ON MATTERS CONCERNING LORD DAMON SLUMBERWOOD

It is not everyday that we as Inquests must bring someone in to question their loyalty to the Crown and the Empire. Yet, I find myself begrudgingly having to call out Lord Damon Slumberwood for his recent transgressions.​

I've only a few words to offer the Baron Slumberwood. Your people should not live in fear of their ruler. They should not have to worry about undead attacks brought to their front doors because of the actions of their negligent Lord.

Furthermore, they most certainly should have to worry about being slain and put on display by the man who is meant to look after their best interests in their day to day lives. For the recent atrocities committed in your lands I hereby call an Imperial Inquest.

With that said, you are free to contact me and organize a date for your trial. Write me posthaste by the end of this weekend or I will set the date and time with my fellow Inquests.

May you be judged fairly by your peers and our Emperor.

May the all glorious Spirit continue to guide us with each action and step we take in life.​

I do not claim to have made the right decisions in dealing with the wardens, especially given that I barely made them myself. If the Imperial court wishes to prosecute me for these actions, performed under the influence of a menace, so be it. May whatever occurs from this inquest bring the people of Baldmark peace and not more chaos.
