Core Concept

Nerine believes herself to live a rather humble life. Despite being adopted into nobility, she keeps her belongings sparse and gives away what she can to the less fortunate. She has a rather passive approach to everything, and a hobby of beekeeping.

Appearance Information

Being a half Narim, Nerine takes on the primary appearance of a humanoid bee. With a bee head, antennae, light aesthetic wings, a second set of arms, and bug tarsus, leading to her generally not wearing shoes. She's about 6'2" with a generally lithe build. Tall but slim.

Racial Mechanics



    • Narim can Point Buy up to 3 Packs from Prayer Point Buy so long as they only have God Magic Dimension Alignment. Any other form of non-Mundaneness revokes this.



    • Narim have night vision and are able to see in perfect (mundane) darkness, never needing a light or some other sight implemented in the sewers or at night.



    • Narim can revert to a larval stage (not child-like, but grub-like) shedding their body, for 3 days. They can then change their arthropod species, and recover any lost limbs or remove scarring.



    • Yanar can speak to plants and trees, and even encourage them to grow faster or hide, or change their appearance.



    • Yanar can even create new plants altogether in their own Region/Base/Estate, complete with fruits and flowers.

Life Story / Plot Hooks

Nerine was born to a Yanar named Horiaphae, and a Narim named Ephron. Both being non-binary, and her growing up without much concept of gendered customs.

The pair were wanderers, Ephron a scribe, and Horiaphae a medic - traveling from town to town. As such, in her earlier years, Nerine called the Maquixtl lands as a whole her birthplace.

Ephron ensured she knew plenty of her heritage. Everything about the Narim, Hashem and his teachings, how to spread the word, how to pray, the holidays- which she adored the most. Horioaphae sat back and let her get to know Maquixtl culture, for the most part. But she very much adorned both.

Eventually Horiaphae insisted on settling down in a village in Nuxvar - leading Nerine to be communally raised. One person in particular took to be her primary "mother", that being Izel. Who eventually properly adopted her.

With Izel taking her on fully, she was taught basic mannerisms. How to hold herself, how to act around nobility, the like. It took her far in life.

Eventually splitting off on her own, she wandered for a while, but eventually sought to return to family, in a new place. Joining her adoptive mother in the crown isle.

Recently disowned from the Mecatl's, Nerine now navigates life on her own.
