Due to the recent and upcoming change in skills, the School of Viridian has become the main combat school of the Emperor, Cedromar Kade. I've always made it a point to make combat schools be something that unifies people, so I'd like to establish some sort of understand for other Viridians. Firstly, let's examine a point about Viridians:
  • Viridians numbered to roughly 400 before their destruction, now being roughly less than 60.
  • Viridians are Viridians for life, spending a lot of time at the Viridian Castle and likely seeing each Viridian at least by face, if not getting to know them by name or by title.
  • Every Viridian has a title, for example: Joshua the Tower Knight, Thomas the Lion Knight, Alexander the Dragon Knight, etc.
  • Viridians are often sent on missions together with other Viridians who are strangers, this is a great vessel for RP connections.
  • Viridians enter the school at age 10 (new in the new system) and graduate after 10 years (so at age 20). Keep this in mind when writing.
With this all in mind, I wanted to produce a common registry to help other Viridian Characters form opinions of other Viridian characters before roleplay even commences. This thread is, as such, not an official order thread, but more-so an attempt to gather information on as many active Viridian Characters as possible, and to figure out the relationships between them, even if they are as insignificant as a single face to face meeting.

Keep in mind, this thread is not maintained. It is purely meant to be used for other Viridians to read to perspective their own opinions on other Viridian Characters. I will not maintain the first post, or make a collection post.

  • As a Viridian Cedric was:
    • During Training: Disobedient, callous and rejecting of authority. Constantly challenging the Elders and the established norm and frequently getting punished for it. While lashings weren't applied (on account of him being a Kade) he frequently spent time in stocks.
    • Towards other Trainees: Disregarding, or lacking of interest in their performances or positions. He rather always challenged the older Trainees or Paladins even though he himself was severely underskilled.
    • Towards Paladins: Disrespecting their position, authority and skill, frequently being boisterous towards them and challenging them to fights even though he was far outclassed by them.
    • Probably one of the most notoriously rebellious Knight Trainees who was kept on just for being a Kade because the Viridian Order could not afford to irritate a major political player and financing partner who placed numerous bribes on the Order to even get Cedromar accepted at his short manlet stature.
  • Cedromar's Knightly title was Cedromar the Fury Knight
Cedromar was eventually either expelled or resigned from the Viridian Order in 295 AC, the circumstances remain unclear to this day as House Kade put the whole situation in a cover-up affair. He effectively disappeared from the public eye after his disappearance from the Viridian Order and re-appeared in 302 AC to fight in the Elven war in the Viridian technique, but without the armor and on the front lines. His disappearance in 305 AC would have likely been a topic of conversation, since removals from the Viridian Order rarely happen and since he was a Kade, which was a big deal at the time.

    • Yes (He was seen leading Ravenstad troops on the front lines, then cutting down Bone Horrors long after the call was given to retreat, making him one of the last to leave on the boats.)
  • How was your character during training? How did they interact with other Viridians? How did they interact specifically with trainees? How did they interact specifically with the Paladins? How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • During Training: Percival was a model Viridian in training. In fact, he was far-too obedient to his overseers, and even was slightly picked on by other trainees at a young age for how much of a "teacher's pet" he was. As he progressed through training, it was clear he identified with the Code of Charlemois to the point of it being tied into his being, but still suffered from a dependence on being ordered what to do by his superiors.
    • With Trainees: To other trainees, Percival didn't interact much, other than a choice few from time to time. He strictly followed his orders and enthusiastically took to training, but scarcely interacted with people. Not to say he was shy, but just flat out ignored people for unknown reasons.
    • With Paladins: Percy was beyond obedient to his superiors, if not worshiping of them. They were the embodiment of his goals, and he constantly took after them, asked for pointers and tips, and stuck to their sides.
    • With Elders: Despite his respect to the hierarchy, Percival had odd troubles with the Elders. This isn't to say he disrespected them, but he had clear grievances with those people around the age of his own father. In that respect, as a trainee, Percival actively avoided and shied away from the Elders.
On the Subject of the Name: He was a very silent and brooding knight who loved his honour code but never interacted with people. Most other knights found him "As depressing as Elladorian Winter", which spurred the name "The Knight of Winter" or, "The Winter Knight".

