From the desks of the Secretaries for the Magi​

The Secretaries for the Magi have seen fit to amend some restrictions and policies regarding certain aberrant groups and Sihndar. With these changes the Ministry for the Magi would also like to remind all aberrant groups that loyalty to the Empire, its laws, and a respect for peace and order are paramount should they wish to be viewed in a positive light by the State and to be granted dispensations by the Ministry for the Magi.​

In regards to Sihndar racial abilities:

Dryder shift is deemed wholly illegal.

Embrace of Tainting is deemed wholly illegal.

The Markht Lording is deemed semi-legal with the stipulation that the Khoptar is subject to the same laws as any other weapon. Should it be summoned without legal rights to carry such a weapon, the Sihndar will be subject to the same punishment as any other race found with such a weapon.

The Anth Lording is deemed legal.

The Eevth Lording is deemed legal.

The Ovolh Lording is deemed semi-legal with use being permitted for self defense or in service to the Violet Order.

The Ganth Lording is deemed legal.

The Ranth Lording is deemed legal.

The Nakh Lording is deemed semi-legal with use being permitted for self defense or in service to the Violet Order.


In regards to Isldar racial abilities:

Isldar weapon summoning is deemed semi-legal with the stipulation that the weapon is subject to the same laws as any other weapon. Should it be summoned without legal rights to carry such a weapon, the Isldar will be subject to the same punishment as any other race found with such a weapon.

In regards to Phantasma:

Phantasma are from hereon no longer subject to weekly meetings with the Guard or the Ministry for the Magi. The policies dictated by the Secretaries for the Magi are subject to change based off of the actions of aberrant groups.

In regards to any form of Special Dispensation:

Abigail Tucker has had her Special Dispensation revoked. Illegal activities and degeneracy will not be tolerated amongst those who ask for the Ministry's trust. Any aberrant who wishes to gain Special Dispensation should write to one of the Secretaries for the Magi.

In Conclusion:​

Aberrants who have been given dispensations are expected to act in a manner worthy of the Ministry's trust. Those who fail to do so will be weeded out and punished. The Ministry would also like to remind the aberrant populace that obnoxious use of magic will not be tolerated and any misuse of abilities will be subject to the strictest punishment. The Secretaries continue to work to bring an end to the demonic plague that has afflicted the Holy City and hope that in time, proper order may be restored.​

Atticus didn't often keep up with current events, but he did eventually stumble across this proclamation in particular-- namely due to the fact that his good friend was mentioned amongst the text.

He looked it over with a frown as he enjoyed his cigarette-- undoubtedly on a break outside the Hidden Dragon. As his icy blues trailed over the familiar name, a sigh slipped out from between his lips, mixed with a hint of residual smoke. With a defeated, subtle shake of his head, he flicked the butt of the cig to the snow, where it then hissed in defiance before ultimately fizzling out in a wisp of smog, dancing toward the heavens.

Atty then turned away from the bulletin board, trudged up the steps with a hand in his pocket, and returned to his shift, heart heavy. Abby already had enough to deal with as it was-- and now this? They really know how to kick you when you're down, he thought in straight-lipped silence.
