The main reason for this petetion is to at least SHORTEN the ban time.
He got banned at the moment he almost killed Lewistard an ally of WeeWoof (The admin who banned him http://prntscr.com/6fj4b6 lewistard is in the faction )

After he got banned general chat stirred up a bit. And i had a little chat with one of the admins. (http://prntscr.com/6fk367)

the staf propably had a good reason to ban said person.
i don't think this would help at all and if said person wants to come back he can alway's try to apeal his ban
 
Why SHOULD players have a say with bans though? Should someone really get unbanned just because a lot of people like them and they sign some petition?
 
@Nioxed Last I checked the discussion of banned players is against the rules, so this kinda should be locked.
If he wants to make an appeal to shorten his ban time, let him do it.

You have a voice and you misused it.

This player was banned for publicly advertising erotic actions and glorifying hugely inappropriate actions on a server that has children playing on it. Out of curiosity. If the police arrests you, do you make a petition as well to random people who know nothing of the situation to decide whether the punishment gets shortened or lengthened? Your friend in question violated several rules. The following some of which:

  • Public Channels will be moderated for offensive content. These include racist/sexist remarks, vulgar comments and offensive language in general or against other players.
  • Usage of offensive content will receive higher punishments. Instead of regular small mutes or jails, bans and more stern jails will be handed out to people for using offensive language and content in public chat channels.
  • Be respectful of other players and staff. Remember that the staff are volunteering and players play on MassiveCraft to have fun, please respect this.
  • Warnings are not a right. If you violate the rules, there is no universal law giving you the privilege of receiving a warning before a punishment. It is your responsibility to know to rules.¨
  • Mature Roleplay: You may perform mature roleplay in private, but this must always happen with OOC consent on both sides and both parties must be 18 or older. Mature roleplay with an underaged individual will result in a ban, both for the offender and the victim. Mature roleplay can be counted as erotic roleplay, or excessive gore, violence, or psychological/physical torture.
Your friend has the right to submit a ban appeal. You do not have the right to appeal to players to change the length of his ban. You yourself have also committed an offence no the forum:

  • Do not post private conversations from in-game or the forums
    • This can only be done if you have express permission from all others who were involved in the conversation, and if it does not contain any offensive content.
You did not have permission from Sevrish to post the private message log, therefor I am placing a one week forum ban on your forum account.
