First Paragraph: Oliver looks a bit older then a Thirty-one-year-old would. Creases on his forehead and aged eyes the man looks as if he’s in his later years rather than younger. Oliver is often the stressed out one of the group, often double checking before he does anything which causes him to be paranoid, this could have something to do with his aged appearance. Oliver has a thin beard that makes him look rough looking to some, and to others harmless. His hair is a darker shade, also sporting a crew cut which means the front of his hair perks up slightly. Overall, Oliver looks anything but intimidating and almost just looks like the normal guy.


Second Paragraph: Oliver is pretty normal in height, only reaching 5’8 unlike most fighters in Regalia. His body is torn up and scared with no tattoo’s to be seen, he’s a very beat up man and has earned himself the title of ‘punching bag’ within the group by taking the most hits by the contracts that decide to fight back. Oliver definitely has some muscle definition on his body and arms, though he is not the strongest guy in the tavern most of the time.


Third Paragraph: When Oliver isn’t in his armor, he often wears something any Heartland Ceardian would, baggy clothes, and some leather here and there with dark-blue and white accents. Oliver isn’t one for fashion, but people would say this clothing style fits this Ceardian very well.

Fourth Paragraph: Oliver has a deeper voice, most often enjoy when he speaks or tells stories as he’s able to put a lot of enthusiasm behind it and his voice only doubles that experience. This can sometimes be used to Oliver's advantage when discussing business or trying to get out of trouble.

Personality and Abilities

First Paragraph: Well-tempered, enthusiastic and hard-working are all qualities you could see in Oliver right from the beginning. The Tenpenny is always looking for his next paycheck which forces him to go out of his comfort-zone and approach new people regularly. This is almost an essential part of being a sword for hire, up-keeping relationships often, which is mostly the reason people trust and hire Oliver and his Tenpenny crew because the man seems emotionally invested in his work. This means Oliver can be seen in the tavern day or night surrounded by higher-class Ailor well overall seeming very approachable.

Second Paragraph: Oliver has but one struggle mentally and that is being unemployed. Oliver provides for his family regularly and when jobs don’t come the Tenpenny’s way he can seem lost or otherwise desperate. Otherwise, most can be correct on the assumption that he misses his family and thinks about them often. Overall, Oliver is a family man and is mostly where he is to make money rather than socialize.

Third Paragraph: Oliver relies on friends more than his own family in the world. This is because he works in a job where he could possibly die on each mission, if he doesn’t trust and expect his crew to have his back then he’s a lost cause. Oliver goes through everything with at least someone by his side, be it a friend or his family which just strengthens his trust for them. Within his family he can be seen as a jovial character, often goofing off in front of them when he can. It can be said that Oliver is most happy when he’s with his wife and kid.

Fourth Paragraph: The Tenpenny is in a world surrounded by rumors, backstabbing, and lies and that’s where his work sort of fits in. He finds a certain peace when danger comes along as it ensures work for him and his colleagues. You could describe Oliver as a man to be chaotic-neutral as he mostly does anything in life for his family and the well being of himself and team which is often why he is considered the paranoid one out of all of the Tenpenny’s in his party. Overall, Oliver isn’t afraid to do what is necessary to make sure his family and friends lives are safe.

Talents

Leadership: Over the several years of training alongside the Tenpenny commanders and strategizers made Oliver show leadership qualities. He’s often the paranoid one of the group, but more times then not you’ll see Oliver making call-outs to his companions in the field and creating an overall game plan to get things done. Overall, Oliver can be seen as a natural commander and one that has a fair bit of experience fighting in the field.

Tenpenny Fighting: Though Oliver isn’t the best fighter in the group he does have some sense behind his step through the several years of training. This is proved from the history of countless jobs the man has been through. There is an overall consensus that Oliver could handle himself if needed throughout the group, which makes him somewhat respected in that aspect.

Weaknesses

Paranoid: Oliver values life, he isn’t one to walk into a mission knowing too little about it. Checking corners and researching is what Oliver does in his ‘free’ time when he isn’t around actually hunting for work. Due to this Oliver may seem scared or nervous at times when he’s had little preparation. Overall, Oliver hates when he’s unprepared which can be showcased visually on missions.

Life Story

• Born on December 15th, 274 AC to Rory and Ava MacMahon.
• Raised in Northern Dragenthal in a small hunting village called Polperro.
• At the age of ten, he began his training with hunting, starting off with tracking and recognizing different animal prints.
• Rory hired a Tenpenny tutor with what little they had to spare when Oliver turned fourteen, ensuring their sons' ability to keep his own.
• At the age of sixteen, Oliver came down with pneumonia for three months as this triggered a secondary bacterial infection, things were looking low for Oliver and his parents sat by and prayed for their sons well being, this cleared up within the fourth month and everyone mutually agreed Oliver should take a break from lessons for the rest of the year.
• After waiting out the rest of the year, he returned to hunting and learning from his Tenpenny tutor.
• And at the age of eighteen, Oliver married a village girl by the name of Isla and they had a son not long after named Noah.
• Too support their family and make a living Oliver sought out more experienced tutors and on his travels, he stumbled into what would be his best friend, Hamish.
• Hamish and he became travel companions as they spoke further, they had similar ideas and views on life and the MacMahon family would eventually go to look at him as one of their own.
• At the age of twenty-eight, Oliver and Hamish became a well-known duo throughout the realms of Aloria and have been taking jobs for a while now out on the field and taking long trips away from his family.
• Decided to move to the crown city, living in the countryside of Regalia as he travels into town to seek work for him and his Tenpenny’s.
• Now, at the age of thirty-one, Oliver is still doing the job he’s always been doing, fighting alongside his closest friend and sometimes getting into trouble. He's now earned himself a spot in the Imperial Guards which has opened up several doors for the man.
