  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I write today in protest of one of the new points made in the recent decree, that being the creation of the First Contact Officer, and the rules regarding "first contact" with other peoples.

I see it as a blatant attempt to have an exclusive bunch discover the secrets or whatever else other peoples have to offer before political rivals can. Preventing folk of the Empire from venturing around is nearly impossible, as there is not much to prevent a common drifter from hopping on a boat and paddling over to wherever these people are. The threat of legal action being taken against those meaning to do so is an attempt to insert fear into unwanted parties, so that the "preferred" emissaries may have a "jump start" on whatever secrets or information these "unlogged" people have. Priority for the few, and the threat of jail for the rest.

Specifically the Sunnan Velheim people. Anybody with a brain knows who put you up to this, Lord Chancellor. No doubt the new "First Contact Officer" will favor them. Unfortunately for them, there are other Velheim in the city, and they take interest in these new people as well. The minds of these Sunnan Velheim may be malleable, so it would be very unfortunate if they were swayed to favor a certain party rather than see the forest for the trees.

Consider what is fair.
