being said, if any of the staff feel they should do this, whew, though some guidelines would be nice.

Yeah.. Guidelines do exist for PvP, however, the PvP side of the faction is not happy with this. A suggestion might be perhaps make some continents PvP only and some RP only, I'm not sure if that's even POSSIBLE, but it certainly would, in my opinion, give people what they want... You would have epic warring between kingdoms of different continents and then you would have the other kingdoms that want to improve diplomatic relationships. It would benefit everyone, however it WOULD cause a further rift between the two sides of the server..

I have a question, if you pay max tribute to a faction for the standard 70 day peace time, can another faction force you to pay tribute during the 70 day time?

If they are at war with you, I believe that they can, unless they are otherwise affiliated with the faction that you paid. For instance, if you find out that they are allies with the other faction and they were told to do it BY the other faction. So, long story short, yes they can but only if they are doing it for THEIR reasons.
