The yellow-stained notices would be shrouded through the city, on the sides of buildings, and various noticeboards. The writing was legible, and some even had callers to yell out the news to the common people. All notices were stamped with the sigil of balance, a common symbol used by the Old Guard.

ISSUED BY THE OLD GUARD
June the 16th, 308AC

Warrants have been placed upon the following individuals for the crimes stated under each by right of the Old Guard. These warrants are final until further notice.

❂ Hagmer
  • Wanted for assault with the intent to kill a man of noble blood, which is by all accounts illegal.

❂ Sae'viir
  • Wanted for assault on a man of noble blood, which is by all accounts illegal.

  • Wanted for assault on a civilian, depriving them of freedom, and threatening death upon them.

  • Wanted for being afflicted with Sanguinism.

Message to the People:

The recent attacks within New Town with Werebeasts is being looked upon. Anyone who has an affliction, or is acting out of the ordinary should be brought to Greygate immediately. If you are caught assisting these deviants you will be faced with the same punishments as those afflicted. We will by no means tolerate the abhorrent actions taken by these cursed individuals. To those criminals, the Old Guard states thus: You may be controlled by parasites or this exist-tainted disease, but if you have the intent to strike Regalian people down we will protect those under the ever-vigilant eye of this Empire, the innocent. Do not test us.

___________

All criminals must either present themselves within Greygate within forty-eight hours of this post or will be given no mercy through the righteous punishments bestowed on all individuals for heinous crimes through the eyes of the law.

Signed,
Kalmar Lok-Guthrain
Baron of Pol Tanh
Commander of the Old Guard

Joasaie Lloablen
Captain of the Old Guard

Vakgu Lok-Guthrain read over one of the Imperial Isle posted issues, speaking out generally to himself, though anyone passing by could overhear . "If anyone can handle such beasts terrorizing our streets it is Kalmar. I pledge my continued loyalty." Following such, the general of Pol Tanh continued on with his day.

The poster was, eventually, brought to Abigail's attention. She only gave it a glance over, though upon seeing the names she laughed, wiped at her brow, and glanced away. From then on she pretended she'd never seen the posters.

Sae'viir - The Sewers
dEzTVyh.png

In the dark of the night, a corrupted soul drifted through the dark depths of the underground corridors. Footfalls echoed down the way until it came to an abrupt halt- and with the turn of her horned head, Sae'viir glanced up to the sewer exit, hearing the town crier's calls from above. Her clawed fingers curled until the tip of her nails dug into ashen palms.

".. No mercy?" She sharply scoffed before progressing further into the sewer system. She raised up a hand and glided it along to the right, blackened claws scraping across the walls.

"They never shed a sliver of mercy to me in the first place."

Sae'viir was tragically convinced that it was better this way. Bridges had been burnt. Existing on the surface had never brought joy. She could barely remember the countless times she was forcefully escorted into the sewers, agonizingly picked apart by guardsmen, and pushed into the same dwellings of the Sanguine which inevitably led to her infection. What did they expect?

And now, all that was left was a Kathar who couldn't cope, plagued with night terrors of men donned in metal. Her sleep did not bring rest. For that, they would have to pay dearly. It was her next satisfaction.

The Tordove reeled her head back and sucked in an airy, rattling breath, until she furiously declared aloud, words howling down the chilly halls:

"Revenge, at all cost. The cradle of my teeth. What you love is already mine!"

The Yanar glanced over at Kalmar as they watched the various people read one of the parchments. The plant's hands clasped behind their back as they commented idly to the Orc.

"<MoA> Revenge, apparently, was said. Let's see how far that gets her, yes? Maybe she'll end up how Fen'nan is. One more cross of the line brings death."

It was on a stroll to Rose Court that Llewyn halted at the piece of parchment that had the words 'warrant' sprawled on them. Curiosity etched in the Kathar, and as she'd give it a read over, she'd scoff at the names etched into the papers.

A wicked grin twisted itself onto her visage-- Though it was slightly strained from the worry that inevitably plagued her heart. The one-eyed woman then simply bobbed her head in a few nods... Putting a hand to her chin, as the twisted grin simply stretched in thought. She'd remain silent for a few moments, before piping up in a mutter, despite being surrounded by other individuals.

"Well. I suppose I'll be watching the both of them until this blows over," she'd mutter, before twisting herself around & pushing off to continue on her daily stroll. "I'll aid where I can."

An addition was made to the notices around the city, stating that the warrant on Hagmer has been completed.
