- Full Name: Neqlemaara (NECK-luh-MAW-ruh)
- Heritage / Culture: Vaulter Maraya
- Age: 25
- Gender / Pronouns: trans woman, she/they
- Occult: No <3
Neqlemaara is a young, headstrong Maraya engineer who incorporates Dwarven Servotech into her Nalontech creations. She doesn't miss the Meraic much at all, but she is rather bitter about the smaller things she took for granted, having not yet acclimated to life outside her own time in the few short years since she awoke. Not to mention everyone she knows being dead and/or gone.
Appearance Information
A pale pink, freckled Maraya with long ears and two pairs of short horns along the sides of their head. Their orange hair is bobbed, save for two longer strands framing their face. A pair of brass-rimmed Nalontech goggles rests on their forehead above vibrant green eyes, which are mostly covered by messy bangs. She is of diminutive stature for a Maraya at only 5'5, but is clearly very physically fit. She has subtly defined abs visible beneath an open thigh-length forest green jacket and cropped black shirt. Her clothing is accented by dark blue Nalontech armor with brass details. She is often seen wearing Servotech combat gloves covered in an outer layer of the same dark blue Nalontech.

Neqlemaara was born into the final years of the Bright War. She was just starting as an apprentice Nalontechnician when the vaults were created. The Master she apprenticed under, Tohsii, was only a few years her elder, and came to be something of a love interest.
However, Tohsii was also fiercely loyal to the Tohn Sona, and conflict arose between them when Neqlemaara's family sought to enter a vault to escape the conflict. This culminated in a physical altercation between Neqlemaara and her former master outside the entrance to a Meraic vault. Tohsii and a number of other extremist Maraya attempted to prevent entry into the vault, as they considered their creation and use to be in violation of the Tohn Sona. Neqlemaara was forced to fight Tohsii, incapacitating her, to ensure entry for herself and her fellow vaulters.
She entered the Meraic vault with her family, but awoke alone. After waking, she wandered through the now-empty vault to find that it had been breached at some point in the past by the expansion of a subterranean civilization she would later learn was Dwarven. She walked the empty stone halls of the Dwarven ruins for what must have been years, tinkering with and learning from the remnants of old Servotech creations.
Eventually she found her way out of the ruin, surfacing somewhere in Ellador and finding herself in the midst of war. The conflict made her uneasy, so she did her best to find her way off the continent, picking up a basic understanding of the new Common language on her way. Eventually she found herself on a ship heading south, set for Regalia.

- Neqlemaara prefers the nickname Clem
- Like many Maraya, she enjoys making music with her chrysalis. However, as she specializes in flexible Nalontech, she elects to create instruments with Nalontech strings instead of percussive or resonant crystals. The music she plays could be most closely compared to modern math rock or post-rock.
- Neqlemaara REALLY wants to like carbonated beverages, despite the unbearable spiciness
- Clem disagrees with the Tohn Sona's assertion that magic is innately evil. However, having seen first-hand the unbridled destruction they are capable of, she is very wary of anyone who works with demons or void magic
- She does believe, though, that the Tohn Sona is right to consider religion the greatest of corruption. She has no love for Gods or the highest-ranking individuals of their churches and temples, but she does not look down upon those who practice religion, merely pities what she assumes must be naivety or desperation
- Clem resents the dragons for not making good on their promise to wake the Maraya who entered the vaults, and allowing them to fall into disrepair
