Willowy in stature, and standing at roughly 6'3", the 'Altalar' is well-groomed when it comes to his appearance, bearing long platinum blond hair, and a warm hazel gaze. His features are considerably sharp and angular overall, with defined and expressive brows, and piercing eyes. 「x」 Penn's crimson shift materializes as what is essentially a more dramatized version of himself, appearing more as a guised individual of the theater, with scaled and feathered limbs. His features are replaced by a porcelain mask with pale, flesh-toned sheen, long-lashed black eyes carved in with a pair of wide, smiling lips placed just beneath. A notable thing about this mask however, is that there is no strap holding it in place, instead a pair of stitching's around it's rim that keep it bound to the skin, the figure's complexion beneath the mask now violently pale, and close to a stark white tone. Still possessing elven ears that poke out from behind the mask, the build of Penn's shift is that of a warped, gangly individual, his limbs now thin and elongated, with peacock feathers poking out from his wrists and neat talons poking out from his nailbeds. His neck is coated with a thin layer of teal scales that lead up the skin, but otherwise- not much flesh of his is exposed, due to the dramatic garments he possesses in this form, which on some sections seem bound to it as if it's but mere flesh itself in the form of cloth. Dark-colored pants trail off down the legs, before blending into thin, black-feathered ankles, his feet now warped more like that of a bird, but with the limbs pulled close to resemble more of a heeled shoe-like form. Upon attempt of removing this sewn-in mask, one would find the lankily built man to possess seemingly.. blurred features. Instead of a face, it's more of a deep mess of black scribbles, leaving his true visage rather indecipherable and puzzling, as though it doesn't really exist. 「x」 {|ʟɪғᴇ - sᴛᴏʀʏ]} » Penn was born alongside his twin sibling in the settlement of Mavaal Assaleïa. The young Slizzar, brought into the world guised as a Fin’ullen, was the result of a ‘fling of passion’ between his father, a retired swordsman, and his mother, a Slizzar woman who’d adopted the persona of a Teledden for quite some bit. It was soon after his birth however that his mother fled with his sibling, leaving his father to raise him on his lonesome. » Growing up spending most of his early life assisting his father with whatever labor needed to be done at home, the family eventually uproots, intending to travel the seas for a change of pace. The pair eventually stop at Hallonq with his father intending to sell what fish they'd acquired overseas, in addition to doing other general business. In this mean-time, Penn for the first time in his life, obtains a rather close friend. » Penn is introduced to his new friend's group of associates, however things soon turn for the worse, as what initially seemed to be the typical behavior for a group of rowdy kids, rapidly seemed more and more criminal by the day. Eventually, this only continues to turn for the worse, eventually resolving in Penn being grievously injured after a long series of unfortunate events. The only one who arrives to his rescue ends up to be a man who also seals his questionable future, prompting him with a deal that'd drastically change the course of his life. » A good few years into his new employment in a travelling circus, Penn is left to confront a nerve-wracking truth, confronted with the reality of his heritage. He fully envelops himself into his work, finds companionship in an Altalar woman named Esiyae, and eventually down the rocky road, finds himself infected at the hands of his troupe leader. » Eventually, upon meet of one Ashenvarya Sylfina at one of his performances, his contract is rerouted into their hands, performing alongside them instead, and travelling to Regalia as enough time has passed.

Updated this bad boy for both the Altalar update, and the proficiency update. Adjusted his profs, fixed his height to new Fin'ullen limits, and also rewrote the first six points of his life-story up until the circus stuff so that it worked better with updates. Yeehaw. @BillyTheScruffy So, a bit of a big update. Finally made the leap and did something I've been considering for a bit, and made the character a Slizzar by birth. There were a few things that were bothering me beforehand with keeping the character as an actual Altalar, and I overall decided that it felt a lot more logical with how I was playing him as a character, and with the direction I had been taking him. As for edits made to the app, they're all colored in this shade of green, and mostly consist of the following- Adjusted proficiency points due to the racial bonus being different, which essentially was just me swapping it onto Linguistics, instead of Bodycare. Also redacted a singular point from cooking arts, since Linguistics was previously a +9 point investment, so that needed to be accounted for so I could move over the bonus properly. Yeah. Adjusted languages. Added Zzasta as parental language, moved Modern Altalar and Daendroquin into being the two free Slizzar languages, and added Kathar Altalar into the linguistics batch to replace what was previously being invested for Daendroquin. Replaced two of the Alais Vampire Mutations, purely because they .. became very redundant because of Slizzar. [Previously was Crimson Dressage and Crimson Reflection.] Updated backstory accordingly. Updated appearance accordingly. Very tiny detail, but.. just fixed 'Pansexual' to 'Panromantic.' Just because it was. More accurate, so, y'know.