On the Subject of Recent Times: Around 303 AC, Percival's honourable intentions and strict Viridian adherence seemed to evaporate, in the eyes of other knights. Despite never being removed from the Order, Percival used his martial skill to his own merit in leading Ravenstad troops headfirst into battles, yet began actively rejecting his honour code for unknown reasons. It wasn't until 306 AC did this cease, as suddenly, the man began actively rebuilding his sense of honour, very publicly, and vocalizing his mistakes and regrets.

  • Character Name: Aronne dei Veleno
  • Knightly Name: Aronne the Guardian Knight
  • Given to him because he prioritized keeping others safe and getting the weak or injured out of dangerous situations, and otherwise showing selfless, protective treatment to others.
  • Character age (currently): 29
  • Year of entry training: 287 AC
  • Year of graduation: 297 AC
  • Did they participate in the Chrysant War? No.
  • Did they participate in the Ranger Crisis? No.
  • Did they participate in the First Elven War? Yes.
  • Did they participate in the Songaskian War? No, preoccupied with family duties.
  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields? No.
  • How was your character during training? How did they interact with other Viridians? How did they interact specifically with trainees? How did they interact specifically with the Paladins? How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
- During training, Aronne practically ate up the combat aspect of the Order, but found himself incredibly bored with the etiquette portion. Nonetheless, he pushed forward and did his best in all areas of it, doing his best not to let the boredom show in front of superiors. Around age 15-16, he hit a slump in which he realized everything he was missing out on from spending a decade of his life cooped up in the castle and became more irritable, losing several friends from the sudden change in demeanor, but was soon able to get his act together. Once he did so, he was able to form strong friendships with most of the classmates around his age, though most of them died during Freya Lo's occupation.
- With the other trainees, Aronne was quick to socialize and make friends, though not everyone appreciated the over-zealous attitude he had towards the School's teachings. He lost some of this goodwill during the middle of his training when he grew dissatisfied with his current life, but for the most part was able to win this back by dedicating himself more.
- Though for his first year he had trouble adapting to the strict and no-nonsense system of the School, he was quick to learn his place and grant the Paladins the respect they deserved. Although, he had trouble finding a balance between respect and honesty, something that he still struggles with. He did feel a bit uncomfortable around the older Paladins, so he tended not to speak to them unless he had to or they did first.
- Aronne always seemed to look up to the Elders, though to a lesser extent than the Paladins who he saw as still in their prime. Other than that, he maintained absolute respect, save for the first year and a brief time in the middle of his training.
Overall, Aronne's second half of his time at the School (292-297) was a time of intense focus and dedication to training and following the Code, while still trying to avoid being a lap dog, and to make friends with the other trainees. Though people may have been put off by his initial behavior when he joined the Order and his short time of near -rebellion, he did everything he could to redeem himself and make it right.

  • Theodore Wolfgang Artiemus
  • 30 Years Old
  • 285 A.C.
  • 295 A.C.
  • Did they participate in the Chrysant War?
    • No. His father, Alaric, a Viridian, did. Theodore was starting training at this time.
  • Did they participate in the Ranger Crisis?
    • Yes. This was Theodore's first deployment.
  • Did they participate in the First Elven War?
    • Yes. Theodore and his father Alaric participated.
  • Did they participate in the Songaskian War?
    • Yes. This was a major turning point for Theodore. Him and his father, Alaric, fought during the occupation all over the Empire till Alaric was injured; a wound thst cost him his combat ability. Theodore assumed role as family patriarch after, and as a Paladin in the viridian order. Know as "The Wulf of Altenburg" or simply Theodore the Wulf Knight.
  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields?
    • Yes. Theodore was seen aiding men to their ships after the battle turned for the worst, being injured in the process. He remained so till just before the final days of Freya Lo.
  • How was your character during training?
    • Shy at first. As he aged and progressed, displaying efficient and determined behavior. His nature was levelheaded and resilent with a tenacity for leadership and selflessness as his family morals were heavily held to those of the Viridians, preparing him for such.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians?
    • With a sense of brotherhood. While disciplined, he was also seen as a joy to a day, a light to guide the way in the dark.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?
    • Theodore had three key ways he came off to people.
    1. Efficient fighter/consistently training-pushing himself.
    2. Brotherly.
    3. Two faced (One moment he's able to jest and be merry, the next, he's efficiently and maturely conducting business or fighting. The transition is so sudden, and professional, it displays why he holds his rank of Paladin.)
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?
    • Theodore looked up to them. His own father was a Paladin. He had a reputation for training vigorously to duel them abd earn his place amongst them. In time, Theo became the very thing he looked up to, a Paladin.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • Strangely enough, with conflict. Theodore started to be exposed to the educational side of his family, and his ideals wavered to a more neutral stance, not entirely selfless, but to a "What is best for the Empire" mindset. This nearly got him removed, though once obtaining the rank of Paladin, he'd keep to himself.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • "The Wulf of Altenburg" or simply, Theodore the Wulf Knight.

