Backstory:

Newnor was, as most Kathar, abandoned at birth to live within what was essentially an orphanage. In childhood they had a rather difficult personality in the fact they were utterly disinterested in any long-term ambitions. Lacking any strong passions, Newnor was content to explore and sketch, always solitary, and as such went largely unnoticed by their peers and potential 'adopters'. Eventually, when Newnor had nearly aged out of the Future House entirely, they were taken in alongside a slew of other children. This turn, unfortunately, was one for the worse. The group was put through a few rigorous tests to devise who had the strongest talents for magic. Newnor, not among them, was then tasked to learn to fight to serve as a body guard instead. This too was something Newnor did not excel in; they preferred drawing ink rather than blood. Eventually, it was decided Newnor wasn't good for much else, and became the subject of magical experiments. The types of spells Newnor's "guardian" prioritized were that of the mind, pushing it's boundaries in every which way. Bending it, restricting it, manipulating it-- and eventually, erasing it. All semblance of memory, knowledge, personality had seemingly disappeared, and with it, their usefulness. Rather than go through the effort of killing Newnor themselves, their guardian tasked one of the other children, Karonn, to take care of it. It was in this that Karonn discovered Newnor wasn't the husk they'd all thought them to be, but rather in some kind of state of shock. Karonn ended up delivering Newnor to a ship with what little coin they had to afford them passage to Regalia in hopes they could start anew. Since then, they have wandered Regalia's streets, barely clinging to life as they scrape by on bits of trash, dropped change and what spare coins that are given to them.​

NOTE: Newnor does not remember anything about themselves, their backstory or even the name of their race. They still retain the ability to speak Katharic, Common, a few basic skills and basic information, but are otherwise clueless about the world entirely.

    Proficiencies will be updated as the character develops IRP, as of right now they lack any and all memories, most of their previous knowledge (which was minimal to begin with) and are extremely physically weak + unhealthily thin.
