Hi there!

My old thread was so old that it actually doesn't have anything on it anymore cos of the forum stuff that happened. something something all the pretty pictures are gone

So here. It's what we've all been waiting for! ha
A fancy new art thread.

Stuff on here has been created either on a small Wacom tablet the name of which I forget (on Krita), or on an iPad with my finger and Procreate. Sometimes both a tablet and the iPad when I'm feeling crazy.

I have now officially switched to Krita! I love the painting brushes they have on there. Here are the latest Krita drawings.
riaz krazzla sketch.webp elven groot.webp red ka concept.webp << An attempt at Musclegod. I used an Incredible Hulk reference for that but I think it's a bit overkill.
Thanos is the way to go.

i also doodled a divider/ header

it's big

I've relapsed into drawing bugs.

This is some throwback art of a Torrp that I did from memory. It's just a sketch but I'm still very happy with how it turned out; I still really love the insectoid aesthetic.

Speaking of...
I made this guy as a lil piece of concept art, based once again on a moth. Very proud of this one, love how it came out. And now I'm back into drawing bugs, so uh. There may be some more of that here I suppose!

Really miss the Torrp and it's so good to see again. And DAMN I love this concept so much! Those eyebrows tho

Could you maybe try a butterfly-like drawing, one of the ones with really vibrant colours? Your drawings are excellent.
Of course, yes! I'll give it a shot, at least.

This is technically incomplete but I'll be away for few days and I think it looks fairly good as is right now. I might repost a more shaded one later, but for now here he is!

This is probably not what you had in mind, but I did another butterfly based on a Blue Morpho, which is a pretty bright butterfly.

i also discovered a new blending palette knife comb thing which is very soft. i used it to comb this guy's fluff.

And also, I took a break from drawing humanoid insects to design an Altalar. Technically speaking he should have longer hair, but uh. I forgot a little bit.

Oh gosh..It's beautiful.

Werebeasts have been released, which means I have to drop all other wip characters and play Scorrico instead. Legally.

Anyone who has a Scorrico, I would love to do a lil doodle of your character's hunger form! I can work from as little or as much information as you have.
hmu at who?#6846
I can't guarantee I will definitely do the drawing, but I won't charge anything, so there's nothing to lose.

Appolinar and Nesstro's Kai-si'en -- an exceedingly rare two-character drawing! The shading was a bit rushed, but overall I'm really happy with how this turned out.

Whoops, it's been a while! I forgot to upload stuff as of late. Here is some stuff from most recent to least recent.

upload_2020-1-1_16-5-49.webp

-=SAMAL=-
A newish Anglian Scorrico character. Mutated almost beyond recognition.

upload_2020-1-1_16-8-45.webp

-=AELRIS=-
A quarter-Fae, three-quarter Eladrin Paladin NPC from a D&D oneshot I've been preparing. The shirt is technically wip, but I don't think I'll ever finish it.

-=UNNAMED OC=-
This OC belongs to my friend, so uh. I don't have a blurb for them. They're based in the Hazbin universe, though.

I adore Samal's design. I always fine those mutated/skeletal themes really cool and atmospheric, especially with that colour choice.

Thankyou!! I too am a big fan of how this character has turned out. It's fascinating seeing how each character reacts to all his freaky mutations o.o

Your art is going strong! I love the art style.
Awh thankyou! That makes me very happy to hear. :)

An older drawing with a funky brush! Really hard for me to reproduce, but the effect is super cool I think.

Also, I've been drawing a lot of DnD lately. This is some of the stuff I've done in the last few weeks.

From top to bottom:
An NPC bard for a oneshot I ran in the Feywilds. He ended up offering the party an out from a particularly sticky Faerie deal (as part of a separate, perhaps just as sticky deal).
--
The party druid, Hog! here he is depicted smoking a blade of grass. he's.. very unique.
--
One of the party's fighters, a Warforged rune knight called Thalmin. Surprisingly, he's one of the few fully good-aligned characters in the party, and he's also a heavy gambler and a mercenary.
--
My character, Power. He's a sorlock, so a sorceror warlock multiclass. He's made an unadvisable number of deals with all sorts of malign otherworldly entities, and recently has unwittingly stumbled into another pact with another horrific creature of the void: Tharizdun, the Chained God. Nasty business. Here, there's a variant to show his aesthetic spellcasting for Warlock spells.

Some more arts!

A new character, half-elfin bard boi! I've also made him into a D&D character, which is fun.

An edgier drawing of a non-massive OC of mine. The first time I've drawn a background of any sort in I-don't-know-how-long -- turned out better than I expected!