  • How was your character during training? How did they interact with other Viridians? How did they interact specifically with trainees? How did they interact specifically with the Paladins? How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • During Training: Commitment to an extreme. He embodied the tenet of Zielstrebigkeit to a key, going above and beyond to prove himself among his peers. While not the most skilled, his single-minded nature had him spending hours on end training even when it was not expected of him, constantly striving to better himself.
    • With Trainees: Viewing camaraderie as paramount to the romantic view of knighthood instilled into him as a boy, he was always eager to engage in friendly rivalry with most any who would humor him. He was notable among his circle of peers for being noisy and having a broad, crude sense of humor.
    • With Paladins/Elders: His formative years saw a stern upbringing typical of the Leutz. As a result, he regarded his betters with the same respect given to blood elders - quiet deference. To him, his superiors were paragons of knightly virtue, deserving of praise as well as the admiration of aspiring trainees.
Present in numerous military conflicts post-Chrysant War era, Folcard remained strict in his adherence to the code of Hohe Ehre and endeavored to serve both family and nation on the field of battle beneath the high banner of the Viridian Order. In the latter months of 305 AC, his integrity came into question following his flight from Brissiaud as a result of illness and his cousin's contest of title and subsequent march into the Hinterlands. He has since reemerged, though somber spirits have seen him brought low as he struggles to recover from the wounds dealt to his honour by his own flesh and blood.

  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields? No
  • How was your character during training? While competent and focused in his training, Frederico was far too blunt and open in the way he spoke, often getting into trouble for not maintaining courtesy. He couldn't learn how to hold his tongue or patience, arguing with his superiors time and again while punished after every one of these instances.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians/trainees? Frederico tended to get along with the other trainees and peers at the Viridian castle, but his open voice could lead him to butting heads with others there. He would never attempt reconciliation for anything he said out of pride until his later years.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins/Elders? Frederico initially chafed under the strict rules of obedience and etiquette set out by the Paladins, often letting his pride lead him into conflict with his superiors. His behavior improved some after an incident with Paldin instructors where he was nearly removed from the Order, and he kept from major disciplinary issues until graduation.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have? Frederico the Bull Knight
Frederico remained in Vultaro for half a year following the Andrieu Crisis before coming to Regalia, reignited in his arrogance and contempt at those he felt had destroyed his home. He would initially help the Loyalists in the beginning of the Lo-Deathling Uprising, but feeling that the Regalia cause was lost and also out of selfish intent, bent the knee to and collaborated with Freya Lo. The fall of the Viridian castle and the events following the end of the Lo Uprising weighed on him as a reminder of cowardice and foolishness, resulting in abandonment of his flagrant stubbornness to instead becoming more pragmatic and calm as a better example for younger knights.

  • During Training: Henri was a decent student, being more attentive than some of the other trainees and actively pushing himself to go above and beyond.
  • With other Viridans: To other Viridans, he was often closed out of the inner circles and cliques that the knights formed on account of his social caste, upbringing, and his hot headed temper.
  • With other trainees: He was a good target for bulling while training, anything and everything was vilified about him. He didn't have blue blood, he studied harder than everyone else, and his temper was well out of control.
  • With the Elders and Paladins: He mostly bled into the background, he wasn't a model trainee nor was he a flunky he was there. On the off chance he was noticed by his superiors it was because of a disciplinary reason. His temper let him to lash out and pick fights with those around him, especially the other trainees.

