On His Mind Again.

On his mind again.
She was on his mind again. She was always on his mind, be it at the forefront or just a thought that popped up every so often and reminded him to smile. She was in his heart. No-one had ever gotten so integral to his life so fast, but here she was. He hoped she'd stay.

To him, she was beauty, pure and unadulterated. In the way she moved, the way she talked, the way she looked, the way she was. He wouldn't trade it for anything, wouldn't trade her for anything. He couldn't. He didn't remember ever being so angry as when Leon had thrown a proposal ring at her, didn't remember ever being so happy when he was with her, didn't remember ever falling as deep and fast as he had. And still, he wouldn't change it. He'd told Lena much the same thing, 'When you love somebody, they don't make you feel happy. They make you feel everything.' That was Solaine to him. He hadn't realized it, but he'd started to rotate around her, his world had- like the planets around the sun. He missed her when she wasn't around, felt happy when she was. The sun to his moon- when she shone on him he lit up.

He trusted her, in a way he'd never trusted anyone else. He wasn't sure that he'd ever trust anyone else like that if this didn't work. He hoped it did.

He'd entrusted her with all the keys to his heart.

She owned every key. She could unlock it all, all parts of it. Even the parts he didn't want to see, for he'd locked them away a long time. He wondered how she'd done it. He wondered how she'd managed to get into his heart so fast, and cemented herself there. He wondered why was it that she'd picked him- when there were others.

He wouldn't ever want her to change her mind.
