• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

POLICY CHANGE REGARDING CHAT MODERATION

What changes are we making?
From this point on, game staff will no longer be punishing name-calling in PVP chat unless it turns into hate speech, racism, sexism, discrimination, or other attacks on minorities.

Name-calling/flaming in General, Recruitment, Help, or Trade chat is still against the rules, and we will continue to punish those who consistently do so in these channels. From now on, please keep all flame in PVP chat.

Please note that any flame involved with ongoing harassment reports that are approved via the forums will still be moderated accordingly.

Why are we making these changes?
As a team, the game department has decided to utilize a more hands-off approach when moderating PVP chat. Instead of muting players for name-calling, we are instead going to encourage players to use the /ignore feature. Players will still be punished if they find ways to bypass a /ignore by doing things like naming weapons or dropping items that have been renamed. We have decided that unless the name-calling turns into hate speech, racism, or discrimination we will no longer be intervening. From now on if a player is harassing you in PVP chat with targeted name-calling, please use the /ignore [playername] command.

I was punished for this and now it's not against the rules?
We understand that this can be frustrating because some of you have been punished for this and now we are suddenly changing directions. While we cannot give you back the time spent muted or even banned, we are willing to remove these punishments from your record. To get these removed please create a ticket in-game and someone will take care of it for you.