  • How was your character during training?
    • Soft spoken, rather than be aggressive as others in the training process were, Harald opted for a more defensive approach to his combat. His etiquette and courtly trainings were the most promising as he was eloquent and soft spoken in that regard.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians?
    • He was an outlier to them, rather than looking for tournaments and training to be the glory soldiers of the backline, Harald devoted his time in viewing military formations and strategy, separating himself in their ranks as a preparation for leading ground troops instead.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?
    • He would look down upon their tendencies to become overeager to obtain glory upon graduation. While he still saw them as his comrades and equals, he did not share their sentiments of glory, instead being quiet and distant to them.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?
    • He had high respects to the Paladins, though he questioned their reasons for being knights. Similar to how he interacts with other Viridians, he was distant to them as glory seekers, but respected the more faithful and virtuous paladins.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • With the highest or respects. Most of his time was spent with the Elders, asking questions on the assignments that were to be carried out as well as the general battle plans involving the knights. This presented him as being a suck up to the highest authorities, but also being more focused on the martial deployment that comes with knighthood.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • Due to frequent visitations to Ithania and spending frequent amounts of time with the Elders of Ithanian decent, whenever Harald would travel to Ithania, he would be gifted flowers by the women, despite his Alt-Regalian heritage that would normally differ from these types of courts. As such he became known as the Flower Knight, simplified to referring to Harald as "Flowers" in casual conversation.

  • Did they participate in the Chrysant War?
    • Yes, lead a small detachment of knights through the majority of the war, most notably during the Final Campaign.
  • Did they participate in the Ranger Crisis?
    • No, he had returned to the Empire in order to study other disciplines in between tours.
  • Did they participate in the First Elven War?
    • No, was occupied with studies in the Empire.
  • Did they participate in the Songaskian War?
    • Yes, he participated most notably during the Hadravian War that marked the final stage of the Songaskian War.
  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields?
    • Yes, he again was leading a detachment of knights, of only which a handful survived.
  • As a Viridian...
    • During his training:
Wulfram initially struggled with using both the sword and shield as a paired set, eventually growing past this. He held great respect for the school and all it offered, deferring to the judgement of elder knights more often than not.
    • Towards Trainees:
Wulfram viewed the other trainees as his brothers-in-arms, doing his best to help them overcome the various hurdles they encountered, believing wholeheartedly that selfless service was the only way to further humanum.
    • Towards other Viridians/Paladins/Elders:
Due to his upper lower class heritage, Wulfram saw the Paladins and other graduated Knights as seasoned warriors and valuable wells of knowledge, striving to learn what he could. He deferred to nearly every command given by higher ups save for a few occasions early in his tutelage.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • The Badger Knight or Ser Wulfram the Feral
Wulfram's title came from his ferocity in battle, most notably during the Arloran invasion when during the melee his sword snapped due to poor maintenance. As a result, he was forced to search for weapons among the fallen, using his broken sword, hands, and even teeth as weapons in the meantime. By the battle's end and the Regalian retreat, Wulfram's face was nearly covered in blood from his wounds, the heated close quarters combat, and from his usage of his own teeth to bite enemies during grapples.

Axelric initially hated the hierarchy of the castle, improving over time he'd grow to accept the ideals of fighting for faith rather than for a country. He'd perform mediocre in his training, never seeming to want to push himself.
    • Towards Trainees:
Axel had little troubles with socializing with the other trainees, treating each one with as much respect as they'd show him. He'd only socialize with his fellow trainees during training, tending to hang around his cousin while off duty.
    • Towards other Viridians/Paladins/Elders:
Axel was obedient and mannerly to his higher ups, always seeming to hang around groups of Paladins while he'd spend time with his cousin.

    • Yes, at the battle of Altaqq when the Regalian advance was overrun.
  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields? (answer with yes, they were present at XYZ)
    • No.
  • How was your character during training?
    • He spent most of his freetime studying religious texts, and he was inducted into a choir for the Viridian Castle chapel. What he didn't spend in the library, he spent training his endurance and tolerance. He never excelled at sword combat, but held a keen talent when it came to defensive measures and taking barrages of hits.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians?
    • He respects those who studied alongside him, and even more so those who did so before him. He did however not hesitate to rat out anywho he felt were violating either the creeds or the code of honor, sometimes taking the matters into personal hands and duelling the "sinner", or administering beatings, aided by a small religious cult of Viridians.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?
    • The trainees were Dominic main targets for punishment. He pretty much only interracted with those trainees who also had been inducted into the choir, and they formed a small religious gang that would engage in self-punishment and fasting as well as seeking out the slightest signs of deviation from the creeds.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?
    • Dominic made good friends with a portion of the paladins for his singing abilities and efforts in the choir and the school. He respected them, and always tried to seek them out for tips and the like. Even now, the Elders and the paladins are the few people Dominic will seek advice from besides the Synod.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • What little interactions he had with the Elders were either scoldings or advice. He respected the Elders and the primae greatly, though sometimes felt his morals unaligned with the elders, and more importantly, he felt that the Elder's were unaligned with unionism. While he certaintly held them in high regard, he also held disdain for a select few of them, as they conflicted his own zealous point of view.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • "The Zealot Knight"
    • Aware of a predecessor with a similar title, Dominic was called "The Zealot Knight", for his fanatic spiritual beliefs. Originally given to him during the battle of Altaqq where he would scream Creed citations with each strike he received and each strike he dealt.

