Backstory
There was once a child born amidst a realm at war, who'd come to know much death in his life. I speak of ages long past, when the hand that spun the thread of the world was elven, for yet they were masters, in their boredrom and excesses, the elves had turned against one another, with mages and Archmages ravaging the lands. Her mother, named Sinnavei, in honour to the goddess, who was a renowned marshal at the time, albeit of humble origins, married to the Leial Allornen Bel-Ant family, mainly recognized by their roles as naval officers. The Leial were being courted by plenty of ambitious warlord, who needed ships and armies loyal to themselves in order to achieve their nefarious plans, but these were attempts courted time and time again by the words of Sinnavei, who held great friendship with the Leial Matriarch. Such was her devotion to the empress, for Sinnavei had been born and raised in the age prior to the Mage Wars, and had briefly known of long-lost beauties of the Allorn in her youth.
Sinnavei had had three children by then, two already lost by the gears of war, and many thought her barren- Till it was one night, that held an encounter with a beast, who arrived amidst beautiful stars, who'd reveal himself as Loyalty of the Arken- He'd been touched by Sinnavei's consistant defiances to those who sought the harm of the Empire. It was many moons and nights that the demon and the mortal spoke, eventually joined by the husband, for Sinnavei sought not to betray her love- As weeks passed, the three eventually had a night of passion, from which Orrësior was born, in a date that modern scholars would put roughly around 1097 years before the Cataclysm.
In his youth, then not much can be stated about Orrësior. He was adopted into the Leial family, for the devastations of the Age they were in had caused them the loss of many of their numbers from the conflict traitorous mages brought. He fought in plenty of conflicts, slowly growing and developing his own skills and tactics. He was raised in utmost faith to Estelley and to the Allorn Empire, it's customs, and it's traditions, and it's ways. Absolute loyalty to the state, for the state could do no wrong- Yet tragedy could. Sinnavei would die around the first century of Orrësior's birth, after a clash against a particularly cruel mage, and while he'd not lose his statues as a Leial, the loss would be felt forevermore- In fact, that loss was what lead him to forever uphold the vision of his mother, and one day bring back for the elves, an age as beautiful she often spoke of.
Of his adulthood, more matters can be spoken of- The Arkenborn fought against those that would become the Isldar, for the sake of the Empress against a man as vile and reviled as was Prince Varendracar, catching sight of his and the monstrous Gaia's falling at the Battle of the Singing Stones. Regardless, as centuries passed, Orrësior barely rose along the military ranks, for Imperial bureacracy was dead. However, there were still instances of joy and happiness, Orrësior married six times throughout the millenia between his birth and the collapse of the Empire, and six times he lost his wife, four due to the wars of the Mages, two due the conflicts that occured in the lead up to the Cataclysm, and the last one to the End of All- For she rode alongside the last Empress, and was lost forevermore. After this, Orrësior has not married anymore, but he has sired plenty of descendants, many who bicker for his favour, despite his continued attempts to enforce loyalty and comraderie between all branches. [To be expanded, potentially.]
On his end, Orrësior was trapped on the east, forced to direct his forces against Selvath, Kathar, Eronidas, and Suvial all around, and was grievously wounded, by luck or disgrace- Forced to retreat back to Finul territories. This, in turn, saved him by a matter of month from being present at the sundering of lands, and not suffering at the worst events of the Wildering. It took time to recover, and once he had, it took longer still for the situation on the continent to stabilize. By the time he managed to reach the city's remnants with his forces, the Eronidas had long sacked it, and his heart sank at the desolation brought by the Allorn enemies. But Orrësior would not allow himself for all to wash away- He was much loyal to the Empire, and his heart steadied, and his resolve did as well, and he allowed his urges in Loyalty to take hold for the trials to come. He offered his strength to the cabal of the Blue Moon Society, joining forces with what would come to become the Neo-Allorn.
The three centuries after the Cataclysm were the harshest, for often, he was key in defending the capital from the surrounding warlords, often with barely enough loyalist troops to go by. Not only that, but many were the urges to butcher those in the Blue Moon Society who he felt proved less than total devotion to the cause. For the others, he was a feared as a monstrous barbarian who they tolerated only due to his martial ability, and often, had to deal to his pressure to end self-serving actions. A tenous, three-century long partner-ship, held by bare threads. But the winds of fate would align themselves eventually into something proper, with the restoration of the Allorn, a shift would finally come into place- The Blue Moon Society went from a powerless organization, to a powerful order running the reborn empire, in less than a decade's time- But this has shifted the balance of power, allowing the members of the society to sideline him, more and more, for Orrësior is seen as a relic of the past, more loyal to the Empress than the Blue Moon.
Now, the Allorn's eye falls to Aironia- And with it, a mission befalls Orrësior, one that will make or break his presence- He has been sent over to Corontium, especifically, Regalia, in a mission to radicalize the Nelfin abroad, and pressure the Regalian Empire from within to abandon the Tierraveran territories. It removes a pro-Empress presence from the court, it allows the Allorn to have plausible deniability from any of his actions (for there's no trace of them in this scheme, as Orrësior is not that wildly popular or known about) and it is a way of gaining loyal voices within the Ailor realm. For Orrësior, he is well aware of what this is, nothing short of a suicide mission. Yet, he treads onwards, for if he suceeds, he fully intends to shift this victory as one for the Empress, and not the society. He is old after all, and has less than a century left. Best to go out in a blaze of glory, proving his devotion to those glorious days before the Mage Wars that his mother used to speak about, and bring those ideals back.
