Because the tensions of the world are beginning to boil, whilst the ones in charge proclaim it handled. And consider a mass slaughter and forced "Curing" of the afflicted a justifiable thing, that they seem to claim wont cause a second Vampire Crisis. All sides stand to suffer from this needless hunt, as much as some may claim its for the greater good. Killing all afflicted is statistically impossible. Our Goals We seek to prevent another Crisis from occurring by encouraging Regalia to take wise and Rational action, rather than a rage and vengeance fueled crusade which many have begun to consider. All afflicted deserve a place like Crookback once was to reside, Rather than having to cower in the sewers, and other places outside of civilization. People deserve a greater say in crookback than present. The abrupt removal of Crookback Council members who had different views than the leading party is something we consider absolutely disgusting, and something that should be resolved. Our Message We seek to bring attention to the suffering, and the Downtrodden who are overlooked with the excuse of considering them Unholy as well as Extension, Or in this case, Addition of Aberrant Rights, considering the recent Robbery of them Crookback issued. We wish to ensure that all parties in regalia are treated with the respect they deserve, and that there is less of a reason for the Downtrodden to turn to crime, or full-blown rebellion, with the Recognition of their rights at least in a Selected District of Regalia or Returned to Crookback. The one who says the message, and the one who started the movement. Their role is to ensure that the demands are reached, and Regalia is made a better place. Known only by this name, keeping their true identity as secret as they can to deter and prevent Regalian Persecution or Bounty Hunters. They are not invincible however. The Successor Current: None The Sucessor is a Peacekeeper that shows promise, a strong belief of peace and prosperity. They are the one who is the closest to the Peacekeepers Ideals. And should the Peacekeeper die, They shall become the new peacekeeper. They are entrusted with continuing to rally the cause even in the event of the Peacekeepers capture/death. This role can change person at any time, according to The Peacekeepers Whim. Martyrs Anyone can Be this Rank (But will you?) Martyrs are those who are truly Heroes for the cause. Going above and beyond what is required to bring about a Golden Age for regalia, or die trying. Martyrs are the Equivalent to other factions fighters or warriors. These are the ones who speak out openly, and when situations turn bad. They stand their ground if there's ground to protect. Protecting everyone they can without causing bloodshed. Using themselves, or shields to protect the innocent, or afflicted. They risk their lives valiantly for the cause, welcoming peace and protection. And avoiding the temptation to kill or badly harm those who would continue to wrong the Afflicted or the Peacekeepers for their own causes. They are the ones who will lead speeches, meetings, gatherings, and parties to garner support. Messengers Anyone can Be this Rank Ever heard the phrase dont shoot the messenger with a crossbow? Its an unfortunate truth those against our cause have not. Messengers are entrusted with spreading the word through more grandiose means. Planting flowers in the shape of our symbol. Putting Banners and Posters up everywhere. Actively preaching and saying the Peacekeepers message to Regalians. You risk your life at every turn as a messenger, and are thus expected to Wear a Peacekeeper Mask, and put Self Preservation over dying a Martyr. You are the Front line of the Peacekeepers. You are the ones who ensure our message does not fall on death ears. Banners Anyone can Be this Rank Banners are those who show the Peacekeeper Logo off. They put it in any places they own, and occasionally wear the badge upon themselves. They are not afraid to admit that they support the cause, and place the banner of the peacekeeper, and other Insignia around with Pride and Honor. Whispers Anyone can Be this Rank Speakers are just below Messenger, They are those who do not go out of their way to mask up, and put posters all over. But simply through passing words, and talking to others, Mention the peacekeepers cause favoribly in conversation. You may not risk your lives as much as the Messengers, But you too, will help the cause greatly. Anonymity and not explicity stating you're part of the cause is recommended.