How was your character during training?

  • Somewhat disobedient, Jaques constantly strayed from the obedience and discipline of other Viridans which resulted in reform with lashings or other methods, later around age fifteen Jaques began respecting and obeying his teachers and elders coming morally bound to the Hohe Ehre.

How did they interact with other Viridians?

  • Often lazy in conversation late in his training, early he was the clown and talkative young kid. Often getting lectured for talking to much.

How did they interact specifically with trainees?

  • At first Jaques was a cowardly child who was often called out to recite techniques or words of a teacher due to lack of listening ears. After he branched into his teenage years he abandoned that habit and seldom spoke to anyone unless spoken to often in solitude.

How did they interact specifically with the
Paladins?

  • Respectful, Jaques recognizes the work of Viridian Paladins and evidently has desire to take after them. He always obeyed the word of Paladins looking up to them as model figures.

How did they interact specifically with the Elders?

  • Reluctant, when he was young he had huge reluctance and trouble listening to the elders he was generally disinterested. Later in training he to interest and began talking and interacting with them in free time occasionally.

  • How was your character during training?
    • During his training, Reinhardt originally struggled. He had never known swordfighting before coming to the school and had a slight difficulty coming to terms with the longsword. Eventually he mastered the blade after guidance from the Elders. While he was training, Reinhardt took to reading into the Pre-Cataclysmic Age. Other trainees often joked that Reinhardt was meant for the scholar's court and not the Viridian Keep.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?
    • Interaction with other trainees outside of training was rather dull. He only talked top a selected few who he grew to become friends with. He tended to use the opportunity of being at the keep to study and train, not make friends.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?
    • Reinhardt saw these knights as his future. His goals rested in becoming one of these men, honorable and loyal to one another. He often approached these men for guidance on training and how to uphold the Code of Charlemois.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • During the earlier days of his training, Reinhardt consulted the Elders on how to master the longsword. After their guidance saw him master the blade, he gave them the respect they deserved. He also consulted the Elders into his studies on Pre-Cataclysmic History. After the Order was 'reformed' under Primae Domenico Cavalcante, he began to question the Elder's judgement and eventually disregarded their methods.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • Reinhardt the Ursine Knight
Reinhardt was expelled from the Viridian Order in 305AC after the Battle of Rothburg, due to breaking his code and becoming a Marken Beast.

  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins? As a trainee he was respectful, but inquisitive, always peppering paladins with questions and topics for debate. As a fellow Paladin, he was respectful and kind to his brothers, maintaining some amount of the superiority he had displayed as a trainee, but tempered with age and experience.

  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields?: Yes.
  • How was your character during training?: During the first year of Peter's training, he was meek and shy, and often bullied by the other boys who were more aggressive. As he progressed through his mid teen years he started to become more and more aggressive, and sometimes took it too far. By his late teens and towards graduation, Peter learned to humble himself and be helpful to the new recruits and pages. But still a force to be reckoned with.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians?: Around other Viridians Peter, learned to humble himself, and prove himself helpful and kind. Though he still often demonstrated his dominance in the pit.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?: With trainees and pages, Peter learned to win their favour at times. • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?: Peter chose certain Paladins to be his role models when growing up, he wanted to be just like them, and admired and respected them greatly. As he matured, and later became a Paladin, he still has much respects for his brothers of the Order, though never needs to be told to think for himself.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?: With the Elders Peter has always respected them much like his fellow Paladins, but to an even greater degree at times. He wished to appease them, and earn his keep quickly.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?: "The Brisk Knight", he was called by his fellow Viridians for his swift and often unexpected lunges. Another title he prefers is "The Wirtemcaller Blade", as to represent his people.

