THE NEO-HILTFRONTIST LOBBY
EMERGES HENCE
The Emergence
Hiltfrontism has seen many forms and iterations over the years of Regalian history as an ideological persuasion and a tool for political organization. Throughout the years, houses have aligned with Hiltfrontism despite being from a broad spectrum of political leanings. Of late, the concept of Hiltfrontism had been left dormant, with many leaving the historic faction's trailblazers and stalwart defenders to the dust of old textbooks.
The Hinterlandic Lobby, a faction founded on the principles of regionalism and respecting the distinctions of cultural identity in their unified obeisance to the Crown, has decided to reemerge as the Neo-Hiltfrontist Lobby. The party welcomes a broad coalition of support, featuring both a Progressive and Moderate wing. The Progressive Wing serves as the backbone, being adamant defenders of its Core Tenets and Beliefs. The Moderate Wing is largely comprised of 'Compassionate Conservatives', not fully aligning with the Party Platform, yet embracing it over that of other factions.

Issues of Popular Review
On Magic Policy: Neo-Hiltfrontists are Pro-Magic. While they may differ in specific policy nuances, the considerations of the types and phenomena concerning magic, and the variance in regulatory policymaking, they all affirm a minimal belief that magic should be permissible at least in zones subject directly to State Law, without local ordinances, such as the Regalian Capital, and affirm that policy should be put in place defining types of magic as allowable and that their wielders should not be violently persecuted.
On the Ruling Class: While ever-supportive of the Crown's omnipotence and guidance, Neo-Hiltfrontists understand a social contract to have been instituted since the Five Family Rebellion and the installation of the Regalian Kingdom. This cements the Emperor's anointed as hereditary rulers of his vast domain, holding court and ruling by his grace. Neo-Hiltfrontists also acknowledge that the Nobility have a duty to righteous administration of their lands from this given mandate. In the event a Lord is ever in need of assistance with the management of their affairs, they are encouraged to rely on the competent service of lawyers, burghers, and other qualified individuals usually of the Middle Class. In these cases it becomes necessary for Meritocratic Governance to be favored in assisting Lordships in the exercise of duties, as well as with the Imperial Government, promoting capably trained Commoners to positions of efficient administration.
On Centralization: Owing to its Regionalist Roots in the Hinterlandic Lobby, Neo-Hiltfrontists, while embracing meritocracy to ensure efficient government proceedings, reject the notion that a heavily centralized, bureaucratic State is the only manner in which innovation, progress, and security can be achieved. On the contrary, this often leads to tyranny and abuse of power by that same bureaucracy. Neo-Hiltfrontists prefer the preservation of cultural and regional identity and argue that loosening regulation can often incentivize innovation, trade, and ultimately the progression of prosperity under circumstances in which the Lordships are not coerced into compliance. Notwithstanding this, Neo-Hiltfrontists recognize that regulation is necessary when there is a concern regarding State Security or that of the Crown's preservation, and further favors strengthening the central State on matters of diplomatic and military concern, ensuring it is adequately funded and staffed to grapple with intercontinental crises abroad.
Progressive Wing
Progressives make up the main ideological proponents of the Party which are often responsible for continuing to urge it further in the direction of Progressivism, tending to favor social issues and sponsorship of collective flourishing on matters foundational to Progressive Thought. Their membership holds firmly to the Core Tenets and Principles of the Party and champion them in any instance possible, likely often wishing to go beyond what is stated by them. While firm in their beliefs, this does not mean Progressive Neo-Hiltfrontists are free from cordial disputes over semantics or specific approaches to a policy issue.

Moderate Wing
Moderates are Neo-Hiltfrontists who do not always align with every Core Tenet or Principle of the Neo-Hiltfrontist Party, yet tend to favor most of its stances, making this Party a more agreeable option than other political factions would be. Moderates tend to prioritize their own policy matters in addition, or in emphasis, of what the Party Platform encourages. This may look like a Moderate House being Staunch Regionalists, Staunch Militarists, or fierce Noble Rights advocates, and identifying with the Neo-Hiltfrontists on these issues, being willing to abide by the rest of what the platform offers by virtue of wanting to see their subject issues in focus.
