Upon one humid evening in the Holy City, Reverend Buhr traveled about the several assorted chapels that dotted the landscape. Patting his forehead away of sweat with his handkerchief, the Reverend would remain silent, eyes shut, simply breathing as the anticipation grew. Without warning, whilst many began to exchange glances and whispers, the young Reverend began sermon in a calm and booming voice.

“Clank, Clink, Clank. There goes the sword. The iron horse of Unionist expansion and subjugation has reached its closure. The means to appeal to other cultures and foreign races has been evicted from the Church’s vocabulary by the holy decrees of his Imperial Holiness.

Brothers and sisters it’s time for us to return within our halls. We’re but in only for the Spirit. It’s time to stop looking outside in hopes of conversion, leave such foreign matters to the State, not the Church. Let those outside the Church suffer from their own failure to see the truth of the Great Way. Don’t seek to help the lost that clearly don’t deserve your assistance.

It is not our duty, as Unionists, to sideline our ongoing construction to turn around and extort what we’ve built. Within the Fourth and Fifth Creeds, it details no duty that we must assist these non-believers, these terrorists of faith. If a tree grows its branches to long and its roots to short it risks falling over. The same goes for our glorious faith. Rather the creeds state that each of the devout must pray twice a day, dawn and dusk. That our focus should be within ourselves, the empire, and the Spirit.

I’m distressed that many of us have been weakened with this ideal that we must be fair and loving to the inferior. Fair? Loving? Please spare us of these ridiculous accusations. Where do these feelings hold weight within the natural world? They have one damaged our great dream! Many of times has this action destabilized our grand empire. Such acts of “tolerance” by past administrations have caused several rebellions and incursions into our lands, bringing unnecessary death to our loved ones.

Fathers. Mothers. Brothers. Sisters. Sons. Daughters...

All lost by failure to stick to what had made us great, our ability to believe and trust in ourselves. Where is this magnificent dream of Regalia? I know it is not gone, it’s merely lost in the minds of this great people. Long has our Cathedrals been filled with the many seeking the grace that is our faith, only to have their hearts emptied of the Spirit.

Now. Don’t feel dismayed. For what is lost can be rebuilt. With the ascension of our new Imperial Holiness, we are given the chance once more by the Imperial Spirit to revive the fire that is our love and loyalty to The Great Way. For your efforts to seek absolution will not go unnoticed by the Imperial Spirit. I’d like to recite a quote from the Fourth Creed to you all:

“Take comfort in the knowledge my fellow Humanum, death is never the end, simply the beginning of the long Everwatch until the Great Way is complete and all shall be re-united in paradise.”

Release the beast that is your adoration, and trust and labor to benefit this great empire, push away the unwillingly and let them wither till they fizzle away and their corrupt empires fall.

Now smile, never let the weak bring you away from the light, for they desire to bring you into sin, not liberation… Neben Mir..."

With that, Reverend Buhr would lower his head, standing once more in silence, giving a silent prayer. Soon after the Reverend would exit the chapel, moving onto the next.

The title made me think our dear Reverend was talking about the marital duties in the bed...