  • Character age (currently): 32
  • Year of entry training: 284 AC
  • Year of graduation: 294 AC
  • Did they participate in the Chrysant War?: No
  • Did they participate in the Ranger Crisis?: Yes, this was Jeremias' first battle. Having graduated only a few months prior he was young and hungry for the taste of blood thus without hesitation enlisted in the war.
  • Did they participate in the First Elven War?: Yes, at this point Jeremias had gained more experience in war and dedicated himself to the Empire and Crown.
  • Did they participate in the Songaskian War?: Yes.
  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields?: Yes.
  • How was your character during training? How did they interact with other Viridians? How did they interact specifically with trainees? How did they interact specifically with the Paladins? How did they interact specifically with the Elders?:
    • During training: Jeremias started off as a wild and rough page, often going all out on his opponents and showing no mercy. He frequently went too far and was thus punished for the behavior, though he never lost his spark, simply toned his performance down to avoid being removed from the school.
    • Towards Trainees: Jeremias enjoyed being the center of attention so he spoke with many of the other pages, however, would leave those alone who wished it. He was not one to pester or pry, simply only wishing to be known by all.
    • Towards Paladins: Jeremias was relatively respectful to the Paladins but believed one day he would be better than the lot of them. He was confident, borderline arrogant, which often resulted in him challenging various paladins and losing drastically due to the skill gap, still, he never backed down to any of them and continue to egg them on.
    • Towards Elders: Jeremias had no issue with how the school was run and so had no reason to disrespect the elders. He was courteous and kept to his etiquette towards them and on occasion attempted to appeal to them in hopes of some form of approval.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?: Due to his relentless fighting style and near arrogant attitude, Jeremias was deemed the Fiery Knight or Jeremias the Fierce. While he toned down his harsh ways within the school, he never lost his thrill for the fight and resumed his ferocity once graduating, however, this time keeping a more level head on his shoulders.
Jeremias went on to graduate in 294 AC just mere months before the Ranger Crisis. After graduation, he returned home for a visit before shipping off to aid in the war. After such, he continued to aid in conflicts and battles whenever the Empire found itself in conflict, completely dedicating himself to the cause, as well as often returning to the Viridian Castle. In more recent times he finds himself scattered in the current issues around the world and aids where he can while seeking a more prominent position in which he can serve from.

    • During training Aldwyn was very obedient and listened well to those who trained him, correcting any mistakes he made without lashing out or getting angry. He was a by-the-books sort of kid and as such didn't rebel or talk back very often, he knew when to just keep his mouth shut.
    • Towards trainees during his training as well he was friendly and wasn't afraid to socialize, though was very focused more on his training than anything else. Towards those he trains he's very strict but also very patient, punishing bad attitude and correcting mistakes collectedly.
    • Towards paladins he is respectful and humble, willing to listen to them and learn from them to help improve himself, he believes that he can better himself by listening to those who have more experience than him or just different experience, because they're all in it together anyway.
    • Towards Elders Aldwyn was extremely respectful and offered the proper courtesy and etiquette at all times, they ran things and things were set by them, he's younger and won't question their judgement because it isn't his place to do so.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • Aldwyn the Justice Knight, or simply Aldwyn the Just.
Aldwyn got his title from his very by-the-book behaviour, specifically for doing what he believed was right and frequently helping the little guys or the common folk. He would frequently stand up for the down-trodden and take up arms against those who would wish to do harm to them. He was also known for being fair, giving those who would do wrong a chance to surrender and repent rather than acting right away. For such behaviour he was deemed Aldwyn the Justice Knight, or simply Aldwyn the Just.

Post-graduation he immediately began to participate in the on-going ranger crisis, which was his first real battle and test of skills. He continued on to travel and assist in more minor events happening about Aloria before he participating in the Elven war and the wars to come. He frequently showed a defensive nature in the way he fought, covering his less capable allies and protecting them from harm. In more recent times he stands at the ready once called again after recently returning to Regalia from his various duties, he presently occupies himself as a guard to defend the citizenry of Regalia directly and punish those who would break the law. He continues to operate by-the-book during that which occupies him, remaining loyal to the code.

  • During Training:
    • He was a rather respectful young boy, being quieter and closed off and only asking questions when he really needed it. He was invested in his training by far, mainly fueled by his want to be stronger and loyal to the Emperor at the time.
  • Other Viridians/Trainees:
    • Kilian was a friendly face among fellow Viridians and with the trainees, always willing to try and assist them with bettering themselves but also holding a respectful attitude towards them if they were older than him. He did have his humorous moments but was one of the more straightforward ones.
  • Paladins:
    • The Paladins are the ones he truly looks up to, holding an immense respect for them that goes even deeper than with others. He tends to try to be the best he can when around them, trying to prove to them that he was the best there at the time.

