I didn't realize that some guy raging and calling 80% of the server douche bags had a point either. Pardon me if I don't respond with intelligence to a thread such as this.

We just lost our most powerful protection against trolls, the fact that if you wanted to get on, you had to work hard to do it or be premium. I'm not saying that this is a bad change, it isn't, but it is a change that will take some time to develop a new equilibrium. In the midst of this, it is inevitable that we will have to say goodbye to some longstanding friends/enemies, as well as welcome new ones. I can't say that I was especially close to Protoshred, but his name has appeared consistently through the months that I have played on Massivecraft, and I honor him for the time that he has put into Massivecraft.

Was this the best way to leave? No. It is, however, better than some of those who have gone before, who left with a permanent ban. I wait for the day that someone's leaving will be more than just going inactive or a last strike to show one's anger, but a celebration of a person's contributions to the community as their life goes in a different direction.

It is kind of messed up with all the hackers and people who have the power to dose. It is not a negative environment(s) you just need to get used to the fact that there are people who are the annoying, hackers, dosers and all in all untrustworthy. People just have to recognise that.

He's allowed to have to his opinion no matter how unfounded it may be. Now I ask everyone to please stop ranting and/or being rude.
 
Well... If that is your desire... Good luck... I hope you have fun after your time on MassiveCraft. (NOTE - The Community isn't messed up all the time... Recently it's only been like 60% of the time :| It will end occationally... )

Oh no. I never knew him before 350 slots either. Or most of a lot of other people. Of course, I did know a lot of other people. Like Mecharic. And the random guy who came to me in the wilderness of Ceardia and sold me stuff.

He should stay so I can know him! I already know him better then I used too!

That's what I like about small yet large servers. 200 people and they weren't full. Good times :'(

Sorry but I would have to disagree with this. One of the major things the Massivecraft staff have been able to do is install things that prevent hacking, it is actually quite successful in this sense.
By negative environment I mean't, people would be judged on the smallest of things, reasons of why you can be agressive towards someone are justified over little things (E.g waging a war, ruining roleplay because YOU decided to raid them excessively), and the community has become a bunch of trolls, asses, swearing kids, majority of the time, who don't respect others sense of opinions or voice.
The one other quite large thing is, the Massivecraft community probably isn't HALF as big on role-play now, and specific few factions ARE known for their good role-play, which should be seen in most aspects of the game, rather then few.

I find it pretty rude to call 80% of the server douchebag's. That isn't a "opinion" it's an insult. If it were an opinion, I could walk up to anyone I wish, and say "You're a douchebag", when I'm about to be in trouble for it I can just say "It's just my opinion". All grixer did was simply ask "You mad bro?". That's not an opinion, or insult, that's a question.

Some Players get pissed of if someone calls them an "allmouth" the other one is fine with it cuz he is what he is and dont gives a fuck on other words... And Proto was long playing massivecraft, so if that is his opinion of the Server iam fine with it...

So, if someone has been playing for quite some time. In your eyes, they are able to call everyone douchebags, whereas if someone has only been playing for a few days, and they say it, it is bad? Anyway. No offence proto. But I was told about you as the server quitter... I've heard you have quit the server many times before, just to come back. That may also be a reason Grixer isn't caring, and nor do I.
