Applications for Noble Family approval are performed on this thread. There are several ways to apply for Nobility, fore mostly by submitting a pre-roleplay application (family has not yet been made, and not been roleplayed at all yet), or a post-roleplay application (family that has already been active for some time as commoner). After this consideration, several rules apply: Application Rules When applying you understand that Nobility is not always going to be a fun system. The system will try to work with you, but you should always expect players to work against you. Nobility also has a much stricter code of conduct than non-Noble roleplayers, with passive aggressive communication and meme-warfare being strictly punished. You are permitted first generation nobility, but this will have effects on your court standing. Old families generally are less wealthy or less intensely involved with their lands, while new families are wealthier but lack the deep and historical connections to the land and people and are generally on more shaky foundations. You are expected to play a noble and not an anti-noble who tries to be "one of the commoners" and is "saddled with this duty they don't want". Nobles in our lore are people who /love/ their position and would rather die than live their lives as commoners. You can lie to commoners and pretend to be one of them, but it should be obvious in your noble-to-noble interactions that your character isn't an anti-noble. Applications will be rigorously examined for quality. Additional questions may be asked of you in Rp Com Discord Tickets if the Dm wishes to have a further interview. Make sure you are on the Rp Com Discord and your Username is the same as your Forum username, or easy to find. Application Template Family: Name (Single word names please) History: Origins (Old money or New money? Where do they come from? What is their culture?) Leaders: (You must assign 1 primary Leader, and 1 backup Leader. These will bear responsibility) Members: (You must assign 2 Family Members, or 2 Family Vassals, see rules below) (That's it, but please consider the below rules) Additional Template Rules When needing to fill in a name of a player, always fill in their OOC name and their Character Name. 1 Man families are not permitted. You must have at least 1 Leader and 1 Backup Leader. You must have 2 extra Family Members, as an additional requirement to the above, thus bringing the total people in the family to 4 as a requirement. You can however substitute these Family Members, with Vassals, from other Commoner Families. These 2 extra Family Members don't need to necessarily be from your Family, you can also get commitments from Commoner Families to help your Family as Vassals, though you must always have at least 2 people in your family (yourself and your secondary leader) Families with Criminal records need not apply, they will be auto-declined. Families who want to use disguises like de Azcoissia, please send in a ticket to consult first. Families based on Slizzar activities, please send in a ticket to consult first. Final Considerations These are not hard or fast rules, more like guidelines. While we don't block out any particular application format, there are some themes and areas that desperately need more representation in the Noble System, and as such, applications for those fields will be more generously considered, while some of the niches that are considered "Full" will be given less consideration. There are already plenty of Families who do not have actual loyalty to the Emperor. The vast majority of the Families pay lip service to Imperial Loyalty, what with fornicating with Crimson Witch Demons and other illegal matters, while pretending to be loyal. A Family that is genuinely Monarchist (not the type that just uses the Emperor's words to try and be racist, but one who genuinely wants the Emperor to have a more firm hand in politics) would be a good counter balance. There are already plenty of Knight Families. Knights are oversaturated as they are. There are too few Heartland Ceardian/Daendroquin/Bragacao/Leutz-Vixe/Ithanian/Solvaan/Songaskian/Asha/Breizh (not Feka-Asha) Families. These regions will be given more generous considerations. Breizh, Altalar and Songaskian family absence is especially desperate with greater considerations. There are too many Anglian/Velheim/New-Regalian/Etosian Families. These regions will be given more harsh entry considerations for applications. There are too few genuine Unionist, and especially Vultragon Unionist Families. These faithful families will be given more generous considerations, but only if they are genuine and don't skirt the laws of Unionism behind closed doors.