    • The Relentless Knight or Cormac The Restless : Cormac earned the nickname 'Cormac The Restless' when he fought and sparred with his comrades, whether it be during training, whilst prepping house guards, or even back home. The nickname stuck with him. 'The Relentless Knight' nickname has a similar origin story. Most Viridians would not his relentlessness and ferocity whilst training with him, always going 100 mph every time he sparred. Both nicknames suited him perfectly and have stuck with him.

  • Were they present at the Battle of Curag Fields?

  • How was your character during training?
    • Ever eager to improve and train, Laurent was an over-achiever during his younger days, prone to growing irritated when losing in duels or spars. Laurent had always been courteous, however; making an effort to befriend his fellow trainees, show respect and admiration to paladins and loyalty to the elders even in his youth. Laurent was not a natural in combat ability when compared to some of the other trainees, requiring some degree of experience before his skill reached a level that could compete. His favorite aspect of the Viridian school had been watching the Paladins joust and fight in tourneys, appreciating the spectacle of it all.
  • How did they interact with other Viridians?
    • Laurent feels closely connected to the Viridian Order, especially since the Lo Crisis. Even before then, he felt a brotherly bond towards his fellow Viridians, and would do just about anything to see that the Order as a whole is protected. Still, Laurent can be a judging individual, analyzing people's pasts and deciding whether they are "worthy" or "true" Viridians that follow the code or not. These opinions can affect what Laurent thinks of the individual.
  • How did they interact specifically with trainees?
    • Laurent went out of his way to befriend other trainees, and treated them like siblings. When losing in spars to them, however, he may be temporarily flustered. His friends come to expect this, but it is often hidden behind a firm wall of courtesy so as to not appear to be a "sore loser". Laurent will more often than not spend his days alongside his once fellow trainees, treating them as friends who have a bond that cannot be broken by normal means.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Paladins?
    • Aspiring to join their ranks from an early age, Laurent was always fascinated with the Paladins of the Order. Often watching them from daily activity to occasional spectacle, he was a fervent admirer of most of his Paladins, but inner gossip circles could turn him against particular Knights who are known as less honorable or true to the code. In present, Laurent appeared respectful and disciplined to these Paladins, but ever-eager to win their favor.
  • How did they interact specifically with the Elders?
    • The same of Paladins can be said for the Elders, though to a more distant degree. While he respected them and owed the Elders his loyalty, Laurent never felt particularly connected to the Elders, but was still fascinated with their legacies and accomplishments. Laurent did hide that he had more respect for the more able Viridians still in their prime, and remained respectful, disciplined and courteous in front of the Elders.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • "Laurent the Lionheart Knight", earned before his graduation during the Lo Crisis where he met the enemy without cowering even when gravely outnumbered. The title comes from his brief display of courage, although he was felled in the battle rather quickly, and was only spared when he was nearly buried beneath other corpses.

He always showed greater respect to the Elders then anyone else and always thought what came out of their mouths was wise and just, never questioning it.

    • No. Rodrigo was busy with studying the Sancella at the behest of his father.
  • How was your character during training?
    • Upon sparring with him, anyone could tell that Rodrigo was born to be a Knight. With impeccable talent in the blade, Rodrigo showed impressive and remarkable proficiency with swordplay. Rodrigo had a great sense of camaradarie with the other Viridians in training, much like brothers-in-arms with them, and therefore he got along with them well. He respected his fellow Viridians and thus Rodrigo in return was respected too. During his later years of Viridian training, the fellow Knights began noticing books and studies of Sancella in Rodrigo's quarters, proving that Rodrigo was having a conflict of career interest. This made him known as the Divided Knight, for there was a divide in Rodrigo's ambitions for future. Rodrigo bowed his head for the Paladins of the Viridian with no shame, however at times he would find faults in them for judging his style of combat, unable to take criticism without his feelings getting in the way.
  • What Knightly title did your Knight have?
    • The Divided Knight. This title was born from the divide within Rodrigo; the divide between a Knight and a Cleric. Rodrigo always seemed to walk two paths in life, one towards the life of a Reverend, the other towards the honor of a Knight. Because of this conflict, people came to know him as "the Divided".
