Aron Santorski, accompanied by Luna Levine, sailed to Drixagh in an attempt to rally support from the local tribes of the Mocktova Earldom. As soon as they hit land, they travelled inland to the tribal lands, the last remaining wild lands in the Regalian archipelago. Several hours traveling by horse over the tundra eventually paid off as they approached a roaming tribe, the Uralskavvir. The Uralskavvir were a fairly independent tribe of aggressive raiders who answered to no one. Luna Levine manages to convince the tribe's chieftain that Aron should be allowed to fight a champion for respect in Northern Mud Wrestling, like is Northern custom. Her silver tongue manages to convince the graying chieftain, and he calls for the champion to appear.
Unfortunately for Aron, when he was all dressed up in nothing but a pelt around his waist and a belt, his opponent approached. The opponent looked as large as an ogre almost, a huge man, larger than Aron had ever seen. Rippling muscles greeted him as the champion punched his fists together and got ready for the fight. Aron, though hesitant, knew his future was on the line and he got ready to fight the beast. As the chieftain gave the signal, the two clashed, though Aron felt like he had just been hit by a hammer in the face when the champion clashed with him. Aron danced around the champion for several minutes trying to figure out how he was going to defeat this massive beast. Luckily for Aron, upon the tenth evade, the noticed that the champion was missing his left big toe, therefor reasoning that his ability to balance on that foot was barely non existent. Aron used what little weight he could muster up against the champion to cause him to lean on his left leg to Aron then quickly kicked against his foot and managed to throw the man on his side, with Aron landing on top. That signalled his victory of this tribe's champion, but not necessarily their support. After some consultation with the tribe elders, the chieftain came out to say that they had regained the respect for the Santorski family as a strong family of Drixagh and a rightful ruler of might.
After exchanging friendly conversation, Aron and Luna made way and traveled inland more. After two more days, they met the Skaadi-Eesta tribe, a passive tribe loyal to the Zastorzy family. Knowing it might be a challenge, Aron allowed Luna to speak to them. With her swift talking, the Skaadi-Eesta willingly agreed to have Aron fight a champion in Northerne mud wrestling. The next morning, he was placed against the son of this particular tribe's chieftain, who was a considerably skilled hunter. Aron circled around his opponent, looking for the hunter's weakness. He positioned himself to the east, where the sun was rising. As it rose, his opponent was temporarily blinded. It was then that Aron struck. He swiped his right forearm towards the hunter's calves, knocking him onto his behind. In a bold and daring move, Aron finished him by holding his arm above his head, jumping, and driving it straight into the hunter's stomach. With a very strained exhalation of disgusting smelling breath, the hunter was defeated. This was an intimidating victory without a doubt, and the chieftain of this passive tribe willingly agreed to recognize Aron as a strong man of the north, and a true warrior.
Smirking madly, Aron walked away from the feeble tribe, feeling incredibly confident in his ability. Why shouldn't he? He was two thirds of the way done in his trip, and thus far it was an utter success. He and Luna began their journey to the final tribe: The Ptrovlasko. This tribe was known as an aggressive tribe of uncivilized savages. Aron thought that if he could convince this tribe to support him, his forces would be strong enough to take the title of the Duchy of Drixagh. After a confusing conversation between the barbarians, the chieftain, amused and lacking any interesting form of entertainment, decided to allow Aron to fight one of his "standard" warriors. Aron deemed the Ptrovlasko warrior as no threat at all; Aron was bigger, his confidence was inflated, and he had an attractive woman watching him. Unfortunately for Aron, the wrestling circle was near a patch of ice. As Aron placed his left foot back to begin a charge towards the warrior, it landed on a frictionless sheet. Aron took a tumble, landing firmly on his behind, leaving a reasonable bruise. The warrior grabbed his food, dragging Aron through the mud. Struggling but failing to make any sort of ground in wrestling free of the Ptrovlasko's grasp, Aron found his right arm and left leg stretched to the point of hyperextension, a clear and obvious defeat. He limped off to the side, while Luna attempted to recover for him. She told the chieftain that Aron had a coalition of ten tribes behind him, and that he could easily be destroyed. The skeptical tribe leader agreed to support Aron despite his failure, due to the fact that injuring the March could be taken as an insult. Luna ended up carrying Aron back to a fishing village, where they received assistance from a carp fisher.

An old, decrepit woman hobbled through the Duke Zastorzy's hall. Kneeling at the foot of his chair, she spoke of the grand champion Santorski, and how he defeated a part ogre, part mountain, part Ailor man.
